Happy Easter, everyone! It's time to fill your (fantasy) Easter basket:
1. You can pick one perfume, new or old: what is it?
2. And you can have one other scented product (a candle, a body lotion, anything): what is it?
3. Your favorite candy?
4. And any random present you'd like the Easter bunny to bring you.
Note: shown are a selection of the goodies from Ladurée’s Easter collection for 2022. The small hens are €8 each; a large egg filled with chocolate figurines is €45.
1. I’m scented with eau de sunscreen on the Clearwater beach at the moment, so something summery. Bronze Goddess, a bottle to supplement my travel spray.
2. Do they have a matching body lotion? If not I want a Diptyque candle, have only ever had minis.
3. Salt water taffy, to stay with my personal theme ?
when I was very young, I was in love with a man who lived in a beach cottage at the very end of Clearwater beach past the old Mandalay towers. Those were heady days.
Lucky you…hope you are having a ball! (And the Bronze Goddess whipped body cream is fantastic, if they still make it.)
I was. Young, thin, tan, careless.
Haven’t an Estée Lauder day.
Trying out the Re-nutriv skincare, using double wear, mascara and bronze goddess blush. SOTD Beautiful Belle perfume.
1. Vintage Shalimar
2. I am loving my sample of Mon Guerlain body lotion. Would love more.
3. Dark CHocolate anything
4. The ? can bring ? ☮️ At least for Easter and Passover Day..
I have always been tempted by the Re-nutriv line! How do they feel going on the skin? (I guess it’s too early to ask about their effects?)
I have been a loyal ANR user, and I love that one a lot.
So, I used the cream , eye serum and eye cream from re-nutriv. The only downside is the fragrance. If you can get passed that , so far my face feels like a babies bottom. Sometimes these heavier creams make me breakout. I will report back later about that.
The packaging is very chic and luxurious. I also have the hand cream and the face wash, that I haven’t tried yet.
???
Did you guys see Scarlett Johansson’s the face for a skincare line called The Outset? Haven’t tried anything, but am encouraged to see the products are fragrance-free.
I love ANR too! It plays very nicely with my other skincare.
I don’t mind fragrance in my products and skin feeling like a baby’s bottom is a definite win!
Heavier creams are also in my rotation. Hmm, I think I will look them up. Oh and the packaging is luxe indeed!
I have been using ANR for years. I have tried other serums but have gone back to this one. The next time you are at the EL counter ask for a sample of Re-Nutriv and see if they can let you try. I was at Nordies and they let me try a sample of their Futurist Hydra Rescue
Happy Saturday!!
SOTD Lush Lust, probably my favorite jasmine ever.TRULY a lush perfume!
1.I’m on the last mls of Phi une Rose de Kandehar…HAVE to get more, but Tauer is almost impossible to get in South Africa
2.Another perfume!Violettes de Toulouse from Berdoues.Same as Lust, but just in the Best Violet category.
3.Wilson’s Crème Caramels ever since I was a little boy.
4.It’s been raining this whole weekend,I need some Sun please Mr Easter Bunny!!
My thoughts are with the people in Durban after the devastating floods this past week.Last year they had the most horrendous violence and looting around the same time, and now this.Heartbreaking.
Happy weekend all!
XO’s
?
I don’t know how complicated this would be, but I have relatively easy access to Tauer and will be coming your way this summer — except I’ll be in Cape Town. Would it be hard to mail it to you from there?
Oh right, you’re having an african adventure!
Thank you for the kind offer, that is awesome! The local courier services are relatively easy to navigate,it should not be a problem from Cape Town to Pretoria(neighbor city to Johannesburg,up north)
Maybe we can discuss details via email?
I’m johanob at vodamail dot co dot za.
Thank youuuuuu!!??
Vibes for you and those affected in Durban!
??
1. Diorissimo Extrait! (or really vintage EDP)
2. Guerlain Mueget- the special edition from several years ago in the white porcelain bottle!
The other thing I need is more sleep, but what else is new?
