It's (teapot-less, since we are powering through with Hilma af Klint) Tuesday, plus World Intellectual Property Day. Birthdays: Eugène Delacroix, Frederick Law Olmsted, Ma Rainey, IM Pei, Carol Burnett. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Hermès Kelly Caleche (Eau de Toilette) for Hilma af Klint, The Ten Largest, No. 5 and 6, the first of the four paintings which represent adulthood. With no real justification, I think of these two as your late 20s into your late 40s: adult, sure, but maybe not yet creaky knees and whatnot? Tea at the moment is my chilly weather blend of Season's Pick Assam GFOP Organic from Upton + cacao husk + milk + nutmeg.
Reminder: on 4/29 we're doing Picture Challenge, edition 7: Hilma af Klint, The Ten Largest. Wear a perfume that matches the picture(s) of your choice from this series that depicts the stages of life. (There is lots more information on this challenge here.)
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2022, where I'll try (but obviously sometimes fail) to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
I’m not doing the af Klint whole week, but it happens that what I chose to wear today matches up nicely with those two bright-orange paintings: Mugler A*Men Ultra Zest, a recognizable version of the original scent overlaid with a shimmery veil of citrus notes.
Sounds perfect.
I’m wearing Baghari today and loving the crisp starchy aldehydes. We are back to cold gray April but at least it’s not raining. Is anyone still shopping in store for groceries? I got hooked on Kroger grocery pick up during the pandemic and plan on doing it forever, that’s where I’m headed this morning. Have a good day everyone 🌸
Maybe I’m the exception – I like to pick my own groceries, even the dry goods.
I’m with you. Especially produce!
I don’t think you are the exception. I see a lot of us in the stores. I like to pick out my own things as well.
I like to pick my own too. Plus I like finding random surprises and seeing new things to try.
I do! and I buy almost everything else in person as well. I’m WFH permanently and while I always enjoyed shopping before, I now feel entirely dependent upon it for day-to-day interactions with real people rather than endless screens. I feel like it keeps my manners in good condition, but I know I have become a very chatty customer, so hmm, I wonder what the shop workers think of my “good manners”… 🤣
Ha, ho, DolceVita, I hear you – I worry my chattiness has given some grocery store workers a “there’s that lady again” moment. I do keep to just a *brief* expansion of pleasantries, really!! On the other hand, the wine steward at our Kroger can get quite chatty, and sometimes I wonder if he does not have enough to do, given how short of help the store is overall!
Oh this made me smile MossyBerry! Yes, I worry sometimes that I may have too much, eh, personality, for some stores – but then some sales assistants really are so talkative (regardless of how busy the shop is or how long the queue) that I hope it all balances out in some way, with lots of goodwill all round!
Yes! to goodwill 🙂
Mr. G does our grocery shopping (he’s thrifty, and the way I shop makes his head explode 🤣), and he much prefers to choose his own items while keeping an eye out for deals. Coupons are a big thing for him too. His biggest peeve is the trend toward self-checkout — those machines seldom work as they’re supposed to. Not that I would know, spoiled as I am! 🥴
I can see the appeal of the pickup, and know some like you who will never go back. Our store always has in-store shoppers at work and rows of bins at the pick up lane. Years ago, when poor students, Mr. Mossy and I used the weekly shopping trip as a sort of date. That habit continues; we always shop together. Also, I love to see what’s new and don’t like to follow a rigid list.
My husband and I do the weekly shopping together as well. We love it. I give my husband a list and I take a list plus we each take our own cart. He stays with his list, but I don’t. I always find something else I think I need.
I loved not doing the grocery shopping for a year+, BUT not the produce or the cheese. I mostly shop myself now, but I sometimes do a hybrid…I have someone else gather everything but the produce, and run in and do the produce myself.
I never stopped going into the grocery store to do my shopping. I prefer it that way. Starting next month, though, I will have to remember to bring reusable shopping bags since my state has a ban on the single use ones beginning in May.
Mr. Jalapeno does all the shopping at Costco. That’s his place.
I never was able to get the pick up groceries to work – we were living in a very small city when the pandemic started, and the wait time to get pick up groceries would have led us to serious hangry/ empty pantry moments. Now I like going in to choose produce.
I’m in VCA Bois d’ Iris. It’s another dreary day here. Blah. I do see the sun trying to pick out of a sliver in the clouds. C’mon sun!🌞 Hoping it stays dry for a few days, I’m having my car detailed while I’m at work today. I just love getting into a freshly cleaned car.
