There’s nothing quite like moseying into a New York City diner for a juicy burger and crisp French fries, but have you ever been to a diner and been served … fragrance? Probably not. Chanel is taking over a diner in Williamsburg — 225 Wythe Avenue — to celebrate its nostalgic Chance fragrance.
— The Lucky Chance diner will be open in Brooklyn from September 8 through the 10th. Read more in Would You Eat Chanel Perfume? at The Cut, or make your reservation here.
For me, the answer to “Which version of Chance would you wear?” is “None of them!” so money and time saved. I might have a rather different answer if the question were instead “Which one of Les Exclusifs would you wear?”
A diner popup for Les Exclusifs is probably not going to happen 😉
“Nostalgic Chance?” Not only do I remember Chance being introduced as the Chanel for the younger generation (The bottle is round! Not like your grandma’s No. 5!), I remember when Cristalle was introduced when I *was* the younger generation! (The bottle is rectangular! Not like your mom’s No. 5! And it only comes in EDT, which is younger and fresher! Back when everyone I went to school with wore musk oil.)
I, too, would love a Les Exclusifs diner.
🙂
Hey, I would go to the Cristalle diner!
