The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 9 October 2023 9 Comments

From Jo Malone's Festive Collection for 2023, the Ginger Biscuit candle: "Follow us into Gingerbread Land with the irresistible scent of just-baked spiced biscuit. Warming ginger and cinnamon melt into caramel and roasted hazelnuts". $82 for 200g at Jo Malone, also available in Orange Bitters (and you can find both in cologne too).

My bottle of Ginger Biscuits was from 2013 when it first came out! I have been saving it and surprisingly, the juice has not gone bad, but I have a feeling it will happen any day now… (I have a few JMs that turned from old age; my mum’s too.)
So this year I will be buying the big bottle of Ginger Biscuits.

You won’t regret it. The new version seems somewhat milder, but it’s pretty nice.

      That’s a decent shelf life.

I have JM colognes that are six years old and still going. Ginger Biscuit is great. I might get the Christmas Cologne Collection, because it has GB and other holiday scents that I’ve been curious about trying.

I need a candle like I need a hole in the head! The jar color is also crave-worthy.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but I noticed you didn’t really say no. 😉. Candles and soap are the two things I do not need more of, and the two things I always succumb to. La sigh.

Luckily for me that is not my color.

The candle version is nice, but it was, what over $100 in Canada? Do wish I’d sniffed the Orange Bitters candle.
