The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 31 March 2022 8 Comments

Perfect for spring? Lilac bar soap from Caswell Massey: "Our Lilac Bath Soap is made in partnership with The New York Botanical Garden, and each purchase directly supports the park's work in plant research and conservation, horticulture, and education. Make your bath or shower ritual more indulgent with our long-lasting, plant-based, triple-milled Lilac soap. With the fresh, delicate scent of a stroll along the New York Botanical Garden's Lilac Hill, it has a gentle and moisturizing lather." (It is probably the same as this one, just prettier.) $11 for the 92g bar at Caswell Massey.

    Almost too pretty to use!

I like the quality of the Caswell Massey soaps. I have a set of the cucumber elderflower ones, and they last forever (which I guess could be a pro or a con, depending on how often you want to change up your soap scent).

They really are pretty. There is a honeysuckle too, and possibly others…

      I’ve been known to accelerate a soap bar’s demise…

I buy one of these every year. I personally think it’s the finest lilac scented soap on the market.

And it looks like this is the new soap design for all scents, not the basic oval. I see the rose is also this nicer look.

Ah, thanks Kelly Red, I did not investigate that far.

I love lilac, and that is ’bout the prettiest bar of soap I’ve ever seen. Lemming time!

Lilac soap for spring! And this one is interesting with the complex designs in the molding.
