It's Friday (at last) and Earth Day (the 2022 theme: Invest In Our Planet). Our community project for today: wear a fragrance with a narcissus note, if you have one.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I went with Vanille & Narcisse, from L'Occitane's 2013 La Collection de Grasse. My aged sample is now more vanilla than narcissus, but I tried.
Reminder: on 4/29 we're doing Picture Challenge, edition 7: Hilma af Klint, The Ten Largest. Wear a perfume that matches the picture(s) of your choice from this series that depicts the stages of life.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2022, where I'll try (but obviously sometimes fail) to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

I’m in Complicated Shadows by 4160 Tuesdays, listed as having notes of “Sandalwood, Shade, Narcissus, Iris and Irony.” It’s so subtle and beautiful, I wish I would have bought a larger bottle! Otherwise my favorite narcissus scent is Roberto Greco Porter Sa Peau.
Gearing up to go on my first vacation in many many years, a post-divorce jaunt through Central Europe (Poland), leaving next week. Will be doing much fragrance buying!
Have a safe and fun vacation!
Enjoy the trip!
What fun…enjoy!
(And love the description of your scent.)
Have a wonderful trip! You smell great.
Have a safe and wonderful trip! Envying you a bit, as my heritage is Polish and I have never been, hoping one day to get there and explore the villages of my grandparents.
Yes you should definitely go! I always hear that people love visiting Central Europe over the more popular Western Europe locations too.
I hope when you return you will report back on what you’ve enjoyed the most.
Have a wonderful trip!
Have a great trip, hope you go home with suitcases full of perfume!
Hope your trip is a fun one! Safe travels.
Have a wonderful trip!
I had every intention of wearing Guy Laroche Fidji today but the Aura bottle caught my eye, so I chose it instead.
Looking forward to the swap meet! I have always used electrical tape over nozzles and decants for mailing and would like to try parafilm, can anyone recommend some from Amazon? There’s a lot of choices. Thanks!
A different recommendation: plumbers thread seal tape. Works really well and you can even find it at hardware stores or Home Depot.
Thanks! I’ll support my local hardware store.
I buy parafilm off ebay but all of the ones I’ve bought have been fine.
Electrical tape, never used that but have seen several decants where ppl used that and it had slid off. I also get parafilm from the bay..haven’t had any complaints thus far.
Ostara from a decant. I sometimes wish I had bought a bottle, and then realize I have had this decant for several years and it will probably last for several more.
Figured Ostara would make a showing today!
Jumping in early today to say hi, and playing along with the CP in TF Jonquille de Nuit. The name says jonquil, but the notes say hyacinth. I probably couldn’t tell the difference, and it doesn’t matter – I love this one!
Wishing everyone a great weekend!
Hey AnnE!
Hey Robin! Do you have nicer weather today?
Yes, thank you…felt like a normal spring day instead of the unusually cold weather lately.
You smell lovely AnnE!
Thanks, lillyjo!
Hope that you have a great weekend as well, AnnE!
As, thanks, Jalapeno!
I went literal with Soliflore Narcissus from Dame. Pretty.
Nice — literal always works 🙂
House twins, but not participating in the CP today. I do love his fragrances.
Hi, twin! I agree, very pretty!
I own nothing narcissus-y or even narcissus-adjacent, although I did own a small bottle of the immense Chloe Narcisse back in the day, and it was just as narcotic as it should be. Today I’m in one of my standbys, Old Spice, which for good reason has been around for the better part of a century: it’s wonderful.
Yep, you smell great.
a great classic, sadly i don ´t smell it any more on men
Old Spice is never a bad choice. Love, love, love it. You smell great!
Old Spice is divine.
Le Temps d’une Fête for me. I don’t know how I never realized that there’s a narcissus note in it; now that I’m looking for it, it’s hitting me in the face. I guess this is one where I’ve always liked the whole of the composition, without really thinking hard about the notes.