Hope the Easter bunny brings sleep, and the ? ☮️ ltsg asked for…
1) I’m bare today dealing with a horrible head cold. Gak, I hate it. Little sleep, nose packed solid, slight fever. I’m a sad baby today.
But my perfume of choice would be the Japanese porcelain bottle of Mitsouko. I’d be happy with just the bottle! ?
2) A resupply of my Shalimar bath crystals which they haven’t made in years.
3) I’m a dark chocolate girl. Fancy filled truffles with unique flavors will always lure into spending money.
4) A plane ticket so I can visit my best friend who is currently in Porto!
Ugh, sorry about the cold Kelly Red!
Sorry about your cold, hope you get well soon.
Feel better soon!
sad baby – take care of yourself.
Happy Easter to all celebrating! I’m in Aedes Pelargonium today.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CcaNdJoj1V3/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
1. I really wan Les Brumes from Ormaie.
2. I finally wanna try one of Diptyque candles, sny scent but fig.
3. Some dark chocolate covered marzipan will do.
4. A nice shirt to wear this spring.
I have had better luck with Cire Trudon than Diptyque, but if you’ve never had one I think it’s time! I use candles so slowly that a splurge is worth it now and again.
Yes to your nr 3!
I did expect more from the Diptyque candles’ throw and scent, but they’re still nice to explore.Maybe get a discovery set of 5 of the tiny ones before you really splurge.
Happy weekend!
Sotd is BR540 extrait.
1. Youth Dew!
2. Another perfume. The stunning Guerlain turtle bottle perfume that released a while back.
3. I have such a sweet tooth, it’s super hard to choose! Off the top of my head right now, chocolate truffles. 😉
4. Please Easter bunny bring an end to COVID.
Amen to your #4!
Ditto
Adding my vote!
Another vote for it!
Happy Easter! ???
Wearing Hermes Kelly Caleche, thanks to a swap with Gail. I have always loved it and I am glad I have it in my collection again.
1. Chanel Bel Respiro.
2. South of France Violet Bouquet Body Cream. I have been in love with the bar soap for a long time and I would love to add the body cream and even the hand wash to my Easter basket.
3. Always PEEPS for Easter, especially the new flavor releases. This year the coffee flavor is great! But everybody knows that I will grab them anytime of the year if I spot them somewhere! ?
4. Time and more time to sleep and also to decluter my apartment from things that I do not need anymore. I never have enough time for it.
Did you see the recipe for (original) Peeps s’mores? Dump chocolate chips in a square pan. Layer bunny peeps on top in various colors. Cook till the chocolate is melted – the peeps should retain some shape. Dip graham crackers in the concoction.
I have the cinnamon peeps, and they’re quite good.
Oh my! Glad I am reading this before heading to the supermarket later. I will get the chocolate chips to make that recipe tomorrow. Will report back! Thank you!
The cinnamon Peeps are one of my favorites! I have not seen them yet anywhere this year.
It was on Food Network IG. It said to just bake at 300 degrees till melted. Enjoy!
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CcWD4fIpjvv/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Yes to no.4!
Welcome to the club!
I hope I do not run into the coffee peeps, that would be hard to resist.
Lol! Crossing fingers you DO find them!
I would also like more time— the days are so short and the to do list so long!
Same here! There is too much to do and the list keeps growing!
I was in my local pharmacy dropping off a parcel and happened to notice they have Peeps nail polish in their cosmetics department. There was a duo of yellow and purple. And another one of pink and sparkles (I think). I immediately thought of you!
Lol! I didn’t know about it. You made me Google it. I saw that some are even scented. They would be so fun to have, even if I didn’t wear them!
Ha!I had a funny incident with “time” last night.I started listening to new music from Jenny Hval around 6pm and when the playlist finished I was sure it was around 8:30-ish…Clock said 22:10!!!I had to google “local South african time NOW” to make sure I was not going crazy or my clock went bezerk….haha!
