Venus de Nina Ricci ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 28 September 2024 6 Comments

Nina Ricci has launched Vénus de Nina Ricci, a new fragrance for women.

A new modern myth is revealed...With Vénus de Nina Ricci, the House celebrates self-love and spreads a universal message resonating among all women: an invitation to no longer forget yourself, to truly love yourself.

***

Vénus de Nina Ricci is a Chypre Floral centred around a majestic flower, a symbol of beauty and femininity: Magnolia. This flower is a true olfactory jewel. Like goldsmiths, perfumer Alexandra Monet, accompanied by Master Perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp, used an innovative crafting method when making the perfume to magnify the flower's most radiant facets.

Pure, modern and luminous, Magnolia becomes the essence of contemporary femininity as seen by Nina Ricci. White patchouli elegantly underscores its radiant sensuality, while vanilla intensifies its addictive notes. Vénus de Nina Ricci reveals a powerful and unforgettable sillage that elegantly shines from dawn to dusk.

Additional notes include mandarin and jasmine.

Vénus de Nina Ricci is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

I’m not sure about ‘truly loving yourself’ but magnolia is a note I like and very difficult to recreate, so, at least interested.

I would like to see it in person…it does look nice in pictures but I am often disappointed by metalllic finishes in person.

The bottle is beautiful. I am intrigued. Can’t wait to smell it. I’m imagining something similar to La Panthère but with magnolia instead of gardenia as its core. It looks luxurious for a mainstream perfume.

Let’s hope it looks as good in person!