At least you are facing the dreariness in an elegant perfume.
We’ve had a few intermittent rays but it’s dark and dreary here too.
Smelling fabulous!
I’m wearing Black Iris, a perfume oil from the most recent Alkemia spring sample set. It doesn’t really smell of anything. Usually Alkemia is quite good, but this is not. I will hunt around my desk for something else.
Oh no, too bad! Black Iris sounds so nice, too.
Mint tea
Jersey for volunteering at the 📚
Perfect choice! Hope your volunteering session goes well today.
It was good day at the library.
Love, “Mr Bookman” 😉
🙂
I laughed so much when I read this discussion the other week, that episode was unforgettable!
I’m at the office again today, in a cloud of Diorissimo thanks to socks. My whole department is here today for a meeting, so I wore a bit more than I needed to. Keep away people!
Stopped by the mall last night and tried two new(?) Jo Malone colognes – Aqua Lemon and Forest Moss. I hadn’t heard about these (maybe they are re-releases?) AL disappeared before I had time to get outside and sniff it without my mask on, so no notes on that one.
The FM is described on the website as juniper, geranium, and moss — that’s fair but it felt very restrained. Like you are strolling on a paved path through a forest and sniffing this while keeping your shoes clean. I prefer forest scents where it smells like you are hiking on an overgrown trail.
Tea today is Twinings English Breakfast — my standby bagged tea for traveling. Not exciting, but comfortingly familiar.
Thanks for the JM report! Also at the office today, in MM L’Attesa. Should be the only person around, but was cautious with the spritzing anyway.
L’Attesa is very muted on me (or at least to my nose) so I have been spraying on quite a bit when I wear it. Wonder if it’s bigger than I think? I’ll be more careful next time! You smell wonderful.
I think one of JM’s hallmarks as a brand is restraint, which is fine for what it is, but it does get a bit predictable and boring. Her scents always know what utensil to use when you have a place setting with 9 pieces of silverware. Mannerly, but a bit stilted. I do have a FB of Myrrh & Tonka, which is lovely but certainly demure.
Oh, what a perfect description of JM! 🙂
You know it’s strange, but I went down the rabbit hole when I first tried JM scents and now I rarely wear them anymore. I keep a few, but I agree with Deva that they are getting a little boring.
Ditto! Tried so many, loved them all, bought and wore a treasured orange blossom cologne but that was years ago now and I haven’t so much as looked at a JM in about ten years, never mind sniffed one. Hmm, maybe I should go back for an adventure…but there are so many more interesting things to try first!
That’s just it. I am finding so many others that I like better.
You smell wonderful! My lilies of the valley have just started to bloom in the last day or two.
That JM Forest Moss sounds rather nice!
Hello!
Sotd is J’adore L’Or.
Weather forecast says thunderstorm coming this afternoon and rain till the end of tomorrow. Ew.
Robin can I please have some of your amazing tea?
It is easy to make, although not always easy to source organic cacao husks (nibs are easy to find, husks not always). And of course if you drop by I will make you a cup 🙂
SOTM is Chanel Sycomore, just because. Scent of the afternoon will be teak oil, as I tackle the annual (ok, I don’t really get to it as often as I should, so it’s a semi kinda annual) re-oiling of the teak adirondack chairs.
I love the smell of teak oil 🙂 It reminds me of our first fancy furniture purchase: a beautiful wooden bar we purchased close to a decade ago. You smell great now, and will later, too!
You smell really good!
Sycomore is lovely.
Oh dear, I need to do that. Offhand not sure if I did it last year either.
In Iris Torrefie today in the hopes of fitting into Adulthood 5 & 6, but it’s the wrong color/texture, unfortunately. Ah well, I still smell great.
I’m working from home because I’ve got a vicious, phlegmy cough (which also kept me up all night so I shouldn’t be driving or biking to work anyway), and a terrible headache from the coughing. I’ve been tried everything: honey/lime/ginger tea, cough drops, Dayquil, Robitussin, Mucinex, Sudafed (the real stuff!)–but it just won’t go away. Any ideas? This is getting unbearable.
Yikes. Have you tried inhaling steam with just boiling ginger pieces with water? I would do a big enough pot, boil, take the pot off the stove, wear a damp towel over your head that also covers the sides of your face. I’ve also heard that using a neti pot on the regular prevents these episodes. Good luck!