Funny how that happens!
Found my mini of Chloe Narcisse for the CP today. This is a kitchen sink frag, and it is ancient, so I’m getting more stone fruit than narcissus, but that’s OK. I’d love to hunt down a fb of this and the Lagerfeld Chloe, but I worry about how those old bottles were stored. I guess that is always the risk of vintage.
On the other arm, to guarantee some narcissus, I’m trying Hermes Narcisse Blu, thanks to katsura. I get a dominant, savory soup/bay leaf note in this one, but I had a sinus exam this morning, so maybe my sniffer is off.
Had to wake up early for my doctor’s appointment; drinking pu’er to compensate for the lost hour of sleep. The beautiful weather is helping.
I had a bottle of Narcisse long ago and used it all. You smell wonderful!
Sorry about the lost sleep. I hope the tea helped.
A sinus exam sounds really uncomfortable. I’m getting the willies just thinking about it. Hope it all turned out OK.
Nah, those cameras are so tiny that it’s no big deal. Especially now, after doing countless Covid nasal swab tests. The most difficult part was trying not to sneeze on the doc.
Alert;
DAwn Spencer Horowitz, the dean of Indie perfumers, and creator of about billions of scents, from retro elegance to new age is having a flash sale.
I have no business or other connection, but do intend to make purchases of scents sampled.
I am in London Prosady’s Jacinto Jonquinth. It has a sharp first moments, and then settles into a very green spring floral. A good alternative to muget for those early spring longings for something light and lovely.
Thanks for the heads up, am considering a large size of The Absinthe Drinkers…
Hello and TGIF!
Sotd and CP points in Youth Dew. Love it.
Every time I think of narcissus I think of Ostara, one of the perfume that got away. I have been meaning to buy it then it got discontinued then hard to find.
Currently drinking osmanthus oolong to continue the floral theme.
Oh! Thank you for mentioning this, I didn’t realise I had a CP-friendly perfume in my house but I do love Youth Dew (I tend to wear it without analysing it – I’m always just so happy to be in it) so I will put it on now for the evening ?
Yay! 😀
L’Artisan Mont de Narcisse.
I was in between Mont de Narcisse and Caron Montaigne for today’s project. Tough choice, but went with MdN.
Happy Friday !
I have not sniffed this still. Darn. What’s your take on it?
Sotd is Parfums Delrae Wit – from a sample and like many of you, I wished I’d bought a FB back in the day. But like the fleeting nature of Spring, I will enjoy this beauty while it lasts.
I do so regret never even having tried Wit, it seemed so lovely just from the notes and Parfums DelRae was such an excellent perfume house. I’m sure you smell wonderful!
🙂
Eating Grape Nuts and a banana with my scorching coffee. On our way again after we get some laundry done.
Au Dela Narcisse today. Is there anything better? Not for me. It’s an enduring love.❤️
Happy FriYAY!
So you have made it over the mountain pass? I love grape nuts, and you smell wonderful.
Yes, we made it one piece! Luckily the weather doesn’t pay heed to the forecast, which was for 2” snow on the pass. Nope, bright and sunny with dry pavement! We lucked out, but it’s a hair-raising downhill for sure. It has a steep grade, but the real problem is all the hairpin turns on the way down. We just put it in low gear and toodled down slowly. Only touched the brakes twice. ?
Are you in the new truck now?
No, still in Moby. The truck/trailer combo won’t happen for at least another year. I just put a down payment on it to hold my spot in the production line. It’s direct from manufacturer to consumer, so I will eventually connect with them and complete a “build sheet” which specifies my customizations. Then production will start, will be finished approximately 3 months after that. It’s a process. ?
That really is a process!
Hi there scent twin! We smell glorious today.
?? We do!
In a wee spritz of MM L’Attesa, as soon I will be off to meet a new accountant to save me from the agony of diy taxes.
You smell elegant. House twins in a wee spritz of Romanza, it’s a powerhouse on me.
