Robert Piguet has launched Zazen, a new unisex powdery fresh gourmand fragrance. Zazen is named for the practice of seated meditation.
A base of amber and musk lifts to reveal fresh, fruity aromas.
From his beginnings in couture to his enduring legacy in fragrance, Robert Piguet’s creations have all been defined by simplicity and elegance. With the Zazen eau de parfum, the House seeks to capture presence and tranquillity in a bottle through a fresh combination of notes such as mandarin oil, saffron and tonka bean.
Additional notes include apple, orange blossom, green violet, rice accord, musk and amber.
Robert Piguet Zazen is available now at Harrods in the UK, £185 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Another update: the description from Piguet...
Still and silent as if defined by mindfulness, Zazen is a fragrance of tranquility, a welcome pilgrimage toward calm and contentment. Effusing softly like the gentle sound of bamboo flutes, Zazen's accords meld seamlessly, quieting the mind and positing a moment of profound clarity.
From its heady top of saffron, Zazen imbues an Earthy warmth as it mingles with subtle tartness of mandarin and apple. The scent's heart is a silent explosion of rice, green violet, and orange blossom which immediately captures the wearer, delivering a sense of stillness and serenity. At its base, musk, tonka, and amber conjures a seductive skin-like smoothness.
