French niche line Parfums MDCI has launched Vetyver Messenger, a new fragrance.
Inspired by the African philosophy 'I am because we are,' this fragrance connects people. It is a powerful woody scent with a bright soul. Perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer creates a journey of joy and emotion. This is not a typical vetiver. It mixes fresh notes with a surprising gourmand warmth. It feels luminous, modern, and deeply inviting.
The opening of Vetyver Messenger is crisp and lively with bergamot, grapefruit, and juicy apple. Spicy touches of cardamom and pink berries add energy. The heart reveals earthy carrot and fresh geranium. Finally, the scent settles into a smooth base of robustly woodsy vetiver with a clean, gently gourmand vanilla musk complement. Designed to draw people in and uplift communal spirit, Vetyver Messenger is a call to global unity.
Additional notes include coriander, lavender, hedione, oakmoss, benzoin, ambroxan, tonka bean and ambrette.
Parfums MDCI Vetyver Messenger is available now at Luckyscent, $250 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Ooh, a new Vetiver to try! Sounds interesting, at least.
AnnE! Nice to bump into you here!
I’m still working my way through the vetiver samples you so generously shared with me.😊
Hey, you! Yes, I’m still on my search for my HG Vetiver. 😁
They usually do a great job but sorry to see apple.
Mmm, well, maybe it will be overpowered by the other top notes. 😉
And I’m sorry to see ambroxan.