You smell wonderful 🙂
Oh what a beauty! I tried this for the first time recently and bought a bottle within minutes. Hope the new accountant is wonderfully helpful!
Joining the Ostara club!
Finishing my third cup of coffee and almost on my way out to take a walk. It’s sunny and warmer outside today, so much needed!
SmokeyToes hasn’t been here for a while. Hope she is doing well!
Happy Friday! ?
Lots of folks are MIA……hope they are all well and just busy 🙂
Ditto this!
Hope so too!
She’s on Insta!
Glad to know! Thank you!
Enjoy that sun!?
Thank you! Very uplifting! ???
I’ve been wondering about some of the regulars that haven’t been posting for a while, too. Hope everyone is OK.
I hope everybody is fine and enjoying the spring season!
I’m wearing La Haie Fleurie du Hameau, essentially a white floral bouquet with a jonquille note. I think it is utterly lovely. I remember buying the last bottle from a shop in The Hague some ten years ago, and how lucky felt for getting it.
Leaving for a week in France tomorrow. I’ve just finished packing my decants, teas will be up next.
You smell wonderful. I think I have 3 or 4 backups of Haie Fleurie
That is excellent, I just own the one (100 ml) bottle, which should be plenty, but I fully understand wanting to stock up on that one.
Bon voyage! Have a wonderful time.
Have a great time in France!
So envious of your trip to France, have fun!
Oh, I want to go too! I hope you have a fabulous time. Do tell us about your scented adventures when you return. ??
Oh, do I envy you! Have a wonderful time! Went there once, would love to go again, best trip of my life!
oh, hope you enjoy your trip to France!
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2022/apr/10/rereading-jane-austen-has-transformed-my-life-and-at-almost-90-ive-never-been-happier?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
Morning. I have just finished a book called The Jane Austen Remedy by Ruth Wilson and thought of you. It’s a memoir but really a book about rereading Austen that formed part of her PhD ( in her 80s) on the transactional nature of reading. The idea that reading books, and rereading at different stages of your life provide new insights into your life experiences. She reads in a kind of ‘spiral’ so looking from text, to life, to text etc. Anyway, it’s a terrific book on Austen ( available as an E Book) and interesting on the process of reading.
Have a happy holiday.
Oh, thanks for that, it sounds really interesting!
I gained an entirely new perspective of Austen after studying traditional property law. I know read her as novels as about economic transformation and the impacts of money and power .
Have a fabulous time in France!
Thanks for all the good wishes! I’m sure I will enjoy myself.
Your trip sounds wonderful! Have fun and be safe.
Hooray for a trip to France! Have a fabulous time.
I’m not sure that I have anything with a narcissus note, and I’m too lazy to do any research this morning. Instead, I’m going with Absolute Aphrodisiac, which is a very nice vanilla. SO glad it is Friday, and as soon as I’m done with my morning meetings, I think I’m going to take the afternoon off! Feeling rather stretched thin, and I could use some down time.
Hope you get a relaxing weekend!
I hope your afternoon off was rejuvenating.
Not participating in the CP today. SOTD is Cassis, Rose & Sandalwood by Dame. Very pretty. I think this perfume house has some very nice scents and Jeffrey is very generous with samples. He even gave me a rollerball for free due to my order being delayed. Very accommodating. I think that says a lot for his customer service ?
I agree 100% with everything you’ve said.
On the road and no access to my narcissus scents, so I’m wearing a couple of spritzes of TRNP Bodhi Tree, leaving my arms bare for the trip to Fumerie with Foxbins! :-). Will report back later.
On the road twins! Have a great day sniffing and let us know what you bought. I’m living the perfume life vicariously through you. ?
Oh fun – have a great time!
I hope it’s a blast! ? Do say hi to Tracy for me.
Have a great trip and a happy time with Foxbins. Wish I was there!
Hope you have a wonderful time and find some new scents to enjoy!
