Last weekend was having a morning in an air-conditioned mall, where there was a stand-alone Jo Malone store. I tried a sample of Orange Marmalade and and strolled away for a while to see whether it would immediately disappear.
Since it didn’t and was both nice and different enough from AC Orange Sanguine, I bought a 30 ml bottle. My only quibble is that while the paper cover to the classic JM box was sweet, there was only a tiny Paddington head poking out of the back of a London cab – too subtle.
Congrats on your new bottle! It did look like a “restrained” collaboration, decorations-wise.
Orange Marmalade is the same fragrance as Orange Peel, which I have, from the limited edition British Fete summer collection from three years ago. I like that there’s a slight bitterness from the orange peel note that balances the sweetness…much like one gets from eating orange marmalade. I’m glad they brought it back under a name that suits the fragrance better, IMO
The Paddington Bear collab is cute.