I have tried the steaming pot! It does give temporary relief, but doesn’t help me sleep through the night 🙁 You’re right, though, I should get back into the Neti Pot habit….
Hot toddy! (but maybe not until after work)
Hahaha 🙂 good idea. I have not tried that one!
Ugh, hope you are better soon Koyel!
Thank you, Robin 🙂 me tooooo!
Hot showers with plenty of eucalyptus soap or shower gel?
Ah, good idea–maybe that will help clear things up!
I don’t have any suggestions, but I hope you feel better soon!
Thank you, sistine!
Have you tried Benadryl or any allergy medications? I thought I had the worst cold one summer and tried every cough medicine I could think of. Couldn’t get any sleep for weeks due to the constant coughing. I finally tried allergy medicine and it finally stopped. I didn’t know I even had allergies until then.
Good thinking 🙂 my mother had the same idea, so I did try a Zyrtec yesterday. Sadly, it didn’t help 🙁
Inspired by Vee’s post, I just spritzed SSS Forest Walk. This is perfect for spring as well because there’s a floral bit in there, playing peek-a-boo with the leaves and needles of trees and conifers.
All the flowers “downtown,” are blooming and the bursts of color are a delight to the eyes after 4 months in the desert (which is beautiful in its own way).
Lovely morning, though it’s supposed to turn to rain this afternoon again. Had a productive morning in that I made a nice veggie omelette, fixed my wonky Lagun Table Mount, and toasted up some lovely sour dough bread I purchased downtown yesterday to go with my eggs. I will savor every slice because it was $9 for a loaf!
No plans for today except R&R as we are packing up to leave tomorrow to head to the Olympic Peninsula for a bit.
Hope everyone has a great week! ✌🏼
Enjoy you R&R Deva! That sounds like a lovey day.
Safe travels (again) Deva!
That sounds like a wonderful day. I hope your travels go smoothly.
SOTD = Love, by Kilian, don’t be shy Extreme
Love Love ❤️! I’m sure it matches one of the panels. If not, there’s something wrong with the paintings. 🤣
I read a most disturbing article in The NY Times. It’s about a person who wants to tell you all about his happy marriage to a fictional character. I’ll post the link but you may be stopped with a pay wall. The article included a reference to shops that cater to this sub-genre of people who would rather interact with fake characters vs. real life people. Said ships not only sell clothes and the like but also perfumes that remind you of the character! How neat … and also disturbing 😳!
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/24/business/akihiko-kondo-fictional-character-relationships.html
In other news, I’m upgrading to an iPhone 13 mini. I know the iPhone 14 is supposed to come out in September but I am leveraging a pretty good trade-in discount ($700) to get the new phone. I am the main account holder so all 4 of us (one sister, BIL and nephew) are also upgrading. I need to figure out what I need to do extra for work and also get an adjustment for corporate employee discount. We will not get the phones until Thursday and we have 30 days to activate it. Not sure what happens if we don’t 🤔…
I have an 11 and was going to upgrade as well, but I think I’ll wait for the 14. I think there’s supposed to be some improvement in the camera, bettery life, etc. What model do you have now?
Mine is an 8 (PRODUCT)RED. I held out to get that but who knows if the Red products are still a thing?
Yes, I had that exact one before I upgraded to my eleven. I enjoyed the red because there weren’t many color choices then.
We’re all getting the Forest Green!
LOL! Not surprised about the color choice for you! 💚
If people can’t see the article in the NY Times they can Google it as it is on other sites. I read it yesterday and thought it was weird too. I can’t even imagine, but apparently it makes him happy.
The NYT article reminds me a bit of the movie Lars and the Real Girl, which I found unexpectedly moving.
Yes.
‘Tis true!
Please report back on how you like the 13. I’m in a similar situation with an 8 and bunch of trade-in credits that will expire before the 14 comes out, so I’m thinking hard about the 13.
I got my 13 mini about a month ago, after two years with the newer SE (I think it had the brains of the 9 with a worse camera?), and it’s great. I love having a smaller phone, and the display is beautiful. Great battery life, camera is better too. The facial recognition works even with mask (eh, usually). There is nothing I miss about the older phone.
I do like smaller phones and I am looking forward to choosing a case for it. That said, a colleague said he has the 12 but never turned on facial recognition. He has a Security background. I guess I will find out. My warped mind thinks how can it be secure if I am lying unconscious (sleeping hopefully) and someone decides to turn on my phone with facial recognition?
