Gallivant Buenos Aires ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 15 October 2024 3 Comments

London-based niche line Gallivant will launch Buenos Aires, the latest in their series of unisex "urban exploration" fragrances, this week.

Inspired by the suave, seductive beauty of Argentina.

Vineyards, yerba maté, dulce de leche - epicurean pleasures

Smooth & smoky, woody and nutty Tonka bean, gaucho leather

Flamboyant, romantic and sensual

Our Buenos Aires perfume opens with a novel grape accord, alongside a dash of zesty citrus notes and Paraguayan petitgrain. The heart of this perfume includes a flamboyant floral note: the ceibo, Argentina's national flower. The iconic yerba maté adds a grassy, hay, smoky tobacco-like dimension And the base of the composition celebrates the much-loved tonka bean, with its creamy, woody, spicy, nutty aspects - in concert with dulce de leche and leather.

Buenos Aires was developed by perfumer Karine Chevallier.

Gallivant Buenos Aires will be available in 8, 30 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

This one does sound appealing, if the grape accord is indeed novel 🙂

I can’t imagine how this comes together. I was barely off a grape accord but maybe it’s like old Lauren with a crisp acidic grape.
