Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit! We're celebrating the arrival of June with our same old open thread poll.
Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, your favorite scented body products for summer, whatever.
Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…
Note: the Bunny mini tray from Nathalie Lété and Avenida Home is $15 at Indio Durham.
Hello, rabbit x 3 and happy weekend!
I have arrived at Taipei, finished dinner and just checked in. Dinner was Japanese Tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet). Super yummy.
No perfume for me today because, plane ride and small space. I did however sprayed some peppermint essential oil on my mask!
My favourite scented body product for summer has to be shimmer body oils and boy, do I have an arsenal – MFK Baccarat 540, MFK Oud Satin Mood, EL Bronze Goddess (they don’t sell them this year! The nerve! They do however offer a bronzed shimmer gel type but seems too dark for my vampire skin.), J’Adore shimmer gel, TF Soleil Blanc, Soleil Neige, Nuxe…etc. I also have shimmer powders and body sprays but that’s another story for another poll 😉
Any other fellow magpies out there?
I love anything shiny, sparkly, glittery:).
Bronze Goddess Body Oil is always good. I liked this one design by BBW that has been disco’d for a while. It was a dual pump dispenser, one side lotion, one side glitter gel, with the option to just apply the lotion or the gel, or obviously choose both and get a lotion-glitter swirl. Then a dial on top to choose just how much glitter you want in your lotion. 1-2-3-4. IIRC. It was pretty cool. Was kinda bummed when they disco’d it lol
BBW always has some fun stuff. Their glittery body sprays are soooo sparkly!
I’ve got a Nuxe shimmer oil and a Guerlain Vol de Nuit glitter powder with a blue glass propellor bottle and a puffer!
Love them but rarely remember to use them.
Yessss! I have the Vol de Nuit shimmer powder too! It’s such a gorgeous collector’s item that I can’t bring myself to actually use it.
I have a travel-sized British Rose body butter from The Body Shop that has a slight pearlescent glow to it.
They have glowy creams!? I missed out! I only have shimmery body mists from them. My favourite is the holiday peppermint scented one from a couple years back. I bought 2.
Had. Past tense. The body butter I have is easily 4 years old. And I only ever saw a glowy cream in the British Rose scent.
AFAIK, it’s all discontinued now. 😒
If only they have glowy stuff in their White Musk. I’d be all over it.
Rabbits 🐰
Amyris Homme
Beautiful weather this weekend.
Am at the beach in Delaware and it is gorgeous here too, really perfect. Bound to be too hot soon enough.
I’m rounding out the week’s CP in Marine Épice, for the ocean wave in the left-hand section of the mural, and for the spices that surely would also have been planted in the middle section.
Nice call SheriG.
Rabbit rabbit rabbit, happy first day of the new month, and happy first day of summer! (I was delighted to learn that meteorologists deem the first day of a season to be the first day of the month in which that season officially begins, which means it is summer, regardless of what the astronomical-season sticklers think.)
It is a grey, windy, rain-spattered start to the season, but I don’t care because just for laughs I’m in my favourite CSP layering of Vanille Banane (such fun) and Vanille Abricot (tones down the cartoonishness a little), guaranteed to brighten up any day.
I got a Kindle Scribe recently and I have been reading a LOT. Just yesterday I started a book called Poisoned, about the U.S. E. coli outbreak in 1992-1993 that killed four children and permanently injured 178 more. The first chapter had me in tears, so I guess that’s some good writing.
That book sounds really fascinating. Who is the author?
The author is Jeff Benedict. It’s clearly going to be a rough read — a lot of people suffered and the companies involved didn’t want to take any responsibility — but the topic is grimly fascinating.
Ooooo 📚
Sounds like it. I’m going to write this down. My daughter is a grad student in biology, sounds just like something she would like.
I have not read this one, but taught What the Eyes Don’t See by Mona Hanna-Attisha in my water course this semester. It’s about the Flint water crisis, which even (especially?) my sole Michigander student knew little about. Terrific, infuriating book – by the pediatrician who was a key whistle-blower in this tragedy. I learned so much from it.
Forgot the rabbits this month. I was working on some pesky bills, debating if I should get more stuff from the Bath and Body Works semi annual sale. I am making myself wait until payday to see if I truly want more. I did order some candles. Two for my manager, one for me and 2 for my parents. Wearing Eau Premiere today and about to head to work.
Do you haveBBW favourites/summer favourites?
I don’t have summer favorites. I had to stock up on the Pink Lavender and Espresso, Bergomot and Birch and Orange Blossom candles.