The same happens to me all the time! Time flies so quickly that you barely notice it! These days I wish the day has more than 24 hours, but only to take care of personal matters and enjoy, lol!
Weekends yes, workweeks please NO!!Then time can fly however fast it wants!Haha!
I’m so grateful for this long weekend after the crazy workweeks we’ve been having.XO’s
10 hours sleep without moving. Wearing a touch of vintage Devin for my dad and a touch of vintage Halston for my mother.
My sister said she feels them both close by as well.
Into my basket -lots and lots of incense from every temple in Kyoto.
Peeps are good. yep.
Please easter bunny – food, warmth, love, peace for all people and animals.
Devin was such a great scent…brings back memories for me too.
Wearing Philosykos again today – I just keep reaching for it.
1) I’ve been thinking a lot about the sample of Freeway by 4160 Tuesdays that I tried ages ago. I would like a bottle of that.
2) The hinoki body oil from Wonder Valley that was in one of the daily lemming posts
3) Dark chocolate peanut butter cups
4) Peace
Ooh.. I don’t think I have had a dark chocolate peanut butter cup. Yum!
Trader Joe’s!
I’ve tried them, and even though I generally prefer dark to milk chocolate, somehow this combination just doesn’t taste as good to me. Perhaps I’m too much of a traditionalist about peanut butter cups?
I agree. The taste is weird for me. I am sticking to the milk chocolate ones.
Same for me. Although the dark chocolate peanut butter hearts from See’s aren’t bad. I suspect the chocolate they use is not 72% dark but more like dark milk.
Peanut butter cups – yum! Milk or dark chocolate is fine with me 🙂
1. I’ve been enjoying my perfumes and not really craving more . . .but I would like a replacement for my gone baby gone Mitsouko extract someday, and if a bottle of Maison Violet’s Pourpre d’Automne fell into my possession, I wouldn’t complain ?
2. There are candles I’d like to have, but their cost is just stupid.
3. Favorite candy? Impossible to say. I love very dark chocolate truffles, and anything made with nuts, especially those Middle Eastern treats with sesame seeds and/or pistachios. Did I say marzipan? At this time of year the cheap as chips nostalgia bombs, See’s Mayfair Easter Eggs, tug at my heart.
4. Peace. Peace for the world and peace of mind?
I’ve not yet applied perfume, but I’m thinking about Plum, as it is raining cats and dogs outside (sadly, the forecast is for sun this afternoon—we need the rain!) and Plum is a favorite when I want something cheery and warm.
My grandmother made the pistachio/sesame treats. So delicious!
?!
I’m in African Leather this morning and it’s not working for me — the opening tartness is lingering too long. Will switch to something else later.
Meanwhile, my poll answers:
1. A pristine bottle of Hermes Doblis. It is un-gettable, but the Bunny might have an in somewhere. Failing that, a bottle of vintage Bel Ami.
2. A bottle of Chanel Bel Respiro. So lovely for spring.
3. Caramel. Of just about any sort.
4. Echoing everyone above who wished for world peace and an end to people’s suffering.
You would hope the Easter bunny could get anything!
No perfume yet and nothing is really calling to me — I might spritz on some Eau Premiere eventually when I leave the house to drop off Passover and Easter gifts for my neighbors. I have been wearing that No 5 alot lately — it’s so versatile!
That is so kind of you to drop off gifts!
It makes my day! I love it when so many special days coincide ❤️
1) Going to shamelessly copy cazubon and opt for Papillon’s upcoming Hera.
2) A fancy Cire Trudon candle.
3) Fave candy is dark chocolate. Budget purchase would be Chocolove’s salted almond butter bites. If Easter bunny’s treating, champagne truffles from Maison du Chocolat.
4) Agree with other posters wishing for world peace and an end to covid.
Oh, have not tried any of the Chocolove bites!
I’m with you on all four!