Have a fabulous day of sniffing!
Looking forward to your sniffage report!
Fun! Have a great time sniffing.
We had a fabulous time sniffing everything in the store, then headed to a delicious French bakery and had pastries and tea/coffee. Foxbins bought Goldfield & Banks Sunset Hour and I cought travel sprays of Scents of Wood Cypress in Oak and Leather in Bourbon. So nice to meet up with her again!
That all sounds perfect!
Forgot that no 19 could be part of the CP and I am already in Lost Cherry today. Will wear no 19 tomorrow.
Thanks, Dawn! I don’t think I ever knew that about Chanel No. 19.
Inspired by Old Herbaceous, I’m in Vol de Nuit 1996 edt. I never tried to find narcissus in this one, so that’s my challenge to help get to know it. I also have a 2017 Bee Bottle that I’ve liked better because it does seem “sweetened.” The ’96 one so far has not been my style, but maybe that will change! I don’t know about the newest one.
Ooh, you smell great! I wore vintage VdN extrait today, but I love the edt.
I chose Dryad for the CP. The narcissus in it IS there, but buried under lots of moss and oak leaves and tree trunks. Makes me want to trek out to the old Columbia Gorge Highway and just breathe. Happy Friday everyone!
I’ll be there tonight, so I’ll breathe it all in for you! ?
Oh, so envious! Enjoy!
Not the biggest fan of narcissus here. Resampling Misia by Chanel. Which I really didn’t like when I first tried it as I disliked how earthy it was but this time around..not bad. Chanel just does perfume right.
Ah, interesting! Is this a new/recentish sample or tester? I have an old edt sample which I find bright and very beautiful, but what I actually bought recently is a new bottle of the edp, which seems quite different to my (very old) edt. It’s still lovely though, but not as bright and clear-softer and warmer somehow. It didn’t strike me as earthy from either bottle but maybe I just lack the vocabulary to do justice to this comparison…glad to hear you’re enjoying it this time round!
In Bois Sacre, so a CP fail. But golly I smell amazing!
My bottle’s sprayer was a mess. ScentBar encouraged me to try to pull off the sprayer and decant. I can’t say the sprayer removal went well–the glass snapped immediately. It was a clean snap and my attitude is that the chances that any micro glass chips will make their way up the new spray tubes and out the new sprayers is pretty small (won’t spray perfume in my eyes as an extra precaution!). The new bottles look lovely, if I say so myself. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccme5N6O6L3l0ugaZw2hkvqZqJV39r3j_Eh3kk0/
(I made my Insta account private because I started getting too many random men with no posts following me–which was just weird–so if you can’t seen the pic and want to, just ping me on Insta.)
Yikes.
Creepy!
What did you use to try to pull off the sprayer?
Fragrance du Bois Santal Complet, delicious, but likely the opposite of a narcissus fragrance. Leaving today for camping and wine tasting at Lake Chelan this weekend, including a yoga class + glass of wine tomorrow! Currrently baking banana bread to bring.
Have a fun swapmeet, all. I will try to join in from Chelan if I can.
Have a wonderful trip!
Chillin’ in Chelan! My current batch of Honeycrisps feature a Chelan sticker–must be a connection ?
I think Chelan Fresh is just a grower – all their apples are grown in the PNW.
Safe travels and enjoy your trip!
That sounds like a weekend in heaven.
I love Santal Complet, you smell wonderful! I should’ve chosen it as my windfall scent for the Tax Day CP. It sure is a spendy one!
Have a wonderful time in Chelan and drink a glass of something good for me!
It seems appropriate for the cp to Keep-It-Simple on Earth Day, and I’m doing so with Dame Perfumery Soliliflore Narcissus perfume oil. Although I’m not much of a floral note lover, wearing this for the first time today I’m really enjoying it. A little dab’ll do ya with this one; it’s rich and creamy and slightly indolic, more complex than its ‘soliliflore’ designation, and quite long-lasting. Very nice!
