Mugler has launched Angel Elixir, a new flanker to 1992's Angel.
It’s the soul of Angel, reinvented. The Angel you don’t expect. A pure Elixir, expressing the augmented femininity of today’s fearless supra-women. Innocent yet powerful. Grounded yet extra-ordinary. Ultra-edgy yet embracing. With Angel Elixir, a new star is born. A totally original, woody floral gourmand scent that reinvents what makes Angel Eau de Parfum so unique.
Here, Angel’s signature indulgence turns into a floral Milky Way, captured in Mugler’s iconic star-shaped bottle, morphed into a captivating deep blue. A shimmering spark of metallic spices. An out-of-this-world, milky floral bouquet invented by Mugler. A nebula of luscious vanilla infusion, empowered by cutting-edge woody Amber Xtreme™. More than a fragrance, Angel Elixir is the catalyst to reinvent your reality. Because the real world is not enough…
Additional notes include pink pepper, orange blossom, ylang ylang, jasmine and sandalwood.
Mugler Angel Elixir is available in 25, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in a 100 ml refill.

Update: Angel Elixir was developed by perfumers Domitille Michalon-Bertier and Anne Flipo. There is also a 10 ml purse spray.
“Innocent yet powerful?” is not an appealing juxtaposition to me…I will sniff this, since it is apparently blue colored, but I don’t have high hopes…
I think they’re trying to keep the sillage of Angel without the patchouli (or at least, with much less patch). Might be interesting, might not.
Hmm. But, is it really blue? she wondered absently…. 🙂
It is blue as blue can be 🙂
Hm. Would like to try this if it comes to a local Sephora or Ulta.
I *love* that dark blue bottle. But am much less a fan of the listed perfume notes. I still would give it a sniff if (and that’s a big if) I saw it.
“Cutting edge woody Amber Xtreme” sounds suspiciously like ambroxan. Lol. Of course I will try it if I see it.
I hope I can smell this at Ulta since I never get anyplace else. The notes don’t sound like my kind of thing but I still want to try it.
” The Angel you don’t expect” would one that does NOT punch me in the nose. Even actually owning a Mugler (Supra Floral) I am very leering of anything coming out of this house. Okay, actually I mean “frightened”…