I liked this BBW one called Coconut Lime Breeze, IIRC, I think Robin liked this one as well? But not sure. I remember us both liking something with lime in it lol. Last thing I got from there was Black Cherry Merlot 🍒
The Black Cherry Merlot candles smell good cold but there is something about them being lit that bother me.
Coffee and breakfast this morning with girlfriends. Even better is that we did it about a 2 minute walk from my place…. SOTD was a combo of “Off! Deep Woods” and Jasmin Perle du Thé by Fragonard.
About to go finish repotting some flowers for our front porch. We are due to get rain this afternoon, so I should try to finish it soon….
I absolutely adore Fragonard’s soaps, but for some reason haven’t tried the perfumes. They’re reasonably priced, too.
Our rain just ended, it was really coming down heavy for awhile.
Back from my trip to Paris. It was amazing, 5 days with girlfriends.
Even though the weather wasn’t great there, i had a blast visiting museums, perfume places, libraries and even went to a concert at Olympia.
I went to the new Diptyque store which is decorated like an old parisien appartement, has a very nice coffee shop, i highly recommend visiting when you are in Paris.
I went to Bien Aime and got some hand creams and Jours Heureux perfume and also did some damage at the Celine store.
I am wearing Peau Nu.
I am happy to be back and enjoy some sun and nice summery weather!!
How lovely!
Sounds like a great Paris trip. I love your description of the Diptyque boutique 🙂
Sounds like a great time!
My hometown, glad you had a great time.
That all sounds wonderful!
Oh, wonderful! So glad you enjoyed it!
Welcome back, what a great trip!
Welcome back!
What a charming bunny, Robin!
I remembered my rabbits when I woke up.
Yesterday I met my friend for a lazy lunch along Hermosa Beach and got my new bottle of BOE that she muled for me from Heathrow.
191 dollars for the EDT.
Going to unwrap that right after my shower.
Enjoy the unwrapping! How nice of your friend to bring it over.
yep!
My sister is coming home through Nairobi to JFK and the duty free there is very small.
I am wearing Caron Piu Bellodgia and drinking a cup of English Breakfast tea. The Piu Bellodgia is a scent I use every now and then because it has been discontinued and I don’t want it to run out.
I bought it in Paris seven years ago. Caron boutique was the first stop we made after landing in Paris and checking into our hotel. I bought this wonderful fragrance and my friend bought Aimez Moi.
My friend ended up giving me her bottle of Aimez Moi a few months later because she felt it didn’t work on her. I wear it sometimes when I am with her. She asked me once, “wow, whatever you are wearing smells great!” . She told me she was glad the scent works well on me .
I know there are some fragrances that work well on others, but not me. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is one of them. I love the way it smells on others, but I can’t wear it.
Have a happy Saturday 🙂
I feel the same , there are some scents I love on others but not on me
Ditto.
Yay rain, which we’ll have another week of. After semi-successful errand running I am staying put for the afternoon. Doing a sniff off of my musk collection aka all two of the. PN Poudre de Musc Intense is nice, but Montale White Musk is softer, which is what I seem to want in a musk. The latter is 100 ml, and the former is 15, so it all works out well.
Took me a minute to get it but yes, glad you have 100 ml of the one you love!
Hello!
A slight cool off this weekend but not by much. Will be 109f this week lol..and rising.
I found a great food spot, tried the Vegetable Biryani. It was so good, that it is all I want to eat this week lol. Always fun to find a really good food spot.
In Gris Clair
Have a great day everyone! 🌹
Gosh Omega, that is hot.
109F?!? GAAH! 🥵🥵🥵
Happy rabbitsing and happy Children’s Day if you celebrate it today as we do in Poland.
I’m in Rania J. Lavande 44, partly to repel mosquitos as i went on a trip to visit a castle. It’s a modern castle, built in XXI century and its still not finished so only visiting from the outside was possible bit it was still fun.
I didn’t know they still build castles these days 🙂
Yes, that surprising
I’m at work, day shift thank goodness. 3 people have already not shown up. My sotd is Chloe Love Story eau Sensuelle. I am looking at getting a different Chloe and have been sampling lately.
I haven’t seen Perfumelover67 post lately. I hope she is well.
Yes, I’ve noticed her absence too.
Glad you’re on the day shift, I got interested in Chloe too, especially the all natural perfumes but I keep getting distracted.
I’ve been looking at the Nomade Jasmin intense. I haven’t tried it yet though. I also really like the Luminous.
