Giorgio Armani has launched Sì Intense, a new(ish*) fragrance for women. Sì Intense is a flanker to 2013's Armani Sì.
In the new SÌ eau de parfum intense, our blackcurrant nectar is obtained not from the buds, but from the fruit, thanks to a unique extraction technique offering a very different, fruitier, and intense note. Both juicy and pulpy, blackcurrant nectar brings naturalness to the fragrance, and an addictive fruit nectar effect.
At the heart is a rose damascena absolute, which reveals the rose’s richest, most appealing facets, creating the fragrance’s dense, suave effect. This combines with davana essential oil notes, whose velvety, fruity note adds to SÌ eau de parfum intense floral sensuality.
The sensual trail of overdosed bourbon vanilla infusion from Madagascar, is sourced through a sustainable program designed to support local communities. The hint of black tea, sustainably sourced in India has smoky and herbaceous accents, elevating the vanilla signature of SÌ eau de parfum intense.
Giorgio Armani Sì Intense is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml refillable Eau de Parfum Intense.

*Sì Intense was originally launched in 2014 (in a black bottle). At some point it was reintroduced in a more ambery color, which as of this writing is still shown on the US Armani Beauty website. The notes for all three versions are similar but not identical.
This is one of those scents that should be right in my wheelhouse, but I find there has been something off-putting about the original and all the flankers of this. Maybe this new one will be cleaner, or better in whatever way my nose needs it to be to be likable…
I did not love the original but I didn’t hate it either. It’s probably changed by now…anyway, I do like the idea of the black tea in this one.
Me too. I’ve tried many versions of this and not liked any, despite my admiration for Cate.
Same.
During one of Ulta’s half-off sales last year I bought a travel size of SÌ since it was fifty p-percent off because I thought I liked it, but after wearing it more I found I don’t. It seems to be lacking something for me. But, perhaps an intense version is better. I think upping the blackcurrant and also the Madagascar vanilla and tea base notes will be an improvement.
Worth a shot then! and maybe you’ll find it half off too.
I haven’t liked any of the Si’s so far either, but this sounds promising. I like the outsized gold letters on the bottle. Hoping Sephora gets it.
