If you did not snatch up the Abeille Noire Édition Prestige / Black Bee Prestige Edition of Guerlain Imagine, here's another chance to get a piece of French jeweler Lorenz Bäumer's work for Guerlain: La Secret de la Reine. The wings open if you press on the 2 carat pear-shaped diamond just below the "head", and then you can use a pipette to scent the honeycomb section. It is almost 3 inches long, and it can be worn as a brooch or pendant. Shown above in the rock crystal, white and yellow gold version, and below the jump in the onyx and white gold version. Both versions feature over 14 carats of diamonds.
I have no idea what they cost, and possibly they're already sold. You can read more at The Perfume Society, Luxe Packaging Insight or at the Lorenz Bäumer site.
Wow, that’s something! I’m in the much more pedestrian MFK Grand Doir.
Duh, Grand Soir!
As near as I can tell it does not actually come with any perfume, so you could buy it and put Grand Soir on it 🙂
No perfume?? I thought Le Secret de la Reine was the special perfume included, but I guess it’s the name of the piece. Wow.
I think so. But I am not 100% sure. (Ever, about anything.)
It is a bizarre trick of the mind that when I saw the picture here, knowing what it is, it struck me as gorgeous. If I saw a pin exactly like it at a store, I would have no interest in it whatsoever! No matter, not buying one either way.
I know just what you mean! I would never wear it.
I’m so curious as to who ever buys these expensivo limited editions, are they even perfumistas?
Although, those Mitsouko porcelain vessels(it was Mitsouko if I recall correctly) would certainly look spectacular in my collection!😉
I mean, someone is (apparently, presuming it’s not a fake) selling one on eBay for under a grand, so if you were determined to have it….
I always assume they are uber wealthy people buying status gifts.
