It's Almost-Friday, plus National Korean American Day and Public Radio Broadcasting Day. RIP Ronnie Spector. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Imaginary Authors + Salt & Straw A Whiff of Waffle Cone.
Reminder: 1/14 will be Foody Friday...wear a gourmand or foody fragrance. (This is a repeat from 2015)
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2022, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Someone here wore TF Lost Cherry yesterday and that seemed like a really good idea, so I’m in a couple spritzes of that. Yesterday I wore SL Rahät Loukoum, the very picture of innocence: Lost Cherry is like its older, worldlier, slightly louche cousin.
Love the word “louche”! Also like Lost Cherry, which I bought in December.
That was me wearing Lost Cherry yesterday! So of course I think you smell wonderful today. ?
Early to the party today!
CP compliant in Fils de Dieu, the best non-gourmand gourmand fragrance around. Seriously, for all its food notes, I would not class it as a foodie scent. I love it, as always. That 30mL is looking emptier by the second.
I keep forgetting that I have that! You smell good.
Thanks!
I think i will wear it tomorrow
Do it! I was originally planning to wear this one on Friday, and a different one today, but meetings got switched around, and I think this is a work-friendlier fragrance, so the frag schedule got switched around too.
Sounds like you would do fine with a 50mL of Fils de Dieu.
Happy Thursday!!
Wish I could say mine was a “happy” thursday…
So.I received the Absalom perfume I was so excited about today. My friend packaged it very neatly and securely in bubble wrap to get it safely to me.I had the most dramatic and careful unwrapping-ceremony,only to find a HOT DAMN MESS inside the black velvet pouch. The sprayhead came loose from the bottle, and most of the contents leaked out(I could smell the perfume even still wrapped in the courier packaging!)A wet seeping, cloying mess(the perfume notes sounded splendid,SO not the case)What a disappointment, even more so because I want to support PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN brands.I contacted the designer who offered to sent a replacement bottle, but after seeing the mess, experiencing the super-cheap packaging and the actual fragrance being not my cup of tea,I said NO THANK YOU.I expected wayyyy more from a brand which seems super-exclusive,super-elusive,and seems to offer excellent haute couture,so where is the attnetion to detail and haute couture packaging of the perfume??(The silver cap that looked heavy on photos???Cheap silver coated plastic).
I have not been this disappointed in ages.I took pics of the disaster and sent it to the brand owner,I was supposed to post gorgeous pics on Insta!Obviously that is not gonna happen….URGH.
Ok.Rant over!
Scent of the day Kayali Vanilla.Edibly good,FANTASTIC packaging, and excellent value for money. The way it ought to be.
For those who want to see the disaster…

Oh, no, what a (series of) disappointment! I hope the day improves for you.
Wow what a disappointment. So sorry this happened to You. After rearing Your post I immediately searched for the Absalom perfume online. What I saw was a gorgeous looking bottle, very intriguing – that’s on the brand’s site. Then I clicked on viewing the disaster that happened to You – wow. The bottle looks really really cheap and kitsch in a negative way. I will say it again: what a disappointment.
Eeek! How disappointing…
Oy.
Like majokkobiachan, I had to look up the fragrance. I totally get you. I love the bottle, the notes, the name! (I’m a sucker for all things Old Testament these days as I wade through Moby-Dick on audible.) It sounds like the fragrance itself was not up to par, in addition to the rinky-tink bottle. 🙁 !
Oh no! I’m so sorry! The notes looked promising but it’s probably a good thing you didn’t love it anyways!
Well, what a disappointment! I’m glad you posted photos and contacted the brand, hopefully things will improve.
what a bummer. they could have invested a bit more in the. bottles.
Those photos are a mess! So sorry for the disappointment.
What a shame — I do love opaque bottles with cool artwork.
Wow, that sucks. There’s simply no other way to describe it.
I’m wearing Demeter Beetroot, for the CP, and because I was in the mood for something earthy, and not sweet.
You smell great and have inspired me with your beetroot.
Perfect choice!
Cappuccino (s) this morning
This week, I am feeling so fatigued. Not sure if its a side effect from getting covid on Christmas but I feel like my mind wants me to be active but my body is like ..no grazie!
Cassiopea by Tiziana T.
I’m sorry you’re struggling! My friends who’ve had Covid definitely dealt with some weeks of unusual fatigue afterwards; it sounds like a common experience. Hopefully you can take it easy and find something engaging for your mind!
That’s good to know I am not alone with this unwanted exhaustion.