I can tell you mine recognizes me and opens my phone even when I have have sunglasses and hiking hat on. No joke. I miss the home button. The next phone I use will have facial ID turned off.
Will do!
Seconding Vee’s request. I’m another 8 user and am hesitant about facial recognition instead of the home button — would appreciate hearing how that change goes for you.
I just described my experience over the past month with the 13 mini above 🙂 highly recommend!
I will. And it looks like koyel gave it a thumbs up 👍!
I’ve only recently started using an Android phone, so I don’t really have any input for Apple products, sorry.
Better than a flip-phone 🤣
Hey, I loved my razor! 🥰🤣
I actually had a flip phone from 2001 to 2004. Not a Razr, though.
I didn’t get my first phone until 2003 and it was a flip phone.
I had to read a different article but I find the whole thing disturbing ( and that’s truly the nicest way I can describe my feelings)
The background colors on today’s photos made me think of Balenciaga Le Dix, so I might go with that in a while. For now I’m in tiny spritzes of vintage Cabochard EDT, from a very kind NSTer.
Ooh Le Dix is a great choice:)
My parents leave for California tomorrow, just have to get them to the airport at an ungodly hour. Wearing L’heure de Nuit today. Have 8 candles that I am going to be using up, 2 that are being given away. It will be fabulous if I can use up more than 8.
Why are flights always so early?? Good luck tomorrow!
Enjoy the candle party! It will be so pretty with the candlelight in your house.
I’m in Art Collection No. 08 again, just because it’s so easy — to find, to wear, to feel good in. There are times that I feel like really pondering on the perfect scent to wear, but this morning wasn’t one of them. 🙂
A no-brainer is good to have on hand 🙂
Love those “easy” perfumes.
SOTD is Byredo Pulp. I always find this kind of a strange scent and wonder if people think I smell odd. If so, I’m ok with that! LOL
Pulp is a fun scent! I like that it messes with people’s expectations.
😊
Well I think you smell great, and I also think you match paintings No. 3 and No. 4.
I think you may be right Robin. I wasn’t even trying to match the painting, but I do believe that 3 and 4 would work.
Pulp is strange! But I agree with Vee that it is also fun. A travel size in that one would be perfect, since I can’t see using up even a 30mL bottle.
I agree, but I do have a bottle of it.
Hello everyone! In SL Nuit de Cellophane today (it seemed an amusing and hopeful choice for 7 o’clock this morning) but have switched to Amor Amor for the evening. Enabler pin to Aurora!
Robin your point about twenty years reminded me of a saying from an old Irish-language memoir, it goes something like 20 years a-growing, 20 years in bloom, 20 years a-stooping, 20 years declining. I am not implying that anyone is stooping or declining (this was written nearly a hundred years ago about a poor peasant community) but boy do I feel like my bloom has passed. Also, I feel I have more growing-up to do, even at this stage! So maybe not the best ditty to have in mind today 😆
Oh thanks, delighted that you are enjoying it, it’s so cheerful.
It is exactly that, cheerful, but not thin or flat and so it really feels like something. I’m enjoying it so much – thank you again!
Oh, interesting, I like that! I am sure it is just imposing my own similar thinking on the paintings, but I see a difference between 5&6 and 7&8, which just seem a little more faded and subdued (also, who knows how accurate the lighting is for these, so I do realize it might all be in my head).
Also, yes, I have come to realize I might never feel all grown up despite how old I am!
So I’m at the stooping-stage of life….should I be depressed about that as well?Lol!!
Turning 46 in June,I’m settling in nicely in my 40’s actually!Haha!
✌🏻🌹
I just turned 46, so we can stoop together! And I feel very comfortable about where I am, so I’m happy to be in my stooping period.
Get off my lawn, you dang kids! 😜
Sotd Rose Water Trader Joe’s for a nice spritz of something to try and fight this desert climate lol. I stopped using it for a bit and my skin shriveled up lol.
Been into iced hot chocolates for a while. I order a hot chocolate, then dump it on ice, which some say that it is essentially a chocolate milk but I think otherwise for whatever reason haha.
Got mystery boxes shipped out and got some discounted Easter chocolate too. Left over solid bunnies..with no ears now as I have eaten them lol
I love rose water spritzed on the face 🙂
Also, so satisfying to eat the ears first!