Today’s community project is perfect because over the years we’ve planted many varieties of daffodils and, since they’re one of the few bulbs our neighborhood squirrels won’t dig up and eat, they have proliferated nicely and are in full bloom right now. Although today is grey and rainy, yesterday was a warm and sunny day and their bright shades of mostly yellow were a welcome sight after the miserable spring weather we’ve had thus far.
Later I’l be topping off my SOTD with Ted Lapidus Creation, an absolutely glorious fragrance from the mid-1980’s. It’s bold and brash, with more notes than you can count (including narcissus), crosses all genres and is a beautiful celebration of nature’s rebirth in spring, a favorite of mine in April when life springs forth. I ❤️it!
We finally got to the nursery this week and I’m looking forward to planting my window boxes with pansies tomorrow, which is forecast to be warm and sunny again. Looking forward also to a small concert with our favorite Chicago folk troubadour on Sunday. Got my second booster this week so I feel safe again, luckily only aftereffect was a sore arm the next day.
Wishing everyone Happy ? Day with a wonderful weekend to follow!
Glad you were able to get your second booster. My husband and I got our second one a few weeks ago. It makes me feel safe again too.
Of course, I love your choice of perfume houses, but have not tried that one.
So nice to hear about your flowers. Nothing is nicer than daffodils on a grey day. Have a happy weekend.
I’ve had my eye on some of the Dame soliflores for a while now. Maybe it’s time to quit waffling and start sampling…
Thanks to Dawn, I will put on Chanel No 19 after my shower.
I do have a bottle of Ostara that I received in a swap, but sadly there is a note in it that doesn’t agree with my skin. I’d be happy to send it to a new home (preferably in Canada). If you are in the US and still want it, I’d prefer to wait til I’m in the US (will be back in the fall sometime) to send it out. I can be reached at (no spaces in between) g a i l s 7 1 8 6 @ geemale.
**update**
The bottle of Ostara has been claimed.
Wearing Ostara today, which has a faceful of narcissus! I sadly have a cold (not COVID, thankfully), likely from my husband coughing in my face. I did NOT miss getting casual colds from the Before Times. The distancing during the pandemic kept me nicely protected from such small-scale infections, and my immune system has grown weak. Reintegrating myself into the general world has its risks.
Get well soon! I just knocked on wood this morning as I told Mr. SP I rarely use my sick time at work other than for medical appointments. But we go back to the office 5/2 so we’ll see how long that lasts.
Bletch on the cold! That is one thing I do NOT miss from pre-COVID times.
Hope you feel better soon! There are definitely some nasty bugs going around… feels like they’ve come back stronger!
In Lilas et Narcissus which is as lovely as the weather today (sunny, high 70s). Going to see a Bansky exhibit this afternoon.
My husband and I decided that we’re going to start house hunting. We are currently pre-qualified and working on the pre-approval and we’ll start hitting the open houses tomorrow. Exciting times!
That is definitely an exciting prospect! Good luck, and I hope you enjoy the process and find some good ones!
Good luck with the house hunt! I hope you find the perfect home for you 🙂
Good luck with house hunting. I hope you find something with lots of walk in perfume storage!
Best of luck with the house hunting! ???
I saw a Banksy exhibit in Berlin several years ago and was blown away. How did you like it?
Good luck with house hunting!
Best of luck with the house hunt!
As someone who just went through all of that, you have my sympathies as well as excitement! Hahahaha. It was a bit too much excitement for me.
Yeah, way too much excitement for me too!
Very exciting – hope you find your dream home!
Did miss the CP today, because i was biking to work again and used one the the decants it have there, so i wore Covet, which i love. So nice in spring.
trying to get fit after a long winter is my goal at the moment plus shedding some of my covid pounds, nearly 14 pounds are gone, which i am quite proud of.
Congrats on pursuing your health goals!