I think a good book or movie will help me relax and engage my mind
Ohhh I hope You feel better soon!! Noone deserves to get Covid during christmas 🙁
I certainly hope you are feeling better very soon.
Take it easy, hope your energy returns soon.
I am with cazaubon — take it easy, don’t push yourself!
Yup.
Still exhausted after 6 weeks.
Be kind to yourself. If your body is still tired, don’t push.
Sotd is CdG Rouge – inspired by PriscillaE’s beetroot.
Nice!
SOTD: Breath of God, because I was hurrying out the door and it is the easiest to find, open, and apply of the scents I brought with me. So, not (to my nose) CP compliant, but still good.
I did not get to Cloon Keen yesterday; was busy working with contacts for my course. That visit will have to happen next week. Off to Dublin tomorrow before dawn with my students. If I do manage a sniffing trip while there, I will be sure to report.
Stay safe, everyone.
So the Brown Thomas in Dublin carries Cloonkeen, just FYI! 🙂 If you’re very keen on it.
If you can get to Brown Thomas, then you’ll be near Parfumarija -independent perfume shop in Dublin that is absolutely wonderful and stocks brands like Parfum d’Empire and Roja Dove that aren’t available elsewhere in the country. Excellent sales assistants and a generous welcome. Located closer to Galway is the Burren Perfumery, an independent brand (I haven’t yet managed to try their goods and not sure where they are stocked, but it comes highly recommended). Very glad you made it safely to Ireland!
I’m not exactly CP compliant today, but I’m adjacent in Penhaligon’s Elixir, which has a lot of foodie spices in it. I felt the need for something peppery and spicy today, and it was either that or Perles de Lalique. I managed to have my cake and eat it too by spritzing some Perles in my closet space, as a home spray.
You smell great! Elixir is definitely gourmand to me.
Elixir is wonderful and a great idea for the cp.
Hey there, Spicy!?
Love that one and wish I had bought a bottle.
Ack! Not sure how I did that!
I’m CP compliance in Prada Candy Night today. I get rich chocolate, dark cocoa powder, vanilla/tonka, neroli, and some but not a lot of patchouli. Very comforting after working waaaaay too late last night.
Drinking Snowflake tea again today.
Ugh, hope you get rest tonight Vee!
Yuck. At least tomorrow is Friday.
Wearing Havana Vanille today and thinking of SDV for the CP tomorrow.
Smelling great, Dawn!
Ooh! Great idea! I’m going to copy you!
I might too.
Yesterday I bought a nice makeup artist’s case that I will store… no other than samples and travel sprays in, of course.
Waiting for two things: having some motivation to shower this morning LOL and my mail that’s arriving today that includes my Plum Japonais travel spray that should have been delivered yesterday.
There is also a really cute Victoria’s Secret shirt arriving today as well as a bottle of M. Micallef Petit Coeur that I have luckily found and ordered immediately. Maybe a little over a year ago I was in the process of purchasing Petit Coeur on M. Micallef site but my order kept getting rejected, only to realize much later that I was spelling the name on the card with a small caption or something like that. Anyways by the time I realized it – the baby perfume bottles were gone from the website. Well now I have one arriving today for my toddler.
That sounds like a good way to store your collection.
I’m in Ambre Russe today and claiming CP points for its gingerbread heart. Only one spray because I’m heading out to my preserve today to meet with an environmental ed coordinator who I’ve never met, and I don’t want her first impression to be “weird preserve manager who showed up in a cloud of perfume.” I’ve noticed that I do wear fragrance when I’m doing professional fieldwork — although I always pick something that will harmonize with the land — but never if I’ve hiking for pleasure on my time off. I suppose something in my subconscious needs a little perfume to offset the compulsory nature of “work,” even if “work” just consists of going for a hike.
Interesting observation! I don’t hike professionally, but I do kind of have work perfumes and weekend perfumes.
I really like Ambre Russe, so you smell great!
Thank you! And the work-vs-weekend perfume distinction makes sense. I find I generally don’t need No.19 on the weekends, and I can’t really see myself wearing Sunshine and Pancakes in any other setting than weekend pancake breakfasts while still in my jammies.
Oh, I’m sort of the opposite with perfume and work. There are some scents I don’t wear to work because I don’t want them “tainted” with something unfun! I want to keep them special. Hahahaha. But yes, I definitely have times when I need a special scent to help me get through a work day, so I guess I don’t have hard rule on that.