Assuming the basket is a gift, I’ll take
1. Chamade extrait
2. Diptyque Baies candle.
3. As always, I’d want a bunch of LOOK candy bars (a thin nougat bar covered in dark chocolate).
4. A collection of Chanel and Dior lipsticks…
I’m making spice cupcakes from a mix. I shaped the cupcakes and will attempt to frost them like a bunny face. Could be a fiasco. I’m also going to make some deviled eggs for tomorrow.
SOTD is cherry blossom from BBW. Shower gel, lotion and mist.
Well, the bunny face decorating was a big fail. I need real tips and and bag. Just put a lot of frosting to hide that the cupcakes aren’t fully round but indented…. Lol
Oh shoot! I’m sure they’re delicious anyway.
Your number 4! Me too , that would be so good ?
1) I’m going to go with the fragrance that’s been in my collection the longest: Goutal’s Hadrien
2) I’ll take the Hadrien body creme, please and thank you.
3) Twix, salted caramel version (it this in the US yet?)
4) I have enough “stuff”.
I love you #3. I will look for this the next time I am in the candy aisle
OMG I need that Ywix salted caramel! Love Twix.
Twix salted caramel??? I have to look for them!
I have my own perfume Easter basket: the exploration set of 10 EdPs from Dries van Noten.
It was obsessively and beautifuly packaged and fun to open. I haven’t tested all 10 on my skin yet, but they seem interesting at first sniff. Today I’m really enjoying Rock the Myrrh, described as myrrh and smoked wood.
I love that DvN engaged 10 different perfumers in this project.
The 10 sample set is $60, which you can later credit toward a full bottle. There are also 5-sample subsets of the fresh or intense fragrances at $40.
Enjoy your new buy! Discovery sets are so fun
It’s great when a brand offers a credit like that.
Oh yay, so glad somebody bought it! Do tell us if any are must-tries.
1. An ever elusive fairly priced Rochas Mystère
2. I’m terrible at using body creme, lotion et al… So a candle, maybe a backup of the Dermalogica candle I currently burn
3. Mi-Cho-Co, that’s a French caramel and chocolate candy, I never see it in London
4. I’m going to need a new washing machine soon.
Boo on #4, and wish the Easter Bunny brought appliances!
Thank you Robin, that would be an awesome?.
Today I wore Floris Special No 127 which Fragrantica calls just Special 127, it’s one of the several orange blossom/neroli scents I own, tonight it’s I Profumi di Firenze Hayan, a patchouli gourmand.
Wearing Mugler Aura today because I was in the mood for that brand of Muglerian weirdness, in this case something in fluorescent green.
1) I want an ounce of vintage La Nuit de Paco Rabanne extrait in my Easter basket, please and thank you. I discovered its greatness far too late.
2) I don’t really use any scented things but I guess a tub of 1990-vintage Guerlain Samsara body cream would not go astray. (I had it back in the day and it was preposterously good.)
3) No candy for me, due to various annoying dietary restrictions, but since this is fantasy, I’ll have panned marshmallow eggs, please. Not necessarily my favourite candy in the world, but definitely my favourite Easter candy.
I had to google panned marshmallow eggs… I don’t know how I have never heard of those.
I thought, well, maybe it’s a Canadian thing, but no, you have them in the US, and they are SO nice! A firm but not hard sugar shell around a fluffy little oval of vanilla-scented marshmallow. If you’re big on texture, they’re heaven. You should see if you can find them when everything goes half-price on Monday.
Luckily, candy options 1/2 price today at my local store were dreadful…probably several pounds saved 😉
We’re enjoying lovely autumn weather over the long Easter weekend, so nice when the weather cooperates.
I can still smell the last of a dab last night of The Dark Side. Francesca Bianchi’s perfumes are really potent!
I’d like the Easter bunny to bring me a couple of Serge Lutens bell jars – Mandarine Mandarin and Rousse are top of the list. Even better, the bunny could bring me flight bookings to go and get them myself 🙂
The Easter bunny could maybe also intercede with the US Postal Service and restore shipping to New Zealand, that would make it easier to get samples of new releases.