Their scents are so pretty, oh yes I recall your liking the luminous very much, the Rose Naturelle intense is very girly and no ambroxan AT ALL.
Oh good to know. Thanks!
I think the last time PL67 posted, she mentioned that her work was getting super busy. So maybe that’s why she hasn’t posted?
Hello from … the HAL ship! We are somewhere between Copenhagen and Oslo, that’s the best I can tell you 🤣.
I did my rabbits this morning. No sets to share so hopefully you got your own.
SOTD = Chanel No.5 EDT
It’s a beauty. No IG post though as I was a little lazy. On the other hand, I do have one of a “still life” from The Grand Dutch Cafe.
https://www.instagram.com/p/C7r3VP0x341/?igsh=OXRoNHcwM2xuZ3U5
Tomorrow, we arrive Oslo at 10am. We did not book any excursions so we will just follow a guidebook to the best we can!
Ooh, have fun! Norway looks so beautiful. It would be on my bucket list were I to ever make it across the pond. (Which is doubtful because: flying) I’ll enjoy vicariously through your insta!😁
Its beautiful.
My sister and I drove to Trondheim about 25 years ago.
That was a drive.
Have a wonderful time!!
Oh, that’s on my list someday — really want to do the Hurtigruten cruise all the way up past Nordkap. Someday…
Have a wonderful time!
Have a great time, sounds nice!
We’re now officially in winter, and I’m happy that the weather is milder now than a week ago.
I’m still in a cloud of last night’s perfume, Ambra from Omnia Profumi. Once that is on clothes, it’s there forever!
When I change out of my home clothes for a walk later, I think I’ll stay with the amber theme and wear Amber Absolutely from Fort and Manle.
Your clothes smell great! 😆
No rabbits this morning, and also no luck. Tickets for a concert we wanted to see at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam went on sale today. Mr. Ockeghem checked before bed, and they weren’t on sale yet. By the time we woke up, it was completely sold out. Sigh. Well, seeing it in Essen (Germany) is the backup plan, as they’re doing the concert there the next night…we will see when tickets go on sale on the 15th.
Sadly, there aren’t that many concerts we really want to see in Europe this year…it’s a Bruckner year and everyone’s stuffing their programs with that.
Oh…and wearing White Cube today, for exciting errands like driving to the U.S. to return car seat covers that didn’t fit and getting my International Driving Permit.
Fingers crossed for your German tickets.
Dang, that is a bummer! What concert?
We just got tickets this week for Jane’s Addiction with Love and Rockets this September . It’s the Love and Rockets that I’m most excited about.🤩
Love and Rockets! I’d be excited about that, too!
It’s a classical concert — Mahler’s first symphony. When we temporarily escape from the boonies, we try to take Ockeghem Teen to see as many world-class orchestras and museums as we can, and it would have been lovely to see the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. But…not to be. The conductor is the new hot 20-something that Chicago just hired, so I imagine everyone wants to go. Amsterdam accommodations were insanely expensive that weekend, anyway, so money saved, I guess.
You’re reminding me that I should look into which bands are touring in Europe this fall, too, as we never get the good tours at home, either. 🙂
Very cool! I am familiar with JA and like them but admit, I don’t know much about Love and Rockets. Will have to check them out!
I remember when JA and NIN toured..the NINJA tour lol
What concert did you want to attend in Amsterdam? The Concertgebouw is pretty amazing, I have to admit. I’ve attended a few concerts there over the years and have never been disappointed.
It’s the Concertgebouw doing Mahler 1. But if we’re lucky, we’ll be able to see them do the same concert in Essen the next day…will see if we can get those tickets when they go on sale later this month. Essen, of course, is not quite as exciting as Amsterdam, though. 🙂
I can see that you would want tickets for that. I’m sure Essen is not very pretty, but the concert should be good, I really hope you will be able to attend it.
Well, there’s a UNESCO World Heritage site there…a former coal mine. It’s exactly what I’d expect for the Ruhr, so it’s worth visiting. 🙂
Trying to get tickets to anything these days is so absurdly difficult.
It’s like trying to get restaurant reservations. Every decent restaurant in my city now has a different set of rules / timing / amount of money you have to put down. It’s ridiculous.
I was up for awhile before I remembered my rabbits, but said them before I left the house.
I’m in several different scents freshly arrived from STC. Eau de Hadrien, Bigarade Concentree and Mugler cologne on one arm and back of hand and Hermes Eau d’hermes and Eau d’orange verte on the other. My sniff test is picking the FM as the winner.