That’s so interesting! I do have a few too-special-for-work fragrances (Vol de Nuit comes to mind), plus a few NSFW fragrances that I nonetheless occasionally wear to work, merely to amuse myself with the sensation that I’m getting away with something like wearing lingerie on top of my clothes in a professional setting. The more people around me start putting on suits, the more I start putting on patent leather heels and Sous le Vent. *Somebody* has to do battle with the cultural hegemony of squareness!
BTW, there are many scents from Parfum d’Empire I want to sample, and Ambre Russe is at the top of that list!
It’s quite good! I generally put ambers in the “meh” category, but this one is interesting to me — a nice blend of something spare, dry, elegant, and desert-air-esque with something lusciously spiced and sweet. Kind of a desert-meets-dessert fragrance.
How was your coordinator meeting? A good one, hopefully?
It was lovely — just a few hours of strolling in the woods looking for mushrooms (it was a scoping visit for a mushroom-focused educational outing) with a really lovely woman. Alas, the outing itself was cancelled today in light of the current pandemic situation, but I don’t disagree with the need to cancel and at least we got in our walk today!
Straight up Angel today, from my 1990s mini, yum.
The sovereign of foodie scents…
Yep.
Hello there, scent cousin! That vintage Angel must be something else… ?
The word is luscious 🙂
Yum.
Working on emptying an unlabelled decant of a DS & Durga. I like it well enough, if not enough to buy more if it, and a good thing too if I can’t remember its name…
That’s funny!
Well, I THOUGHT once we were out of the holidays, I would slow down on my cathartic spending spree. Well catharsis is going to turn into pain if I don’t stop. Just blind ordered Penhaligon’s orange blossom perfume (on sale and DO NOT TELL ME YOU HATE IT) and some soap. Goodness!
Still revisiting decants I rejected at some point. I’m in Figment today, which is slightly CP compliant. This has an addictive note. Not sure I would put on the “buy list” (if I had one), but I will take the decant out of purgatory and put it in rotation (if I had such a system, so just saying!).
I hope you love your new Penhaligon’s things Oakland Fresca! I just opened a box of Yves Rocher bath stuff so I will not throw stones 🙂
I thought I was done with perfume purchases, too. Nope! Found a deal on something I had been stalking for a while. You’ve got company!
What did you get?!
I found a travel spray of Love Osmanthus on sale.
I’m plotting a purchase right now. I don’t know what it will be, but I really feel the need for new perfume.
Me too! And of course I “need” nothing.
I’m in Tauer’s PHI, which is not really a gourmand, but it gives me the same feeling and experience when wearing it. So I guess I’m in the vicinity of the CP.
Non Perfume News:
I had a blast opening my purchases yesterday! They’ve been here in Prescott waiting for a while and I’ve been anticipating playing with everything.
I ordered some stuff from Colourpop when they had a 50% off sale not too long ago and the weird thing was they sent TWO of the exact same order. I checked the billing and I was only charged once. I love their matte and metallic super shock shadows, as well as their blushes. One box had quite a few shattered shadows. The other box was completely intact..! Very strange.
The two Lisa Eldridge lip glosses are really stunning! I bought Myth, which is a deep purpley-pink berry, and Blush, which is the perfect “My lips but better” color for my complexion, a subdued mauve. They wear wonderfully and are very nurturing. I’m glad I got them and I will enjoy them, but probably won’t repurchase. The formula and colors are very well done but they should be, considering the price.
The Alien Goddess is a fail! ☹️ On first spray it reminded me strongly of the older L’Artisan perfume Havana Vanille. There is a thick tropical note in there- either coconut or banana, maybe both? That particular note just gets “hung up” in the back of my throat and makes me convulsively swallow…gross, I know. I can see why this is categorized as a “summer” vanilla.
Also, in the makeup world, I’m enjoying exploring Danessa Myricks line. Everything is so long wearing, stunning colors and textures, and you can go super editorial or very subdued, if you want to just have that minimal angelic glow that highlights your good features while downplaying your less favorable attributes. ?
Very Windy post, I know but thought some makeup junkies might be interested!
Stay well! ?
Thanks for all the makeup info! Always appreciated!
YW!
Myth is my fave gloss (the lipstick version looks a bit too dark for me). Was it you that ordered her liquid eyeshadows? Am tempted by the Liza shade, but having always used powder shadows, am afraid a liquid format may be beyond my skillz.
Exactly what I thought about the lipstick. The gloss has a bit more transparency to it that makes it more wearable for me.
