It's Thursday and the 4th of July. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Eau de Guerlain, and I'll probably wear it tomorrow too.
Reminder: on 7/5, we're doing Cologne part 1: wear a classic citrus-based cologne. (If it helps start you off, see 5 perfumes: (great) old school summer colognes. Next week we'll be doing modern citrus-based cologne.)
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2024, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

I’m wearing Eau de Cologne du Coq by Guerlain which seems to be longer lasting than yesterday’s Impériale. I’m so glad I got four large Bee bottles of the classic Guerlain colognes, as they are just wonderful. I will probably choose Eau de Guerlain for tomorrow as well.
I have never tried these
Austen fan, I’m in the same scent!
And LTSG they’re beautiful colognes. They can be a bit fleeting so I like to get some on my hair and or on my shirt collar. I even love their packaging.
Good to have a scent twin!
Which one do I start ?
I meant which one is the best to start with or blind buy lol
That is always difficult to say. My favourite is Eau de Guerlain, which has a hint mint. Cédrat is mostly orange blossom and very short lived, but really lovely. Impériale is a bit greener and more bracing and Coq is probably the leat universally pleasing. It has some lavender and a hint of animalic notes.
Thanks!!
Thank you for the mini-reviews – I will have to try them all!
4711 Acqua Colonia Lavender & Thyme. Saving the original for tomorrow. This version is a classic cologne with a modern twist.
Today a friend of ours helped us with correctly connecting the UPS and battery to the gas boiler. Which means hot water and heating during power outages. Of course, for hot water you still need water to be running (not always the case during blackouts). And as for heating, the battery will last 2-3 hours, provided that it is fully charged. So yes, a lot depends on the duration of blackouts. Still, it makes me feel better that we have it now.
Good to be prepared, Glannys 🙂
That’s good you now have some backup. It’s a sad thing though that you need it. I’m sorry. I hope things improve…. before very long.
Thanks, carole and Calypso.
And I forgot to say: happy 4th July, US friends.
I have just received some good news. The seller of the failed mini ups finished their inspection of the device, admitted it is faulty and agreed to give me the refund. I just need to do the paperwork.
Good! They certainly ought to!
Yay! Glad they did the right thing by you!
Oh good. Small victories.
Your cologne sounds wonderful! So happy for you with your upgrades and refund. Still sending virtual best wishes for your safety and well-being. 💛💙
That’s good to hear Glannys.
Songes again
Happy 4th 🇺🇸
You smell amaziong, and Happy July 4 🙂
*amazing .
Chanel Pour Monsieur for me today. perhaps a little more long lasting than a traditional eau de clogne, but close enough for horseshoes.
A good reminder to wear that soon. One of the few Chanels I actually enjoy.
It’s cold in our house this morning, getting ready to survive the impending heat wave. Consequently I only get half a point for “classic” in Knize Ten.
Some neighbor of ours taped a notice on our door (and, presumably, everyone else’s) a couple of days ago, reminding us that fireworks can start fires and they’re banned within the city limits anyway. Apparently some errant fireworks actually did start a small fire in the school park across the way from us, which is what prompted the papering of front doors. I always worry because we have about 30 trees on our lot, and a handful of idiots in the ‘hood.
I hope you don’t have any fireworks problems. We have the same issue at New Years, when everything is tinder dry.
You smell great! I love Knize Ten. Unfortunately, our sample vial fell and broke some years ago, and I’ve yet to replace it. It’s my favorite masculine scent to wear. I wish Mr. Skal would wear it, but he doesn’t find it addictive in the way I do.
Thanks! Yeah, same here with the Mr. I tried it on him and it just doesn’t work — his skin “dirties up” fragrances, and what works best on him are heavier leathers with some spice and amber. Feu Secret is great on him, for instance.
According to SCOTUS, I’m engaging in criminal behavior as we speak. Yeehaa! I decided to go with CSP Banane Vanille today in celebration of my new found status. I’ve never been a “criminal” before so I’m going to see how far I can take it. Maybe I’ll rob a bank tomorrow? Or find a way to swindle the middle class out of billions? Or maybe I can be the CEO kind of criminal and boost my salary up into the millions as 99.1% of my employees struggle to feed their kids and afford gas and electricity? We won’t mention affordable housing, because there are many people about to step over THAT line into criminality within the next few years. Do you think I’ll be able to keep my perfume collection in jail? I’d like to be the best smelling hard-nosed criminal in the hoosegow! Who’s with me? Oh, Happy 4th of July! 😂 🍌
Maybe you could give yourself immunity?
