Chopard Bois Nomades, Patchouli de Sumatra & Santal Odeyar ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 10 June 2022 3 Comments

French house Chopard will launch three new wood fragrances, Bois Nomades, Patchouli de Sumatra and Santal Odeyar, in its Gardens collection (see Gardens of the Tropics, Gardens of Paradise and Gardens of the Kings). The focus of the new trio, developed by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Dora Baghriche, is on ethical sourcing and sustainability.

Bois Nomades (above center) ~ joining Gardens of the Kings, with cinnamon, black pepper, hookah accord, clove, rose, cedar, oud, frankincense, cypriol, myrrh, opoponax and styrax.

Patchouli de Sumatra (above right) ~ joining Gardens of the Tropics, with bergamot, kaffir lime, sweet orange, juniper, cardamom, clary sage, patchouli and geranium.

Santal Odeyar (above left) ~ joining Gardens of Paradise, with bergamot, mandarin, pear, mango, orange blossom, jasmine, rose, sandalwood, cistus and benzoin.

Chopard Bois Nomades, Patchouli de Sumatra and Santal Odeyar will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I want to sniff anything Alberto lol. The colors are great. I would like the cobalt and emerald ones to have the colored caps instead of the gold ones. The Bois one sounds interesting..not sure about hookah accord..probably just a smoke accord but not really a fan of the smell of hookahs or hookah lounges. I also wish oud wasn’t in there lol.

The caps match the prior collections they are joining, so too late now 🙂

I like the matching caps better too.