Ha, I like the flight bookings idea!
So weird we still aren’t shipping to New Zealand.
The Easter bunny forgot to bring my bottle of vintage Dioressimo last round – maybe try for a Guerlain “cigarette case” bottle? Making it easier, ha, don’t mind which perfume it is…
For a scented product Diptyque’s Creme Riche would be lovely.
Dark chocolate – happy to be surprised, as bunny knows best.
Some skin treatment actually making a difference for the better – bleh, it feels like my face is ten years older than it was two years ago.
Wishing everyone good sleep before the Easter Bunny comes!
My face has aged considerably the last 2 years too. Let me know if you find a miracle serum.
1. You can pick one perfume, new or old: what is it? Serge Lutens Bois et Musc.
2. And you can have one other scented product (a candle, a body lotion, anything): what is it? Chanel n.5 body lotion. Alternatively, this handmade oakmoss soap made by a lady in Florida that I bought at a flea market down there. It was so perfect.
3. Your favorite candy? Lately, Peanut Butter M&Ms. Cadbury Mini Eggs are a previous favorite, but this Easter the chocolate doesn’t taste as creamy as before. More Hersheys than Dairy Milk.
4. And any random present you’d like the Easter bunny to bring you. A big box of patience and a loooong nap. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!
LOL at the big box of patience…I could use a few of those 😉
1. Still lemming the old school Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace lotion, shower gel, and body spray. I wore it for years and it’s linked to some of the happiest and most dreadful memories of my life.
2. See above.
3. Anything that’s on hand.
4. I’d like to join so many others wishing for world peace, but even my trippy-hippy-dippy imagination knows it’ll never happen. I wouldn’t mind if all the people that created grief, mayhem, and murder suffered considerably as a result of their miserable activities. A bit vengeful, I am! Umm, yes! (Said in my best Yoda voice.)
VS used to make some really good scents. I miss the original perfume.
Me too…why did they discontinue it? The bottle was so glamorous
Related to #4, I have often thought that it would be a better world if anybody who inflicts pain on another would have to feel that pain reflected back on them, as well.
1. You can pick one perfume, new or old: what is it? A 30ml bottle of the first release of Samsara parfum.
2. And you can have one other scented product (a candle, a body lotion, anything): what is it? A 1990’s Shalimar body lotion. I got this once when Mr. Mossy and I were in our student days; I agonized over the cost (had wanted the edp but the sales clerk mentioned the lotion was available at the Huge Amount Less of probably something like $10). The smell and quality of the lotion cheered me up many a dark Winter morning heading off to work. A very happy memory!
3. Your favorite candy? Ritter Sport Marzipan bars.
4. And any random present you’d like the Easter bunny to bring you. A message to all the local bunnies not to chew down my sprouting perennials! I have several that are bunny-resistant when unfurled, but when the tender tops first push up, they get nipped.
Your #4! ?
4. made me ?.
I am right there with you on number three!
SOTD = Chanel Le Lion ?
Love! I need to keep using the 200mL bottle so I can finally thunk it!
https://www.instagram.com/p/CcapPbAOUZp/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Taxes – Done, Done and Done! Weirdly, I was not able to e-File which I tried twice and did not want to try a third time. I was going to be lazy and not allocate my income between NY and NJ but I’m glad I did because even though I owed NJ a ton, I ended up being $$$$ ahead when I net what I owed vs. what I am getting back. And would you believe, even though I am getting a good refund from Federal, I still saw vouchers for paying estimated taxes! Nope, not gonna do it.
As to the poll …
1. Papillon Hera
2. Mrs. Meyers Iowa Pine room spray
3. Root Beer Peeps
4. I want the Easter Bunny to wiggle its ears and clean out my house. Or at least help me get my mojo back. That said, I will get back to it this weekend!
Yay for your refund!
It’s so nice to have tax refunds! More cash for perfumes!
