The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 10 January 2025 5 Comments

If you love Le Labo Santal 33 (or the matching candle, Santal 26) and you love Saturday Night Live, this one's for you: "Live from New York, it’s SANTAL 26! For 50 years, Saturday Night Live has been a weekend standby, an invitation to unwind in front of the small screen and watch beloved characters come to life. An incubator for comedic legends, SNL fearlessly gripped the third rail, lampooned celebrities, spotlighted musical talent... and inspired a cult following matched only by Le Labo's iconic candles. A tribute to half a century of making viewers ugly laugh..." 245g for $96 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

LOL, this is one of the dumbest tie-ins I’ve seen.

It’s hard for me to see the appeal but guessing someone will!

I’m guessing because Santal 33 is so popular in NYC? Feels like a stretch

I don’t get it. It’s the same exact candle except for the label and costing a bit more? Is that it?

      So far as I know.

I’m afraid I did not even check the relative cost…not likely I’d buy it in any container so whatever 🙂