I love Covet, so unusual. I like to layer it over different lotions for a different effect each time. I find it extremely versatile.
Covet is so great!
Wow, congrats! Getting fit is tough but rewarding 🙂
I looked up fragrances with narcissus; it was a walk down memory lane, which was a lot of fun! My past narcissus fragrances included Ysatis, Liz Claiborne, Eternity. Unfortunately, all of these are long gone. No CP points for me.
I’m fragrance free today. It is cool and rainy today, so something cozy sounds lovely, but I’m short-handed in that category.
Have a great day!
At the very least, sounds like you need to acquire something cozy!
I was sitting at the kitchen table yesterday and glanced through the sliding door and, to my horror, two plump rats were on the other side. Happily sitting there on the doormat as if waiting for me to invite them in to share my coffee and sandwich. After what seemed like hours they slowly ambled off and disappeared into a crack ( tiny) in the wall of the house. Just thinking about it makes my heart go thud thud. That’s Earth Day for you! They must be eating the feed I put out for the sparrows. I feel sorry for them as we will have to kill them. Ugh, rats. They give me the creeps.
Wearing Hermetica Verticaloud ( sample) sweet woody and I like it . Yesterday wore Perfect which has narcissus apparently. Happy weekend !
I had to kill a spider today. I felt bad but the thought of him making his way into my hair as I slept won out.
The only rat I’ve ever liked is the one in The Wind in the Willows. All the others frighten me, dirty little animals. Incredibly adaptable though.
Ratty! I loved him. ?
There was an extremely large bumblebee in our basement this afternoon! Seems that a lot of people are dealing with varmints today.
You can just trap it/them and set it loose out in the woods. It’s much easier than killing them, no matter what method you use. It’s always a mess to clean up. And if you use poison you run the risk of killing anything that may eat the dead rat, including dogs. You can rent or buy steel traps, take them out in the woods and release them. If you saw two, you probably are hosting 10x that amount.
Agggghhhhh!
Ack! How gross.
Yep, that’s too much Earth Day.
Calvin Klein Reveal. It’s been a long time since I’ve worn this salty caramel. It’s giving me Eau de Merveilles vibes but without the amber. It’s nice, simple and easy. Not really something I need to have but it’s fine having the mini.
It’s a great no-brainer. I would not mind having a mini.
SOTD = Eris Parfums Green Spell
I think it was allo who mentioned that Green Spell has narcissus. I’m on board with that! I have a 7mL travel spray.
This morning, just outside of Penn Station, the sidewalk between 33rd and 34th was littered with deflated balloon garbage and it almost looked like someone was protesting Earth Day.
Here’s my Earth Day picture:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CcqYPcQOPiw/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Your Earth Day picture kinda looks like a closeup picture of Jupiter or Saturn taken from one of NASA’s space probes.
You do smell divine!
Hello perfume friends, and boy am I glad to be here – the past few weeks have been very busy and I am way off the CP in whatever drops of TDC Bois d’Iris are still perceptible from early this morning. Looking forward to catching up on all the comments and news from the past few weeks, good, bad, and sobering. Hope there’s some peace and relaxation ahead for each one of you this weekend! I plan to spend it in a cloud of jasmine, both from my blooming houseplants and my favourite bottle of Perris Monte Carlo Jasmin de Pays, oh my!
You will smell amazing! I hope things calm down soon.
Oh, you have jasmine blooming! Sounds like a perfect relaxing smell for your relaxing weekend 🙂
I can still smell last night’s Narcisse Noir on my jersey from last night. I could wear my most obvious narcissus perfume today, Le Temps d’Une Fête, but I’ve worn that several times recently.
I might do a bit of research on what else might fit the CP and let you know tomorrow!
Another beautiful morning and another long weekend – yay!
Joining you in the yay!
Happy friday all!
I’m in Cuir d’Ange. I didn’t realize this has a note of narcissus until Robin wore it earlier this week. The last time I wore this, my husband said it smelled like a pet store; “not in a bad way” he said!! ?