Happy Saturday and happy Easter weekend for those who celebrate! I’m in PdN Haute Provence again today. It’s perfect for the muggy weather we’ve had lately.
On to the poll:
1. I believe the Easter bunny to be magical, so he can find me a bottle of Shalimar MVP.
2. I’d love a 128oz jug of the Shikai Yuzu shower gel. It would more than last me until the cool weather sets in…which is November.
3. Favorite candy: okay, I’m an eight year old when it comes to candy. Y’all know this already. I’ve been going through the mini candy coated Whopper eggs with a vengeance. They are lower in fat, I tell myself. They are cute and can’t possibly be that bad for me, I tell myself. ?
4. We’ve been a one car family for over two years now. It wasn’t a big deal during the pandemic of course, but it would sure be nice if the Easter bunny could send me a new car right now! ?
I bought that jug of Yuzu this year! It also mixes really nicely with other shower gels.
Hello Peeps! I crack me up.. (said in my best Ralph Malph voice)?
1. I would ask for Gucci Envy or original Dolce and Gabbana Sicily.
2. Matching lotion and shower gel to no.1
3. I love most candy but am particularly fond of Gummi Bears.
4. Every year I ask for a miracle that my children will become self sufficient and be able to take care of themselves. Or enough money to pay for care.
More funny stuff…
I stopped at Taco Bell tonight ( don’t judge me! Lol) I said Happy Easter to the kid at the window. He says ” uh ma’am Easter is tomorrow. Today is Saturday ” I said “yes I know but I won’t be seeing you tomorrow ” he thought for a quick second and said oh! Happy Easter! Lol!
Oh Robin.. I was able to smell Lush Sticky Dates shower gel today. It smells really good but is very sweet! It smells like a date pie to me. I used it in their sink and it was not as sweet while washing.
Thank you lillyjo!! I will wait to smell it then. At least once I bought a shower gel from Lush that I found too sweet to use…of course now I can’t remember what it was.
Hey, I won’t judge you on the fast food tacos if you don’t judge me on the mini Whopper Easter eggs. Deal? ?
Deal!
Sicily is gorgeous…wish you could find it
Me too! I see it sometimes but not for what I would be willing to pay.
“Hello Peeps” hahaha!
I would ask for Hera but I’ve already been promised that as a belated birthday gift, so I’m going to request a bottle of Musc Outreblanc.
Just about any Cire Trudon candle would do.
I love peanut butter cups and marzipan hearts best.
My biggest wish is for my unpleasant housing situation to be resolved this year!
Oh, and I’m wearing TRNP Bodhi Tree today. Dug lots of holes and planted a bunch of hydrangea, lupines and daffodils. Waiting for it to warm up a bit to plant the geraniums. And I still have eleventy-billion more weeds to pull, sigh. I do not have a low-maintenance yard.
We planted 3 rhododendrons yesterday, and my husband valiantly did a ton of weeding and I pulled about 3 or 4 (ever since I got lyme disease weeding years ago I don’t mind weeds as much as I used to, ha). That’s it!
I likewise hope your housing situation gets fixed…
We removed three huge rhododendrons last year that completely obscured the view from the front picture window, boy do they get big. I didn’t know you could get Lyme disease from weeding, yikes!!
There can be ticks anywhere! You get out in the garden, there will be ticks 🙂
(I should say…assuming you have animals. We definitely have deer & mice and they are carriers.)
I am now curious about Hera too !!
1. Guerlain Iris Ganache
2. Chanel no. 5 dry body oil
3. Toss-up between cherry sours and any kind of Almond Roca type toffee with nuts
4. A professional organizer to help me de-clutter my house!
SOTD was Prada Candy (I wasn’t even thinking about the holiday!).
Happy Easter, everyone!
Ha, maybe we could get a group deal on the de-cluttering 🙂
SOTD was LVEB Intensement.
1. I’d love to find Shalimar MVP in my Easter basket.
2. Another bottle of an almond milk bath oil that was given to me. I scoured the internet but can’t find it anywhere. I am cherishing the last few drops.
