Update: La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu was developed by perfumers Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo (both of whom worked on the original La Vie Est Belle).
For some reason, meh perfumes in pretty bottles make me think of the quote from I believe the King of Naples of his army: “Dress them up as you like, they’ll still run away”…
LOL!!!
Apparently they sell a bottle of La Vie every 30 seconds in France…so guessing they’ll be wearing this in Paris 🙂
I’ll bite and test this. My local Macys should have it at some point.
I’m sure.
I have never care for this scent. I used to work with a girl who must have bathed in it and it was absolutely suffocating. Thus, I have never took the time to seek out any of the flankers.
It really does have some sillage.
I’m curious about this one, being an iris lover. I like the opening of LVEB, but it just gets too sweet or too something after awhile. And it smells good on some people (the right chemistry, maybe?). But it’s always iffy if the flankers get carried in our local Dillard’s, Sephora or Ulta. I think some of them are European or duty-free exclusive.