Hah! 😂😂😂
No thanks, the only thing(s) I would like to be immune to is polio, and the rest of his miserable friends like MMR, diphtheria, Hep B, etc…😝
This made me laugh.
Deva, I absolutely approve of this tirade (you’re awesome!) 😀
Hear, hear!
Happy 4th!
SOTD!
Mona di Orio Carnation.Beautiful creation, and the spicy cloves is just right on another chilly day.
I had the day off,did at little as possible!
Standby weekend for me,hope it’s quiet!
XO’s
I don’t know if I’ve smelled Mona di Orio’s Carnation but I love Carnation fragrances so I know you smell lovely!
Here’s to a quiet weekend😎
I don’t think I have tried that Mona, I am sure it’s great:) Love carnation.
Eau de Givenchy for me today and a lovely citrus Eau it is.
I found a bottle of this after reading a book about the 111 perfumes one has to smell before dying. The French title sounded much better🇫🇷
You smell lovely! A great fragrance for the heat, too. I went through at least 2 bottles.
Thank you, Gail. I definitely want to reach for this more. It hits the spot in the summer heat.
You do smell nice! 111? Why that number, do you know?
Happy 4th! 🇺🇸
Thank you😊 I have no idea why it’s 111 other than they thought there were 111, not 110 and not 112. It struck me as odd too🤔
You smell great!
😊
It is very muggy here, getting ready to rain shortly. I’m wearing Prada Candy, which I love in the summer. I saw in the Donatella poll that Jalapeño got a 30ml bottle last quarter, that’s the size I have and it’s so cute. Enjoy, Jalapeño!
Muggy & hot here too!
Assam of India. Some of the old timers might remember that I wore this one for seven weeks straight the summer of 2016 and started the Assam of India craze. I still have a row of elephants left. Hard to believe that was eight years ago.
https://nstperfume.com/2016/07/27/wednesday-scent-of-the-day-727/
For me it’s always been less about the tea and much more about the citrus with a beautiful sandalwood drydown
I’d love to love that one but it goes all soapy on me…if you need another bottle let me know…I’m ready to give up the ghost with my bottle. Just doesn’t work for me, even after many attempts.🙁
What????? Yes I’d love it because I’m down to the last row.
Email me at Taiga101 in the land of yabooligans with your deets. Sorry, I don’t have the box, but I’m happy to send it your way unclothed. 😂
Thank you!!!!
Yes, I remember those marching elephants…
I’m sure that my bottle has earned you an enabler pin, lol! That bottle is so fun, and the scent, too. 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🩶
Haha yes I earned plenty of enabler pins
That sounds wonderful, chocolate marzipan! I have now added it to my test list. Happy 4th, everybody
It’s a good one for the summer
Those elephants are SO CUTE!
Hello all!
I’m not really one for traditional colognes, so the best I can do is Bigarade Concentree.
I had my last Statistics test yesterday and got a 90. I did some calculations and I only need a 79 to get an A in the class. I hope I do, for all the work I had to do teaching myself. The minute grades are entered I’m going to figure out why this class format was acceptable. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to look in YouTube for instructions.
Have a great day everyone!
It’s like the professor for that class was a ghost. Was there even a way to contact him/her via email with questions? Doesn’t seem like he/she was teaching anything since you had to go to YouTube for help. Maybe you are due a paycheck for teaching yourself statistics…? Buy yourself a nice bottle of perfume with that windfall. 😉
He hosted a weekly zoom meeting for questions, which is where he suggested watching YouTube videos if I couldn’t understand the concepts.
Would love a lil rebate but I have a feeling that wouldn’t happen.
Can you complain to the department head or just run the teaching format by the head to see if this is even allowed and appropriate? The teacher is short, changing you and everyone in the class this semester and he will probably go on doing it and many students who are not as enterprising and smart as you may fail the class because of his non-teaching.
Yes, that’s my plan, to ask the department head for the minimum expectations of this format of class. Before I even mention what class I’m taking or who my professor is.
On the flip side, my Bio 2 professor has already emailed us and it seems much more comprehensive.
