British niche line Ormonde Jayne has launched Montabaco Cuba, Montabaco Flor and Montabaco Ivoire, new limited edition flankers to 2012's Montabaco.
Montabaco Cuba (above right) ~ "Ormonde Jayne is crossing the Atlantic and taking a trip to South America with the limited-edition Montabaco Cuba eau de parfum. Exclusively crafted for us here at Selfridges, this lightweight blend opens with notes of orange absolut, bergamot and juniper before balancing with magnolia and jasmine and finally closing on tobacco leaf, creamy tonka and heady sandalwood. Part of the Four Corners Of The Earth collection, it’s one to pack in your suitcase before jetting off to sun-drenched climes." Additional notes include mandarin, freesia, tea notes, jasmine, iso e, ambergris and vanilla. At Selfridges in the UK, £145 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
Montabaco Flor (above left) ~ (introduced in late 2021) "Ormonde Jayne’s Montabaco [Flor] Eau de Parfum is a new limited-edition fragrance which brings back all these gorgeous oils to London, Ormonde Jayne’s creative hub and home. Exclusive to Fortnum & Mason, Montabaco [Flor] captures the very essence of our iconic Piccadilly store. A perfect blend and match, the perfume is a tribute to Fortnum’s with its floral notes of freesia, jasmine, water lilies orange flowers and ylang." Additional notes include orange, bergamot, juniper, clary sage, cardamon, rose, violet, tea notes, tobacco leaf, iso e, suede, sandalwood, moss, tonka, ambergris. At Fortnum Mason in the UK, £145 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
Montabaco Ivoire (above center) ~ "As they say, there is only one Harrods, and nothing compares to this majestic building lighting up and commanding a block of Knightsbridge. Montabaco Ivoire is truly an amberesque perfume enriched with saffron, patchouli, musk and Oudh reflecting the pure unadulterated opulence of Harrods."

I will take one of each! 🙂
They would make a nice coffret in travel size, and you could throw in the original plus the Verano.
I have come to like this house. Is there anything you like from them that I need to try?
My favorite is Frangipani, because it is just so happy, but I also like Champaca and Osmanthus, and I think Ta’if is among their best, and I do like Isfarkand even though it’s mostly iso e super with some citrus. (And all of those on my list do have iso e super I think, and pretty sure they are all Geza Schön.)
Ormonde Woman is a fantastic scent that just doesn’t suit me.
I did not care for Evernia, and have mostly ignored her more expensive / limited distribution / luxury releases.
Thanks for the recommendations!
Oddly enough, there is such a coffret! If you sign up for Ormonde Jayne emails, you get alerted about special coffret offers (usually of an original perfume and its flankers) when available. They just had a 4-day deal at the end of Jan for exactly what you described: Montabaco, Montabaco Verano, and these three flankers. You could order them from the website in the UK; from here in the US, you had to contact customer service to order them that way (which I did). Definitely worth signing up for their emails.
Very good to know, thanks!
Same here. I really enjoy all of the Ormonde Jayne scents that I’ve tried. The first spritz of an OJ scent always make me swoon, and I have to actively refrain from immediately purchasing a bottle, any bottle.
Ta’if, as Robin noted, is wonderful. I also like Tolu quite a bit. I haven’t kept up with any recent releases, though.
Ok , Ta’if soubd like it is a must try
I think I saw Ta’if at fragrancebuy.ca Could be wrong.
Yes…could argue that OJ Woman, Tolu and Ta’if are her best.
Delurking to yell at the OJ marketing team: Cuba is NOT in South America.
Never take geography (or history, or sociology, or psychology) lessons from perfume brands 🙂
indeed. :- )