3. I’m pretty low-key with chocolate, so I’d be ok with the Cadbury Mini Eggs, a large bag! And did someone mention Salted Carmel Twix? Yes please!
4. Like many others, peace and an end to covid. And some warm weather in my part of the world.
Happy Easter everyone!
1. A bottle of Shalimar MVP or a bell jar of MKK.
2. More Amouage Lyric and Epic would be awesome. Can’t find those so much anymore.
3. Yesterday I got my chocolate covered Peeps and buckeyes Yesterday. Spent more at Malley’s than I anticipated.
Currently in vintage BaV right now. Since I am going to a relatives house later, I have to tread carefully with perfume. Wearing some potent stuff isn’t really an option. It’s either vintage Mitsouko, no 5 extrait or Lyric extrait. All are dabbers.
Happy Easter! Wearing Unknown Pleasures.
and smelling great!!
Happy Easter cazaubon!
Happy Easter and good luck with the weeding.
Happy Easter, Cazaubon!
Happy Easter!
I’m a bit late to the party but here we are:
1) Viktoria Minya – Eau de Hongrie
2) My usual answer: Astier de Villatte – Naples candle
3) I do like candy. Mostly with chocolate and nuts or caramel. Like peanut or almond M&Ms or Twix. The Easter bunny brought me some Reese’s eggs. But I endeavor to be inclusive – dark chocolate truffles are welcome also 🙂
4) Besides peace and being finished with COVID, some big buckle Madrid Birkies are on my want list, not affiliated.
https://tinyurl.com/3uvuh57t
Birkenstock twins. Yesterday I ordered the shearling boots. But I would also go for the Big Buckle Madrids. Have a great weekend.
https://www.birkenstock.com/us/uppsala-shearling-suede-leather/uppsalashearling-suedeshearling-suedeleather-0-thermorubber-w_1.html
Oh, I like those boots – and certainly appropriate for your cooler time of year!
I had no idea Birkenstock made boots. Those are nice!
You smell great!
Thanks – happy Easter!
You too! 🙂
When I was a kid my mother would bake simnel cake at Easter ( and hot cross buns) and it was my task to roll the marzipan into balls for the decoration. It was such a good cake for autumn, so much better than matching a rich Christmas cake to mid-summer. So, rather than chocolate I would go for a slice of cake and match it with Rahat loukoum.
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/easter-simnel-cake
Perfume wish list still features Winter Palace.
Beautiful clear and cool days here, chilly mornings followed by blue skies. The days smell of fallen leaves and the evenings of wood smoke. Bliss.
Happy Easter!
Your cake and weather sound lovely!
Also late to the poll, but maybe there are still people reading. ?
1. Mohur Extrait, which is what I wore Friday for the CP. In lieu of a windfall, I’ll rely on the Easter bunny.
2. Diptyque Exfoliating Hand Wash since my hands still insist on being dry at the moment.
3. Dark chocolate truffles filled with all sorts of different flavorings sounds delightful.
4. I would love the bunny to pick out a just-right car for me so I don’t have to car shop.
Hi TRF, I’m still reading. Hope you get all your wishes!
Aww, thanks sp!
I’m still reading! I might even post later on today.
?
Also still reading and thinking you smell fabulous! I love everything from NV.
Thanks!
I’d like Papillon’s new perfume, Hera, thank you; and I wouldn’t say no to more Lumiere bath oil. 70% dark chocolate truffles for candy, please; and my fantasy gift would be travel of some kind. SOTD was Ostara, for Easter; now wearing Dior’s New Look 1947.
Who makes Lumiere bath oil and please tell us about it?
Happy Easter, everyone!!
Why not Wind Flowers by Creed? Haven’t tried it yet but really want to and will *take* that one with pleasure.
Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion by Bath and Body works.
Cough drops.
Extra back ups of The Vagabond Prince Swan Princess would be a perfect present. LOL my Easter Bunny would be more like Santa Clause 🙂