I would advise, complain as well to the dean of the college. That really just seems unacceptable to me. Or when you contact the department chair, cc it to the dean too. That way the chair is on notice.
I mean, if some members of our state can contact the governor about problems with so-called PC professors, then other members of our state such as yourself should be able to complain about lazy irresponsible do-nothing professors!
Yes, I might ask for your proofread before I send off any emails, if that’s alright!
Statistics is no joke. Yay on you for the great grade!
And boo-hiss to shodily run classes.
Thank you! Only two more sleeps till I’m done.
Again, since I don’t have any old-fashioned colognes of any flavor, I’m doing citrus but in a modern guise, wearing Acqua di Parma Bergamot di Calabria. It is VERY heavy on the citrus.
Here’s a link to the beautiful bottle I bought it in when it came out. I do really love the scent but alas, it’s got little longevity on me. https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Acqua-di-Parma/Bergamotto-di-Calabria-La-Spugnatura-66175.html
Another heat index day. Sigh.
Lovely bottle!
I’m so over the heat. :/
Isn’t it? I try not to but every so often I give in to bottle porn.
That bottle is gorgeous.
Quite heavy, too!
Not doing much today, I might be going to a farmer’s market to pick up some corn on the cob for dinner. Wearing vintage no 19 edp today.
Hope you find some good corn Dawn! July 4 is the traditional date for “good” corn in my part of PA.
Found a sample of Guerlain Herbes Troublant, seems to fit the bill for heat wave and close to CP.
I was planning a relaxing day, third day of heat wave here. But then we decided to invite our friends over to use the community pool, since they don’t have AC. So now I have to get off the computer/couch and do a frantic tidy up. It’s all good, I need the motivation to tidy up anyways.
I’m sure it was worth it for the swim 🙂
Two peaches in lieu of smoothie.
It’s only 19C but some sun this afternoon. I picked Voyage parfum this morning and it kept me happy all day, I also have the EDT but I’m saving it for warmer weather. Tonight it’s l’Air de Rien.
I love peaches, and I also love Voyage-you smell amazing!
Peaches season is a delight, thank you, Voyage is a treasure.
Voyage is a great scent! Though I’m not sure I ever tried the parfum. I find it similar to Angeliques sous la pluie but more more joyful and interesting.
It’s not talked about much compared to Terre but I adore it, especially if you like cardamom do try the parfum.
I prefer Voyage to Terre any day, personally.
I hope you get some warmer weather Aurora.
Thank you Lillyjo, I’m trying to be philosophical about it, all this week it’s been like weather in spring.
I’m still awake and answering comments because I’m listening to the election results.
Oh ok. I was going to tell you to go to bed under my post, but decided to check in here too.
Hopefully you still get some sleep.
I’m off on a little book tour today, doing the rounds at independent bookshops, reading and talking. It will be nice to see a bit of the snowy alps in the change of scene. Wearing Ys-Uzsac Lale which is a winter sweet ( osmanthus) , citrus floral scent. Very beautiful perfume for a frosty morning.
I hope that you are enjoying yourself, it sounds like a very nice trip.
I never tried Lale, I only ever got samples of Pohadka and Satin Doll and bought a bottle of the last one.
I do love Osmanthus though, and this rendition sounds lovely, I might want to get a few more samples, but for some reason their website is not working for me. I’ll keep checking.
That sounds like my idea of heaven. The bookstore in town here closed during the pandemic, and I really miss it. Enjoy your day!
Oh good for you! Do you enjoy that or is it stressful? I am so introverted I imagine I would find it hard.
Have fun on your tour! I think that is so cool!
I’m wearing vintage (80’s?) D’Orsay Etiquette Bleue today, in all its shape-shifting beauty. It starts out like a cologne with citrus and juniper, and morphs into a soft, resinous skin scent. Notes here are opoponax, myrrh, and sandalwood. I’ve never worn a fragrance that changes so much! I’m loving it, though, and today it goes into the “I should wear this more often” file.
Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans! 🇺🇸✌🏻🎇
Our fireworks here have been canceled! Wah! It’s so disappointing. 😞 Apparently, the barge had a fire, and that’s the reason. I’m not personally devastated, but this is a BIG DEAL here. It’s the annual arts festival, they have colonial re-enactments (lots of history here,) and everyone and their dog invites friends and family to visit. The fireworks are set over the harbor, and the town gives out flares to all the homes and business abutting the harbor to place on their properties, and it looks beautiful. Oh well…next year.