I got half price Reese’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs (the flatter ones). I think the stores are wising up to not overstocking!
I don’t really “get” the artwork this time, though it’s interesting, and I like the concept. I’m doing “childhood” today in Atelier Lemon Island, chosen because it is my son’s favorite. It’s pretty and carefree but not too deep, like the best of childhood.
I enjoy abstract art but I only like a few of her works. Mainly the portraits, which were well done. I am more into Impressionist works.
I like her works but there’s something a bit off-putting about them. It may be because, when you read more about her, you find she had some sort of specific vision and “system.” I feel this comes across in the degree of coolness and control in her paintings, even the ones with fun colors and curlicues and floral aspects. They are all still very neat and design-y, without a true sense of flow. It winds up being a bit cramped. But the colors are really marvelous and subtle (again, bearing in mind we are only seeing reproductions that might be way off).
I see what you mean. I don’t remember hearing about her before and I appreciate the fact that I guess she was one of the first to do abstract art? Which is pretty cool. I took a Women in Art class at one time and I don’t remember her name pop up, though her black and white works look somewhat familiar. In the class, there was a lot of emphasis on Georgia O’Keefe and Khalo.
I have tried to do a mix of artworks over the course of these projects, because yeah…not everybody is going to like all of them! If you don’t feel like doing the project, don’t…nobody should ever apologize for not doing a project.
Oh gosh, I hope my comment didn’t come across as critical of the selection. As with perfume—there’s something for everyone!
Not to reply for anyone lol but it certainly didn’t come across that way to me! When an art student, we would have critiques..not everyone would enjoy or get the vibes of the same works of art and that is all part of it:). Art is supposed to be critiqued. And if we all had the same preferences..it would be really boring. Like..I don’t get still life fruit bowls..but for some, they are awesome I guess? haha.
I didn’t read it that way. It’s just not your thing. I can totally respect that POV.
The Friday cp’s are always fun and interesting, and just because this cp’s artwork really does not speak to me does not mean I’m not wearing perfume or coming around to say “Hey y’all!!” anyway!Haha!
XO’s
Ack, no, you didn’t sound critical, sorry if I sounded defensive! I just always want people to ignore the projects they don’t like 🙂
I ordered some clothes online from the same store I used once before as everything fitted me. In particular a black fur lined hoodie which is so warm, so I bought a second one in red.
I spent the day in Caron Eau de Réglisse faintly present now and spritzed some Réminiscence Héliotrope this evening.
I ordered a pair of jeans in the exact same size as a pair I’d bought from the brand 2 weeks earlier…NOPE, had to exchange for another size. Grrr.
Fur lined hoodies sound fun!
I learned long ago that I can’t buy jeans online. I have to do it in-person and on my person! 👖
That’s frustrating that brands cannot stick to a standard size in their manufacturing.
I didn’t know I needed a fur lined hoody but now I leave in it.
I now need a fur lined hoodie!
😃 I didn’t know I needed one but I wear it so much.
I’m wearing Safran Troublant this morning. It’s one of those intermittently rainy days, not dry enough to walk far before the next rain burst comes in. So I will stay indoors today.
Ooh, that reminds me to get my bottle out of the cupboard. I haven’t worn it in ages and it strikes me as potentially a good “correlate” of one or two of this week’s CP paintings.
Trying YR Comme une Evidence Eau de Parfum today…described as a Chypre Floral on their website and that seems right…I get lily of the valley, rhubarb, rose and patchouli w/ some musk.
This was fleeting so now I am trying B&BW Cacao Rose which is nicer than expected. I get a powdery, green kind of tart rose w/ some sweetness/chocolate.
I have to try this. I am back to buying foamy soaps I don’t need.
😁 I hear you. I needed hand sanitizer and this helped get me to free shipping.😆
Sun struggling to peek through the clouds, with intermittent showers. When will the weather finally improve? My back yard is a swamp.
Wearing Scents of Wood Cypress & Oak, purchased with foxbins last Friday. Very calm & soothing.
I have so many now that I don’t even remember what it smells like!
There is an estuary on the peninsula near my town and at this time of year the fur seals use it as a safe “nursery” for the young while the adults go hunting at sea. So, yesterday I went out and watched baby fur seals playing in the shallow water: chasing and leaping like dolphins out of the water. It was windy and cold but an amazing sight. They were frolicking and that lifts the spirits.