I did order a couple of the liquid eye shadows, but I haven’t had a chance to sit down with and take my time. I did get Liza as well, so I’ll report back. Everything I saw online states less is more, and they layer well so start of with just a little product and layer as needed to achieve the desired look.
Glad the LE lippies are a success! I’ve heard great things about Danessa Myricks. I’m always looking for ways to downplay my less favorable features!
I have a couple of her eye shadows- Ballerina which is a silver/pink, rocket which is a grungy brown/plum, and Alien, which is a duochrome. They are stunning and easy to work with. You can go full on, or really shear them out. Either way, they’re beautiful. I have hooded deep-set eyes and they DO NOT crease, last forever, and come off easily with micellar water, or whatever you cleanse with. I don’t use any lid prep either. Totally recommend trying a shade you don’t find intimidating and giving it a whirl. I think the woman is genius with mad skillz, creativity, and I hope she goes a long long way. Also, many of her products are dual or triple purpose, so you can really minimize your makeup if that’s your thing.
Oh man. Now I’m browsing her site and “trying” on eye shadows. Luckily, my photo is so unflattering that I’m not tempted to hit “buy” ! But there is a Sephora right next to Trader Joe’s, so….
buying makeup online is something that i dont like very much. I was smittten with Denonas Glam palette, but when i saw it at Sephoras, i was glad that i passed it up. I would only use 5 shades of 15, and for that price, thats a no for me.
I have one of her mini palettes and I was stunned the first time I used it. My eyes looked like they were professionally done for the first time in my life. I was amazed!
Which mini palette, if you don’t mind sharing that info?
i have the mini glam and i love the middle shade called Anjo. i just hoped it would be a cooler toned palette.
I have an Lisa E gloss and I like it
I think she’s a class act. I wouldn’t mind having one of those rings she sells on her site…specifically the rhodolite garnet. ?
I’m hardly wearing any makeup anymore but I do enjoy reading about it, so thanks.
Wow. Just one thought: since when is there an “older” L’Artisan Havana Vanille? Wow time flies so fast!! It feels like just yesterday Havana Vanille first came out!!
CP compliant in Seattle Chocolate by Olympic Orchids.
It’s incense and chocolate. I like it, but when my spouse passed me by he as very much not impressed. “What is this?” sniff, sniff. “smells like…” frowns. “christmas? And…” sniff sniff. “Something else.” Walks away.
LOL…not trying to hide his feelings, is he? Oh well, if you love it that’s what matters 🙂
Incense and chocolate? Not sure I’ve ever come across that combination of notes before. Is it dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
Your comment made me walk to the kitchen, rummage through the food drawer for some chocolate, and smell it. I don’t think I can detect a difference BUT we seem to be all out of any dark chocolate save for some randomly floating around bits that aren’t very scented anymore. 🙂
Ummagumma also has incense and chocolate if you’re curious about the combo!
I will have to re-sniff my sample of Ummagumma then! All I remember from it was that it was a HEAVY fragrance. It was way too much when I tried it in warmer weather.
Cracking up about your spouse’s reaction!
After being quite ill after my booster yesterday if felt better today, just a bit weak and dizzy, so stayed home today again. tomorrow i will work again.
Wore 5 sprays of Bottega Veneta today and took a nice, but slow walk with the boyfriend in great sunny and cold winter weather.
My arm hurt for one week after my booster shot
Same. Plus spent a whole day in bed.
You smell wonderful!
Hope you are fully restored asap!
Strangely, my booster shot was the mildest of the 3 I have had. Tired for the day of the shot, a sore arm for 3 days, and a bruise for 2 weeks.
I’m wearing waffle cone too! Its already faded from this mornings application, so I think I’ll add some a lab on fire paris l.a. over top of that.
We are scent twins!
Great minds! 🙂
Perfect follow up scent!
GRRRRRRR 4:30 am start.
finally got off meetings and got in shower at 9:30
ll Rose 31 today. And I can smell it on me, which good.
$125.00 to have garbage disposal fixed after dropping glass down it.
That could have been almost a bub of Box of Eels.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR
Ugh.
The joys of home repair!
oh no!
Ouch. So sorry.
Phooey!
Yikes! 4:30 and the garage disposal?
Tomorrow has to be better.
Thursday!
RIP to Ronnie Spector! I was a little kid and loved the Eddie Money song! When parents finally figured out who was behind the refrain that I tortured them with by singing it all over the house, they hauled up all of their old ‘wall of sound’ and rock albums with the Ronettes.