Now I’m off to look at art!
Happy Independence Day AnnE!
I’m sorry about the fireworks but enjoy the art. The reenactments sounds fun.
Thanks, lillyjo, and the same to you! Will you be going out for fireworks?
It started to rain as soon as we were ready to go out, so the art will have to wait til tomorrow morning. I suppose the bright side is that the rain doesn’t matter, since we weren’t going to get to see any fireworks anyway, lol!
I enjoy the reenactments. Of course, there are uniformed soldiers, and it’s the one time per year that the cannon gets fired. I did not know that some of the soldiers brought family members with them who set up camp between marches, cooked, etc. There is a blacksmith, and an apothecary, etc. so it’s a learning experience. The geeky student in me loves it!
I don’t go to the fireworks anymore. Mostly because of crowds and traffic.
Paris-Deauville today. In fact, it’s time to go reapply….
Mr. Skal and I finally got out onto the lake in our own kayaks — it has been too windy, or else pouring rain, every day for the past week. We were out early enough that there wasn’t too much traffic from speedboats and jet skis, though things were picking up as we paddled back in. We saw tons of herons, ospreys, and ducks (mergansers, I think).
The unfortunate excitement came when we re-racked the kayaks: we were suddenly swarmed by wasps. Turns out they had built a nest in the cockpit of the kayak berthed just below ours. We must have tipped some water onto the nest, and out they came. Fortunately, neither of us was stung — I do not know how — and neither of us is allergic, but YIKES. I’ve no idea whose kayak it is, but we have alerted the management.
Happy 4th to those who celebrate it!
D’oh, not mergansers — mallards!
So glad you weren’t stung!
How fun – I’m glad you finally got to go out paddling. A curse on jet skis. Just ruins the peace of being out on the water. 😡
That was a close call with the wasps!
I have been AFK as Mini She-ra would say but am back from a wonderful trip to Oahu and Kauai. 🌺 Was my first visit to Hawaii and it was equal parts green, glorious and magical. I brought Pacifica Island Vanilla and it was a perfect choice. 🏝
Less glorious was testing positive for Covid on Saturday. 😷 Flew back on red eye on Weds night and noticed a sore throat on Friday afternoon and then a temp on Sat morning so I tested and it went positive immediately. ehaehe My first time testing positive so I had a good 4 year run. It was not too bad…2 days of 101-102 fever w/ aches and then was fever free without meds on Tues. Brother She-ra traveled w/ us and he also got sick but She-ra Mini did not…assume we got on return flight. Mr. She-ra stayed home for work and was also spared. 🤷♀️My sense of smell is a bit diminished/not 100% and I have been sniffing a set of essential oils to help move things along.
And to sprinkle a bit of enabling dust, I just placed an order on Zara. Bought Parfait d’Orchidee and a couple from the Days of Week series they did that were also on sale…haven’t smelled any of these yet but they are relatively cheap. 😅 They have a sale page of Fragrances right now. They also have a new haircare line and I bought the texturizing and blow out sprays based on some online reviews.
😮💨That’s all the news that fit to share methinks. Happy 4th of July! 🎆
Happy 4th and good to see you!
Thanks, lillyjo! Hope you had a great 4th!
Well, I’m envious of your Hawaii trip but very sorry to hear about the Covid. I’m glad some were spared. Feel better, and smell better, soon.
Thank you, Calypso! ♥️
Nice to see you! Sounds like a wonderful trip, sorry about the plague but glad Mini was spared and thanks for the enabling dust.
Thanks, ringthing. Plague happens. 😉
Congrats on your first Hawaii trip! I remember my first trip so well. One of the first things I did was to sniff a blooming plumeria, and from then on, I was head over heels in love with the flower and the islands.
What was your favorite experience there?
So sorry you and your brother caught the plague. Hoping you and your sniffer are back to 100% soon!
