4711 Lily of the Valley ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 April 2023 2 Comments

4711 has launched Lily of the Valley, a new addition to the 4711 Floral Collection.

The lovely delicate scent of 4711 Floral Collection Lily of the Valley stands for modern elegance and creamy softness. Citrusy in the opening, floral in the heart, woody in the base - this fragrance captivates with its harmony of refreshing transparency and enveloping texture. A fresh floral bouquet skillfully paired with a light aquatic note. A fragrance that refreshes body and soul and unfolds like a gentle veil on the skin.

***

“At the outset, this light, floral scent features notes that alternate between sweet, delicately green and citrusy. To suitably counter this fresh start, I created an elegant flower bouquet of lily of the valley, rose and freesia together with a hint of aquatic nuances. For more texture and lasting fragrance, the composition concludes with white musk, creamy sandalwood and pure cedar wood.” Lucas Sieuzac – perfumer for the 4711 Floral Collection Lily of the Valley

Additional notes include pear, bergamot and redcurrant.

4711 Floral Collection Lily of the Valley is available in 100 ml Eau de Cologne.

BUT IS IT AS GOOD AS DIORISSIMO?

I’m guessing not, especially now that Lilial is verboten. It might be interesting to see what an up-to-date LOTV scent is like.

Ha, nothing is as good as Diorissimo anyway.
