Vilhelm Parfumerie has launched London Funk, a new fragrance in the brand's City Collection.
The slap of a wood bat on a leather ball, followed by intense giggling and the sound of fabric rustling. It’s five o’clock at Biba in London and Jim Morrison is leading a young Debbie Harry astray with a Long Island Iced tea, and a game of cricket in the stock room. Can you smell all the possibilities that curled into a trippy London afternoon in the Seventies? They certainly could.
The notes include juniper, basil, cardamom, bergamot, blackcurrant bud, driftwood, vetiver, yerba maté, cedarwood, ambergris and sandalwood.
Vilhelm Parfumerie London Funk is available in 20 or 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I laughed when I read the description! Marketing works on me sometimes, because I’d love to try this one.
It is a pretty good backstory, as backstories go.
I’d like to say it’s the notes swaying me to try it, but I know it’s really the marketing. At least we’re self-aware that the marketing works. That’s something, right?!

I have Morning Chess from this line, and it’s one of my favorite leathers. Well, actually, all of my leather frags are my favorites, lol!
They do a good job, generally. Wish the 20 ml bottles were cheaper!