Thanks, AnnE. Probably hiking Diamon Head. The first morning after we arrived we took an Uber to Diamond Head…I had made reservations in advance. The driver was retired, born in Oahu and was previously an architect and told us his life story, what to see and do on the island, which route to take when we were going to rent a car, etc. He was so sweet and kind and just genuine. We had a great hike up and at the top it rained a bit and there were rainbows. 🌈 Stunning views. After we hiked down, we took another Uber to lunch and went to Zippy’s (local chain w/ yummy Hawaiian food) based on recommendations from friends who had lived there previously and our next driver realized the Zippy’s we chose didn’t have much seating…mostly takeout only and he told us which one to go to and we rerouted and went there. Had a fabulous and delicious lunch. Lots of stuff on the trip just worked out and had locals being really kind and helpful. Was a wonderful first day and that momentum just kept going. 🥰
How wonderful! It sounds like the perfect vacation. Thanks for sharing!
🌴☀️🌈
Hawaii is beautiful, glad you had such a lovely time. However I’m sorry to hear you ended up with the plague!
Thank you, Gail! ♥️
Glad your Hawaii trip was all you hoped for. Getting COVID sucks, but at least it didn’t mess up your trip.
Thank you, Sapphire! Yes, we were quite lucky w/ the timing.
Hope you had a great trip
Thanks, LTSG! It was wonderful.
I was wondering where you were and happy to note you were on vacation. Sorry about COVID and hope you recover soon!
Thank you, hajusuuri! ♥️
So sorry to hear about the COVID results. I hope you recover quickly and completely.
Thanks, Coumarin.
Glad you had fun in Hawaii. People have been asking about you on here so you know you were missed.
Jalapeño just bought Zara’s Parfait d’ Orchidee as well. I am contemplating it too. The price is always right!
Aww…thank you, Kris! 🥰 I will have to see how Jalapeno liked that one…great minds think alike! 😉
Happy 4th, and welcome back, recover quickly.
Thank you, Aurora!
It’s a another cold day here, that’s to be expected in the middle of winter, but that doesn’t mean I have to enjoy it!
I’m wearing Chambre Noire, a favourite for this time of year.
You definitely do not have to enjoy it!
https://youtu.be/N_lCmBvYMRs?feature=shared
A little trip back in time with Whitney Houston on this Independence Day.
I’m working the day shift. Wondering how my doggie will do tonight for his first fireworks. We aren’t going out, but are pretty close to where they are set off.
Sotd is TF Metalique.
Happy 4th, lillyjo!
I hope your doggo does OK with the fireworks. I know it can be an ordeal for some. A friend of mine had to use a thundershirt on her sensitive dog; I understand it’s a snug fitting vest/shirt that is supposed to help them feel calm in those types of situations.
I hope it’s not too loud. He doesn’t seem to be bothered by thunder so maybe he will be ok.
Of course, the puppy! How old is he now? It might be fine. We’re on our 3rd dog, and none of them have had any trouble with the noise. 🤞🏻
I believe he’s just about a year now. I have had him for almost 6 months.
That’s great! How is he adjusting? Let us know how he did tonight. 🐶🩷
Oy with the fireworks! The friends we visited today have two havanese: one is 15 yo, deaf and can only partially see out of one eye; the other one is a robust 8 yo, twice the size of my sister’s dog and they’re supposed to be siblings. The 8 yo is deathly afraid of fireworks and a thunder shirt didn’t help at all. He will be babied tonight.
Aww.. poor pups. Stressful night for them.
I watched that video too this morning. Also the one with The Dixie Chicks. (2009, I think).
I will check it out!
Fingers crossed he’s not scared, happy 4th.
Thanks Aurora! I will report on how he does tomorrow.
This was right across the bay from me. Trying to remember 1991 and…nothing! Must have been a pretty boring year for me. Hope doggo does okay tonight🐕 Mine is a quivering mess trying to crawl up my leg and under my shirt..!
Happy 4th everyone!
I sprayed on Shalimar eau de cologne earlier today. I like it “just sprayed on” but there seems to be something in it that doesn’t agree with my skin after it wears a bit. Maybe it’s the warm weather we’re having so I will have to try it when it’s cooler out.
I do have Love’s Fresh Lemon on deck for later tonight.🍋
I like Shalimar cologne, I have an older bottle
I don’t think mine is all that old. If you’re interested, I could send it to you (possibly via your hubby’s parents, since I’m in Canada).
Aww! I have enough Shalimar cologne, but thanks for offering.
You’re welcome! Shalimar has so many versions; it’s nearly impossible to love them all!