I’m also thinking about the new Cristalle and currently have it in my basket over on Chanel. Safe blind buy? For those of you who’ve tried it, how does it compare to the original?
Thank you all for the kind words yesterday. It was a long day of driving after a long week and now today I’m feeling quite lazy. The rain is not helping. I’m taking it as a sign that I need a little downtime, so I’m taking it and trying not to feel guilty about it. I did exercise this morning and get groceries, so at least there’s that.
Cm8 posted about the new Cristalle. She said she loved it.
Don’t feel guilty about downtime. You have more than earned it.
Thanks lillyjo.😊
It’s still rather cool for the season but there was some sun at least. Cleaning window project is at half mark.
Diorissimo vintage esprit de parfum today, it was just wonderful, and tonight Vanira Moorea which is my preferred version of a gourmand orange blossom, although I kind of want Oriana.
I love Oriana, I thunked samples quickly. Definitely a sign an FB is in order at some point. I love the bottle as well.
And I apologize not getting back about the Vetyverio. I think it does pretty well in the heat but maybe the EDT would be better than the EDP idk.
You smell great!
Oh, so we both love Oriana! No worries thank you very much for your answer😃
I remembered my rabbits at 12:12 a.m. last nite (this morning) because I am always the last to bed.
Soup Of The Day today is Prada Infusion d’ Iris. I have been wanting to use that sample for a while, just waiting for the right day. It is surprisingly long lasting, and I just could not stop sniffing my arm; I’m sure I looked like a weirdo. Very nicely done.
Tomorrow’s soup will be Philosykos.
I forgot to rabbit, again! Hope you get the luck you deserve 🙂
Happy Sunday NST! Or Monday as the case may be.
I’m wearing Chanel Egoiste on a cool rainy day.
Perfect rainy day scent:)
Wrapping up my vacation (sigh) in Commodity Gold.
I don’t use scented body products very much, tending to use Olay or Aveeno oil after my shower at night. I have a small bottle of Nuxe oil but find it quite potent
Having to finish up my organizing/purging of our study. Came upon a treasure trove of old photos from my husband’s grandfather’s business and set upon organizing those, along with decades of family photos. I want to put together packets of photos for my husband’s sibs. This part has really slowed me down but once it is done the photos will be re-homed and distributed.
Not looking forward to 3 straight weeks of work after today.
Sorry the vacation had to end!
That is a nice thing to do with the photographs, good luck getting it finished.
It won’t get up to 70F today, so it’s a little chilly this time of year. Will be switching over to Theorema after my shower.
Great choice!
Well, we’re about to enjoy an “atmospheric river” here in Portland, so I hope that Daniel and his daughter got their trip to Fumerie done yesterday or earlier. Wore Omnia Ambra at bedtime last night because Gaynor mentioned it yesterday, and I’m back in Eau Sauvage this morning because it’s just so beautiful.
Stay safe and dry SheriG!
It’s pouring rain here and the first load of laundry is in the washer. I’m wearing Houbigant Orangers en Fleur from the Swapmeet. It is so pretty, but makes me feel like I should be wearing a dress.
Ha, I know that perfume feeling! It is rare I am dressed for my perfume.
Hello!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend 🌹
More Gris Clair for me
Great long weekend here and sorry it is over! Hope yours was good too Omega.
Hi everyone. I’ve been busy doing some household management things and planning a trip over to Santa Fe in July. It’s sort of for a conference but maybe moreso to get out of Houston weather, and I finally think I’ll manage to get to the Santa Fe opera, which I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s La Traviata while I’m there and that’s a good one to see. Things are expensive there, though–tickets, bus ride, and pre-concert meal–I think I’ll do all that but it adds up.
I put on some SL Fils de Joie after my shower today. I had a vial of it in a batch of things I got somewhere, maybe in a split or sample order. Gaah! I about killed myself with two sprays. Skanky jasmine intensified by honey, I really stink big-time! It would take a big personality to carry this off.
Is Fils de Joie skankier than Smell Bent’s Prairie Nymph?
I’ve never smelled that one, sorry.
Gotcha. Thanks anyway!
That sounds like a lovely trip & splurge, Calypso. I never managed to see Santa Fe Opera either.
Monday, you know..
Mojave Ghost for the library today.
I was reading in a magazine that they are coming out with a solid perfume in this scent
I do know Mondays 🙂
https://www.thecoolhour.com/products/byredo-mojave-ghost-solid-parfum/
Wearing Mitsouko on this rainy morning. It’s been a bit cooler than usual here but that means it’s nice and green so I’m not complaining.
