Posted by Robin on 8 September 2023 11 Comments

Earlier this summer, French niche line Divine launched L’été Fleur d'Orange, a new limited edition unisex fragrance for summer.

At DIVINE, a new creation has flourished
Presenting fleur d’orange, our ode to orange blossom.
A smile in a bottle! Perfect for embracing the return of sunny days and long evenings.

L’été Fleur d'Orange was developed by perfumer Yann Vasnier; the notes include bergamot, tangerine, neroli, orange blossom, ambrexolide and patchouli.

Divine L’été Fleur d'Orange is available now at Luckyscent in the US, $160 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Gosh, i can’t remember whether I tried this when I visited Divine in June. It was one of the Esprit Libre offspring, but it might have been the Orange Sanguine. I didn’t like it much, whatever it was, it reminded me of cleaning products. L’Esprit Libre itself I love.

I think it was the Orange Rouge I tried, I’m very tired and prone to misreading things.

In fairness, distinguishing btw Divine L’été Fleur de Orange and Divine Divine L’été Orange Rouge is a fresh as a daisy plus three coffees activity!

I was very surprised they used such a similar name.

I was even more surprised when Gaultier used the name Divine for their new fragrance!

Interesting, that doesn’t surprise me at all.

But I did have a typo in the name, Kevin just told me tonight and I fixed it 🙂

Still think the names are too close.