This lead me to discover her other works after escaping Phil Spector. She got to rebuild her life and her career. RIP to a tough cookie.
SOTD: a combo: The Brazil Nut body cream from Trader Joe’s- which really does have a delicious pistachio/salted caramel scent- and Ambre Vanille from Laura Mercier.
I watched the video about 10 times last night.
Take me home tonight….
I do seriously think that Be My Baby is about the most perfect pop song ever.
I’m scent triplets with Robin and chichibrooklyn. It’s a good day because these things pretty much don’t happen!
SOTD = Imaginary Authors A Whiff of Waffle Cone
Burnt caramel and vanilla. ? but does not last long although longer today for sure!
https://www.instagram.com/p/CYrnC_VOlsH/?utm_medium=copy_link
The great clean up continues! Besides my usual one bag of trash, I had 2 more and 3 stacks of magazines. I do have to be more generous in deciding what to keep versus what to give away. I can see how things can accumulate unchecked. Onwards!
Hey triplet!!
It does not last long, it’s true. But it is darned good while it does.
Agreed!
Impressed with the decluttering. That was supposed to be my New Year’s house thing, but I’ll restart again. Keep the inspiration coming!
I want to sniff you. And Robin. Politely.
LOL. I had to revise my expectations and do things slowly but surely. It will take me a long time but better longer than giving up before getting started.
What is your clean out system?
One room at a time?
I wish! No, it’s one little section at a time. At the rate I’m going, the living room make take 2 months although I do the clean ups in other parts of the house as well. My goal is to always have an extra garbage bag in my bin and so far so good with some garbage days having 2 extra bags!
You go!
Thanks!
Popping by later than usual to say that I’ve taken a day off work and started it with breakfast in a local cafe. It’s the first week back and things are still a bit quieter at work, so I took the opportunity for a four day week.
Softly spicy-foody in Bulgari’s Omnia.
Oh how nice, and you smell great!
You smell lovely! Such a great scent.
Food Friday, what?! Sorry to have missed this week.
SOTD: Vouloir Être Ailleurs C.G.
Friday can’t come quick enough. Second week of the new year has been a doozy. Ready for a long weekend of R&R.
Hang in — we’re almost there, floragal!
Happy Almost Weekend!
One more day!
What an aptly named perfume. Exactly how I feel right now.
I told someone not to take my Monday away! Despite having the last two weeks of the year off, these past two weeks were pretty brutal.
Hello everyone! I forgot to put on any perfume today so just dropping by to say hi ?
*waves to DolceVita*
Hiya!
Hello Hello!
Hi!
?
Sampling Nourouz from DSH for its tamarind and paprika.Today is probably a little too warm out for it.
Skipping CP today, I tried Rose Barbare this morning and it wasn’t quite cutting it so I just spritzed on some Encens Mythique. Bliss!
I have been so stressed about Covid recently. My father who is in his early 70s decided to come out of retirement and take a consulting job, for which he had to travel. I’ve just been sick with worry about his trip, but now he’s finally home. He seems healthy, and is isolating from my mother until he can test himself in a day or two. Who even knows when to test?! Hahahahaha. All I can do is pray.
Tulipani,
? for your father and mother. Wishing you relief from this difficult worry.
Fingers crossed for negative test results.
Oh boy! I hope he tests negative! You’re right to be worried though.
Probably gonna spritz some Angel, because I’m a copycat.
Feeling much better from covid. I’ve got some concerns, but I’m happy to be alive.
Here we go again:
I will be seeing the same individual that attends large indoor gatherings frequently. Have to or things will go south in my home.
That’s my whining for the day.
Maybe wear a LOT of Angel?
Good idea. And bring a decant.
Oof! I’m glad you’re feeling better, but sorry you need to go through this 🙁
Thank you. It means a lot.
I’m happy you are alive too??
That’s sweet!
And funny.?
Oy! I hope you make the best of the situation!
Glad I didn’t see that picture before I went grocery shopping today!
Many thanks to the NSTers who mentioned that earlier is better when it comes to getting groceries. That turned out to be true in my case as well, although I did not go right at store opening. Between 9am and 10am is perfect. I had been going around lunchtime, and it seems that a bunch of people in my area had the same idea.
Something else I noticed was that the earlier shoppers seemed to be more vigilant about wearing masks. Granted, a one-time observation isn’t much of a data set, but it is worth noting.
Glad I am done with that task for a while now.
SOTD = back in Angel Eau Croisiere EdT, 2020 version.
Hi!
You smell fantastic! I loved that one.
