L’Artisan Parfumeur has launched Histoire d’Orangers Extrême, a new unisex fragrance. Histoire d’Orangers Extrême is a variation on 2017's Histoire d’Orangers.
Histoire d'Orangers Extrême, a fragrance that reveals its intensity by the warmth of pink peppercorn and the woody depth of cedar.
Alluring floral and amber notes are combined with the vibrant intensity of orange blossom. Pepper and woody tones create a sharp contrast. Warm yet fresh.

For [perfumer] Marie Salamagne, perfume has the power to arouse emotion, evoke memories and transport us elsewhere. With Histoire d'Oranger Extrême, her latest creation, the perfumer invites us to experience the awe of a sunset, at the precise moment when the sun disappears behind the horizon.
[...] Like with the first Histoire d'Orangers composition, I chose to open the Extreme version with a very clear, almost photographic vision of the orange blossom. Then, to capture daylight fading to chiaroscuro, I transcribed a combination of neroli absolute with a waft of mysterious incense. The slight chill of dusk is suggested by cedarwood essence. The powdery texture of musk evokes pollen blown by the warm winds of the Souss valley.
L’Artisan Parfumeur Histoire d’Orangers Extrême is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The first one ended up being too pretty for me (I like my orange blossom a bit more forceful or indolic), but I’d definitely like to try this one.
I also adore the big orange and the blossoms in their product photography on the right
I agree with you. It’s hard to find a good indolic orange blossom. The description sounds like they leaned into the woods so I’m not sure we’ll find our indolic orange blossom here but hope springs eternal!
I did not like it as well as the earlier harvest series orange blossom — can’t recall the name.
