A lemming for fans of Guerlain L'Heure Bleue: a limited edition collector bottle for the perfume's 110th birthday, created in collaboration with the Yves Klein Archives. The 1.5 liter glass bottle of Parfum is entirely coated in International Klein Blue paint, applied by hand. 30 bottles were made, €15,000. You can read more at Vogue or Marie Claire (both in French).

Wow! This makes a very cool art object.
However, as a design for a bottle of this scent, it is all wrong. I mean, isn’t it? This is NOT the color of “the blue hour.” No….. that color must be softer and more, well, misty or mysterious. This is a color that SHOUTS.
True, but still love the color!
WANT! Yves Klein Blue is my absolute favourite colour. Now to find that spare €15,000…
Ha, good luck ockeghem!
As much as I love LHB, I am going to have to pass. I am gob smacked at the price for 50 ounces of parfum.
I am no longer gob smacked at the price of LE Guerlains, but yeah.
Hmmm, I’m skeptical of how this would hold up. Paint? I see flaking in the future, and at €15,000 that would chap my 🤬.
Gorgeous color though!
I am going to assume they’ve thought that through and they’re using something that will hold up, but I did not read every word of either article.
Trying to imagine a scenario in which I would EVER use 1.5 liters (!) of L’Heure Bleue (which I love, but my 100 ml will last my lifetime).
Serious eye candy there. Love the color and the size lol. One could even maybe get it engraved..if the paint coat allows. Or paint on an extra message or initials..all customized:). Might as well for that money. Yeah, guessing they put a fixative on the paint..can’t see a 15k bottle flaking.
Checking bank account…turns out I can’t afford it.