Mitsouko is wonderful!
Great scent!
Gorgeous!
I’m in Art Meets Art like a Virgin LE over glossier body hero lotion. I really like this orange blossom double up and I think it will smell great in the heat of summer.
After a terrible weather day Saturday we had the most perfect day yesterday. My son made an impromptu visit to get some stuff he’s been storing at home and ended up spending most of the day. The teen bailed in her friends to hang with her brother and the two of them ended up taking out the canoe for a few hours. Makes me so happy that they choose and enjoy spending time with each other.☺️
Anyone else get the email from Chanel about the upcoming no 5 L’eau limited edition?! Um yes please, sign me up!
Are you talking about the no 5 L’eau body lotion, hand lotion, etc.?
No, (I know about those), this was an email directly from Chanel “COMING SOON
LIMITED-EDITION N°5 L’EAU
Sign up to be among the first to discover the new limited-edition N°5 L’EAU.
A vibrant and fresh abstract floral fragrance. A scent that radiates citrus and aldehydes. A whirlwind of flowers, carried by vetiver, cedar and soft musk notes. All in a reimagined format.”
Exciting!🤩
Looks like there’s a link on their website to be notified of its release.
Okay. Thank you.
👍🏻😀
Signed up!
Woo hoo! I wonder when it will come out. Soon I hope! The waiting is the hardest part.🎶😅
Lalalalalalala, didn’t read about the LE No. 5 L’Eau! Sticking fingers in my ears too.
Hehe, but it sounds like it’s gonna be good Jalapeno!😉
Haven’t gotten in the shower yet and in the extreme drydown of Theorema. Had to call the vet to make an appointment for Sunny, the crazy chocolate Lab. The rumor of chocolate Labs being crazy is true. Sunny is incredibly loving though. Will be wearing unholy amounts of Lyric after my shower.
Loving but crazy sounds worth it!
Happpy Monday, if there is such a thing. I finished recovering the dining room chairs. Now for a couple coats of Scotchguard, then they are ready to use.
I’m in Salome from making my splits today!
Congratulations on the recovering completion.
Yay, good for you!
Quick drive by wafting Shalimar Body Crème from bedtime last night and a couple of spritzes of Shalimar MT this morning. Be well! Zoom-zoom!
Hope you are doing well, Deva, you certainly smell great.
Smelling good and I take it you are enjoying yourself.
Good to see you here, you smell great, I adore that MT flanker but my bottle lives in Provence.
Beep Beep, roadrunner! Good to hear from you.
Sunny and warm here today. SOTD is Dusita Splendiris. Love my iris.
Surprised that none of the iris lovers here have mentioned the Romance d’Iris that Zara has.
Have you tried it?
Nope. Iris can be rather temperamental on me.
I have read the reviews on it and although I love Jo Malone, this one didn’t sound that good to me.
Fair enough!
Just got my little house cleaned and I’m almost done washing blankets and winter coats before storing. It feels good but I’m ready to sit down! Wearing No 5 L’Eau right now, after a shower I’ll switch to Le Temps d’une Fete. That one is light enough that I will probably wear something else this evening, maybe Shalimar.
YAY for finishing up with the cleaning!
I went to the BBW sale and got 6 products for 16 dollars. Yay me! I switched out my fall/ winter bath products and used my watermelon products today. I don’t have a perfume to match with watermelon so sprayed ysl In Love Again because it’s a little fruity. ( like me! Lol)
I’m off to work, hope everyone has a good Monday!.
Hmmm…Watermelon perfume sounds nice. Let’s find one!
You shopped very wisely! $16? Impressed.
You smell great, I don’t have ILA because I have Noa l’Eau but if I ever finish my three bottles I would definitely consider ILA.
Yum watermelon:)
One of the Davidoff Cool Water Women perfumes had a watermelon note in it. I don’t really reach for my bottle of it.
Have you ever tried Dolce & Gabbana Anthology L’Imperatrice 3? That has watermelon. I used to wear it and liked it though some say they think it smell like bug spray. Not on me. I know they sell it at Sephora.
I went to BBW and stocked up a little too.
I have tried it. Unfortunately, it goes very sour on me. The same thing happens with light blue by them.
That one goes sour on me too – Light Blue.
