Trussardi Primo ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 6 September 2024 8 Comments

Italian brand Trussardi has launched Primo, a new fragrance for men.

Intense and creative, Trussardi Primo marks the beginning of a new era in men's fragrances.

Inspired by the elements of nature, the fragrance has a modern and innovative identity that springs from primordial roots. The top notes are mysterious and seductive, the heart notes intense and explosive, while the base notes mark the uniqueness of an exclusive fragrance that celebrates the authentic essence of the contemporary man.

The woody fougère fragrance was developed by perfumer Violaine Collas. The notes include grapefruit, maple syrup, lava accord, geranium, tonka bean, Calabria allspice, patchouli, cedar and sandalwood.

Trussardi Primo is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in a 150 ml refill.

…? My first thought was that it was a set of nightlights.

I thought water decanters with the inverted glass on top. 😂

I think I am going to be alone in sort of appreciating how unique the bottles look…although not my color.

Saying it “marks the beginning of a new era in men’s fragrances” seems grandiose even for perfume copy, but it *sounds* interesting, at least: maple syrup, grapefruit, lava, and allspice? Sure why not! I don’t ever expect to run across this (Trussardi never shows up in Canada) but if I see it I’ll give it a shot.

It does sound kind of interesting.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Trussardi fragrance in the wild.