Some people like wearing the cologne in the summer, but I think it’s better suited for Spring/Fall.
I think you may be right, lillyjo!
After reading Robin’s article, “5 perfumes: (great) old school summer colognes,” I realized I had minis of 3 of them. Colognes are not really on my fragrance radar, but I am pleased to get to try Guerlain Eau de Cologne Imperial today. Just now put it on and will be taking walk to our usual Mexican spot for dinner, so I will see if it keeps me refreshed! It was fun to splash on, and I’ll take it with me to reapply on the way home. We got .75 of an inch of much needed rain today, though it did not cool things off much.
Hi Mossy! I need to try some Guerlain colognes.
Forgot to comment in Donatella’s poll yesterday. My only purchase last quarter was a tester bottle of Creed Queen of Iris from eBay. Had FOMO today and called the Neiman Marcus I used to go to in Dallas to see if they still had Bois des Iles extrait. They did! So have really splurged and will be eagerly awaiting. Thankfully the weather is cooling off here. SOTD is LVEB Iris Absolu, inspired by Hajusuuri earlier this week.
Congrats on your new BdI extrait! FOMO is strong 😅
Glad I inspired! You smell wonderful!
You’ve probably saved some future money, since if it’s still around then it definitely will be costing more
SOTD = Eau de Commando
Got up late and decided to go with the option of no scent. I need a break sometimes so if you feel like deducting some perfumista points, please feel free 🤣
The July 4th get-together was wonderful. We went to a friends’ house in Staten Island, easy peasy as far as traffic was concerned. Our friend was the hostess with the mostest so I came home with more food than I brought in – not really though since I had to say no to many things (do I need more than 1 dessert?).
Happy Foirth to those who celebrate!
I would say yes to all the desserts!
Happy 4th!
I also say yes to all the desserts!
All the desserts!
Wearing Jasmine White Moss, which does have some citrus, if not exactly a cologne
You smell lovely.
Today I went to a museum that used to be a Revolutionary War tavern where they had a fun little gathering going on – museum tour, games for kids, music, free watermelon, and a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. I thought there was supposed to be more cloud cover so when sun came out I started melting. Then I drove to our local B&N and randomly read a children’s book about the history of the Revolution. I’m telling y’all, sometimes kids’ books are more straight forward and simpler to info-digest then all those lengthy volumes from the library (altho I read those too). So, I felt like I did my patriotic duty today, lol. Also, like many others on here, not looking forward to the inevitable noise this evening, nor is Buddy. Happy 4th of July!
Fun! I love those kinds of things. Sounds like you were in my neck of the woods. 😉
Hello!
Happy 4th! 🎆 🇺🇸
Debating weather or not to go to the fireworks show as it is hot and the show is usually about 10 mins lol. A great 10 mins but nonetheless lol.
I am craving vintages and even had a dream I discovered a vintage Berdoues lol. I was talking with a lady in a sitting area and she asks me if I knew who made a perfume that she recently acquired. Then she takes out this flat, square bottle, can’t remember what it said on the front. It started with an “A” and it was like three words in French lol. No idea what. Lol. But on the back, lightly etched in gold but worn off some..it said, Berdoues. And I said, “Oh it is a Berdoues, can I smell it?” And she let me spritz away. It smelled lemony, sweet, powdery in a Jersey way with aldehydes. Haha, it smelled pretty good. So that was cool lol.
So, going with lemony, sweet, powdery theme, I spritzed on some Shalimar Souffle Intense:). Fun lol.
Hope everyone has a great holiday!! 🌹
What a cool dream! I’ve never smelled anything in a dream; I wonder if it’s rare.
It was, can’t say it has happened to me a lot lol but yeah, smelling a perfume that doesn’t exist was interesting for sure:). Wild lol.
Hi everyone! Long time no post, but I’ve been trying to keep up with reading the comments.
I went swimming today at someone else’s pool, and it was so lovely. I still feel that nice, relaxed feeling after giving my body a slight break from gravity.
And now I’m in Pamplelune and enjoying a Grapefruit Radler, which makes an excellent pairing! Happy 4th, fellow Americans. I hope my neighbors don’t go crazy with the fireworks.
Good to see you and glad you got to chill in the pool!
Oh, I phoned Guerlain about the Patchouli scent, was told it won’t be released in the U.S. until around August 1st.