I’m doing the cp already since there are so many great Prince songs. Today I’m pairing a perfume from 1999 with the song of the same title. I went with 10 Corso Como. I definitely wasn’t wearing it in 1999 though. If I had any, I’d wear Allure since I remember sniffing it at the department stores right after it was released. I think I got a bottle in 2000 or 2001 for Christmas.
Love Corso Como.
Good choice.
Me too. This reminds me to pull out my bottle, which I’ve had for years and don’t use enough.
10 CC is so plush.
I’m back to work after a very relaxing holiday weekend. I’m wearing a pink and gray jacket, so I’m wearing Plum, which I think of as a very pink perfume.
Nice weekend.
I caved. Not to Luckyscent, but Jomashop. Such a great deal on Roja Sweetie Aoud, that I have had eyeballs on since it came out.
On another purchase quandary, does anyone know where to find breathable, softish leggings for the summer?
Hope everything is great!
What do you think of jomashop? I’ve heard mixed reviews on the service.
I’ve ordered before and been very happy.
It does take forever, but shipping was free. And I’ve waited years for this perfume, I can wait a bit.
I buy from them all the time and never had a problem.
Alas, most of my leggings are for cooler weather. Stretch velvet and summer do NOT play nicely together.
I get all my leggings at Lululemon and Athleta, but they are more expensive than some of the stores. They just seem to fit me the best. They do have breathable and soft. I wear them quite a bit in the summer plus they have different lengths.
Thanks, Kris! I think there is an Athleta close by.
Feeling lazy and had avocado and lettuce for dinner so no smoothie tonight.
It was grey today but no rain at least, everything is very green because of copious amounts last month, so I went with my gourmand fig to fit the weather, Jo Loves Red Truffle 21 and tonight it’s Daim Blond, I usually layer it with AP l’Agent for more osmanthus but it smells so good on its own too.
I regret not getting Daim Blond when I could. By time I used up my sample it had disappeared from here.
Did you ever try Rihanna’s Rogue perfume? It’s close to Daim Blond.
I don’t think I have.
🥹 Oh, that’s disappointing, hope it comes back somewhere near you.
Hello from somewhere on the Atlantic! We are on our way to Nordfjordeid, Norway. The weather is very “wavy”. I think I will sleep well tonight although who knows what it will be like for travelers who want to see more of Norway!
SOTD = Chanel No.5 EDT
Here’s today’s dinner appetizer:
https://www.instagram.com/p/C7w_EZpxFDI/?igsh=MW94bTNiNjY2YjZyeg==
Looks delicious!
Been ages since I had escargot! 🐌
I didn’t know that is escargot. I take back my delicious! Lol.
LOL 🤣
No 5 edt is wonderful!
Sounds wonderful and can’t go wrong with Chanel No. 5. It has probably scented many ocean liners over the decades!
I’m wearing the original Kenzo Flower, from a cute mini splash bottle I got recently. It is a real comfort scent for me.
That’s a blast from the past! Enjoy the comfort.😊
Rabbited on June 01. Didn’t have any spare sets of rabbits this time, though.
Summer has decided to kick in the door and make its presence felt. Got up to 88 degrees today. Glad that I have plenty of ice cubes in the freezer for iced teas of all kinds.
Fav scented item for summer: Bliss’ Grapefruit and Aloe Body Butter. Perfect slightly sweet pink grapefruit scent for warm weather.
Kris: I tried the Fleur de Patchouli EdP from Zara yesterday. It’s a hit! Starts off quite floral and slowly morphs into a summer weight patchouli. I haven’t figured out what floral notes I’m getting yet. VERY pleased with this one!
SOTD = commando, but wearing the aforementioned grapefruit body butter on my shins.
I might have to get on the Zara train. Do they offer free shipping?
No free shipping from Zara. But both the perfumes I got were $40. Can’t beat that price, especially for 100mL.
Their stuff showed up rather quickly, too.
Ruh-roh!
You have me at Patchouili!
It’s quite pretty and solidly composed, too. Feels “finished”.
I hate to say it, but I was almost hoping you wouldn’t like it as I am eyeing that one and another Zara. LOL. However, I really don’t need anymore. The problem is they are so reasonably priced, and they do get them out very quickly.
I hear ya. The only other one I might be interested in seems to be out of stock, so my wallet is safe for now.
I wore Vanille Banane yesterday and today. It’s been perfect for the weather we’re having and keeping me on an even keel. We have my hubby’s parents with us for 3 weeks.
Aha, order another bottle stat!
I think you’re right, Robin!
Hey Gail!👋
Hi lillyjo!
