Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Ambre Tibet ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 9 February 2023 14 Comments

Late last year, French niche line Maître Parfumeur et Gantier launched Ambre Tibet, a new fragrance.

"Ambre Tibet" is a spiritual interpretation of the amber accord and a tribute to Asian highlands. This fragrance is an invitation to dream of a journey into the forbiden cities.

Saffron color fabrics, gold statues, mystic mandalas, textures, rich colors and the finest raw ingredients have inspired this new creation. The mystical notes of incense and sandalwood are blended with a floral-fruity accord of geranium and davana, with a soft and powdery dry down of amber, sandalwood and musks.

As any of our eaux de parfum at Maison Maître Parfumeur et Gantier, our magnificent bottle is covered by a golden cap decorated with a swarovski stone.

Additional notes include cistus, eucalyptus, rose, patchouli, smoky woods and vanilla.

Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Ambre Tibet is available in 120 ml Eau de Parfum.

This is a lovely presentation and the perfume sounds good, too. Is this the same house that usually puts out bottles with hideous (just my opinion!) plastic jewels all aver the cap? If so, they have certainly upped their game!

Yes! The older bottles have more hideous bottle tops but at least the body is red.

This one also has a hideous jewel! I think it is green. You can just see its tip above on the cap.

At least it’s more discreet than the old ones, which were monstrous.

Oh, I missed that. But still, a vast improvement.👍🏼

And the jewels tend to come out.

I was looking all over for this but can’t find a place in the US to buy. Maybe I will email Luckyscent.

First in fragrance has it in Germany. I don’t think it is widely distributed yet but would think anyplace that carries MPG will get it eventually.

Their shipping charges are too high unless you order a lot. Will see what Luckyscent says.

Didn’t Ava Luxe have a fragrance by that name? I seem to recall sampling it many MUA years ago.

Yes, she did. I think I still have some, maybe just a sample. I really like some of her ambers.