I wanted to wear a visionary, “before it’s time” perfume. Something modern for the CP. I was thinking aldehydes. But then I got distracted and sprayed A Drop ( Miyake) which also works, I think.
I would love to join you and watch the baby seals. That sounds incredible.
Oh, I like that way of looking at the cp!
And baby seals, what fun.
Hermessence Vetiver Tonka
Yum.
Half way to the next weekend already – I love short working weeks! Tea for Two is calling out to me today.
Can’t beat a short week!
Lolita Lempicka edp. It’s working so well on a very cool but gorgeously sunny day. Insolence edt did that for me yesterday. I think the LL script and apple goes with today’s af Klint No. 5 in a graphical way, but I don’t sense internal resonances.
Any way that you can think of garners points 😉
Plus you smell wonderful!
Wearing SL Bois de Violette today, which goes with the background of the paintings (I have a violet upstairs that’s about that colour) and with the 20s-40s idea Robin had. I started going down the rabbit hole in my early 30s, and this is one of the first FBs I bought.
It’s spring here, for sure — which means highs of 10C (that’s 50F) and mostly rain with the very occasional sunny break. I have a bunch of plants that need to move outside, but it’s not quite that time yet. (For example, there’s a huge tomato towering over my desk, but nighttime temperatures have to get warmer before it can be planted.) Another couple of weeks in my office jungle, I guess.
I stubbornly moved a mandevilla outside over the weekend, and it is probably going to die because I refuse to acknowledge the crappy weather.
Grey day today, and waiting for the rain to come in. Yet another load of dishes done today.
SOTD = Colony Heritage Collection EdP again. I figured out that one of the notes I smell in this is vetiver. It’s still a quiet and well mannered scent that hints of a tropical getaway but prefers to keep that info to itself.
I thought it was going to rain at mid-day but thank God it didn’t. I got ummmm, a shipment of something that’s not perfume…
Turned out that it had just started raining for me right as I was posting. 🙄☔
Hope that your “not perfume” shipment arrived safe and dry!
Your sotd sounds nice. Is it masculine leaning?
It is solidly unisex. Not getting a barbershop vibe or anything like that from it at all.
Definitely sounds nice then. I really can’t take the barbershop smell.
Happy Tuesday!
SOTD San Francisco Rose from April Aromatics. Some of you might know the story behind this beautiful perfume, and I will always think of Tama and Buster whenever I wear it.
XO’s
I think this went through muling as well!
Haha.Yup yup.😈
I had forgotten about that one! So glad it is beautiful.
Carnation-like patchouli-rose,giving me all the good vibes!
🙂
I’m wearing Lavender Extreme today. I think the colors of today’s picture matches this scent.
Perfect.
I’m wearing Pacifico by Snif today.
Reasons I’m glad to be leaving teaching at the end of the year part infinity…. Today we had both a bomb threat and a lockdown due to threats of an active shooter. Done, done, done.
Geeze Louise! I’m glad you are safe!
Thanks. I am too. It was a scary afternoon.
Sistine, I completely get it. Sometimes I think I am done with this WORLD! It’s very distressing, and I’m glad you’re ok in the physical sense. I’m sure you’re still shook in the emotional sense, though. There something to be said for being remote educator these days…
O.M.G! That’s horrible! Glad to hear that you are safe.
Holy macanoli! Glad you are ok, sheesh!
Wow, that is just outrageous, for everybody concerned. So sorry sistine.
I am joining others in outrage and sorrow and am so sorry that you have to deal with this while you’re trying to help kids to learn.
Hectic!
Glad you are “OK”!
🌹🤗
Oh this is terrible – I am so glad you are safe, and I hope everyone else is okay too. And you had that sorrow last week as well – Sistine, I hope the end of this school year comes as quickly and peacefully as possible for you.
Very sorry to hear this too and hope today is a much better day.
My sotd was Do Son. I’m wearing Cartier Le Baiser Du Dragon now though. I am going though my samples and decants trying to catch up with the swapmeet. I totally forgot I had this one. Yay me! I smell great!
I haven’t smelled the Cartier, but Do Son is fabulous.
Well, you sound so fancy all the way around! The “dragon” part really does it for me though! Who wouldn’t want a perfume with “dragon” in its name? 🐲
Your evening perfume is a very cuddly dragon indeed!
I love Alberto Morillas forever for Baiser Du Dragon. And I love him for other ones too but this one is truly a gem imo.