Hiya! I’m getting a teeny bit of a Womanity vibe with this version of Angel. But I liked Womanity, too. It’s one of my ultimate very cold weather perfumes.
I have Womanity. It is still wrapped up, because reviews scared me.
Time to unwrap that Big Boy.
I found it to be a spicy, somewhat savory fig (fruit, not leaf) perfume. YMMV… people’s experiences are all over the map with that one!
This Angel is in my cart pretty much all the time. I have the 2019 version and keep thinking do I need another Angel flanker? I am pretty sure the answer is yes. Lol.
My kinda gal.
The bottle for the 2020 version is gorgeous.
Lol
Since the pandemic started, I’ve been doing my grocery shopping around 7:30 in the morning on Wednesdays, before work. Nary a crowd!
I’m not sure that my local grocery store is open that early! Last time I checked their hours, they opened at 8am.
I haven’t found the best time for me and my choices are limited too unless I want to get up really early. I think Wegmans is open from 6AM on.
Wegman’s is a grocery option for me, but it’s further away and in the same shopping center as Costco. Sometimes I’m not in the mood to deal with that traffic situation…
I went with Shunkoin today. It isn’t a gourmand per se. It has a weird opening which smells like a bell pepper. I’ve come to enjoy it. Although, I hated it at first. Then it segues to coconut-sand dry down. This is also odd because it’s supposed to be cherry blossom scent. This is a complete departure from my usual preferences but I love it anyway.
So no cherry blossom at all?
Not for me although others may smell it.
What an unusual combination of notes!
It’s offbeat but very wearable.
Have you tried Diptyque Le Grand Tour Venise? It has a green pepper note, not the usual fare!
I am cousins again with Jalapeno. I am wearing Aura edp.
We finished up inventory at work today. I am so glad it’s over. We do it twice a year and it’s very stressful.
At least you smelled good while doing inventory!
Dunno why, but Aura flat out didn’t work for me. It smells nice on other people, though.
It’s definitely one I have to be in the mood for.
Phew! You must be relieved!
And exhausted!
Kudos for surviving it! You smell nice! Back when I was a bit more circumspect with my perfume-wearing, 2 sprays from a sample was enough!
Never tried Aura. Love all things Angel and a dear friend has me hooked on Muse.
Never did inventory, either. Trying Aura sounds like more fun.
Your work is tough!
Robin, that looks DELICIOUS.
Like some others, I was trying to wear TF Lost Cherry, but couldn’t find my decant; there’s a very good chance I used it all up, unfortunately. But I did find a surprise decant of Diptyque l’eau de Tarocco, so I’m in that, decidedly off-CP.
I’m waiting for some really important news (which could come as late as tomorrow evening without being late) and feeling sick to my stomach as I do. Terribly distracting, can’t get any work done. Considering stuffing my face with unhealthy foods.
Sending you virtual calming nature pictures and deep breaths, dear Koyel.
Thank you, ringthing <3
Waiting for news is the worst!
I tend to clean when I am anticipating news. I also eat chocolate. I hope the outcome is what you are hoping for. ?
Thank you, lillyjo <3 you inspired me to swiftly eat two delicious Lindt balls.
Hope you get that important news sooner rather than later!
And chocolate is always a good idea…
Thank you, Jalapeno <3 still no news :-/
A new job?
If you are waiting for important news, coming soon, do whatever you need. Waiting is worse than whatever news, good or bad. ?
Late check in. I’m in JD Dame Duality, a comfy spiced amber.
Smelling great!
I love Duality! So warm. You smell great!
CP points for me today, in one of the scents from 4160 Tuesdays’ January Joy Box. It’s called British Summer, and it smells like ice cream in cones, plus other summery scents.
Well my perfume collection has been growing. I definitely have many gourmand choices in my bottles, travelers and samples. So what shall it be tomorrow? Don’t know yet. I tried The Moon and I today and have to say it is very realistic of a tea fragrance. Not the longest lasting but at least a gourmand as it smells ?.
Also my Plum Japonais arrived today and oh oh oh… Achingly gorgeous. Right up my alley. Falls in this category (for me) that I don’t have a name for yet but it includes: Winter Palace and Mandarine-Mandarin.
Also Petit Coeur arrived today and the bottle is super cute but the scent is just… Beautiful!!!! Just mint, lemon and bergamot are the notes but it just smells so innocent, pretty and special. Daughter gets a spray of that tomorrow LOL
Delighted that Plum Japonais is such a wonderful perfume for you!