Scent twins today. I had no idea either, lol… CP pts for sure.
I have one arm in just Cuir d’Ange and the other layered in C d’A and Kelly Caleche which also has a note of narcissus. I think I might enjoy them separately more so than layered together… maybe do one each arm in the future.
You smell lovely, I love Caleche too!
Oh dear…I wore it but I don’t think it has narcissus…I did not claim points ! I just felt like wearing it.
Robin, you were on point without realizing it! At least according to fragrantica, it has a note of narcissus.
Huh, we there you are!
Prosody London’s Jacinth Jonquil! It’s so pretty & lush, & today is an ideal evening to drink CA wine out outside with family in town, a perfect spring night.
Oh nice! Wonder if it is like Jacinthe des Bois.
I think it’s a bit less green but don’t actually know since I haven’t smelled Jacinthe de Bois yet. Would now like to, & compare it to the Prosody but also Anne Flipo’s Synthetic Jungle.
Jacinth Jonquil blooms best on me in the heat of summer but even then what it evokes is May. Still exploring the house but have enjoyed everything so far.
They haven’t made JdB in so long that any you found would be deeper than it was, probably. Mine is far more floral/sweet than Synthetic Jungle, and has more of an old fashioned feel…it is nearly a soliflore.
CP points for me! SOTD is vintage Vol de Nuit extrait.
Nice one.
Another gorgeous early spring day for me with plenty of sun and the barest hint of cool in the air. Strangely enough, the cats did not take advantage of the sunny windowsill this afternoon. ???
Doing my part for Earth Day by using Easter ham leftovers to make dirty rice for dinner tonight.
SOTD = BF Au Dela Narcisse, from the Sample Stash. I have maybe a spritz or two left in my sample. I had several choices today, but one perfume bottle I was interested in stubbornly refused to be opened this morning. I will try again with that one later.
The cap wouldn’t open?
Yep! Exactly right.
We have a screened porch adjacent to both the living room and family room where the cats can sun themselves in a protected space.. ?? and ?sit by the window or door and wait for Mom to let them in or out and seem to do that often when the weather is yucky. But when the sun is shining on a beautiful warm day, they’re not interested. Cats!!!?
Silly kitties! ??
Mine were much more interested in the kitty cat heating pad today. We had the patio door cracked open, so I suspect that the house temp was a little cooler than they would like.
One of mine decided she needed to sit exactly two inches behind me all day today. ? Almost kicked her by accident a half dozen times. Cats!!!
I’ve had a few “stepped on kitty by accident” episodes lately because one or both of the cats have decided that it’s OK to be underfoot in the kitchen! Sheesh.
I’m on team Ostara today and heading out for a long walk that’ll take us to a Mexican restaurant on the water for a late lunch/early dinner (linner?). Trying to take advantage of this beautiful weather and a day off work.
Hurray for the combo of beautiful weather & a day off from work!
It was SUCH a nice day!
Agua Verde? Have fun!
Yep, you got it! Their shrimp tacos really hit the spot.
It’s raining cats and dogs here.
After a quick search I found I have nothing for the cp. I went with Prada Candy Night. It fits with the weather. I realized today that it smells like a perfumed tootsie roll.
That actually sounds kind of great.
It really is. I like it more every time I wear it.
At least your weather isn’t doing this: https://youtu.be/l5aZJBLAu1E
I knew that was going to be at the other end of that link 🙂
Sometimes I am entirely too predictable with my music selections! ???
Hahaha! I know the song but had never seen the video before. ?
I didn’t see the video very much back in the day. Keeps it fun.
Lol!?
Not CP compliant – I’m wearing Pacifico by Snif. I bought it on a whim, and it’s turned into a favorite easy reach.
This week has felt about 7000 years long. So happy it’s the weekend!
Wow, that is a long week…hope you have a very chill weekend!
