Berlin-based indie natural brand April Aromatics will launch Wild Summer Crush, a new fragrance, later this week.
Remembering my summer crush… Oh, that memory of a hot, sultry, summer night in the fruit orchards of southern Italy. We escaped the crowded party and found refuge amongst the citrus trees and rose bushes that grew in luxurious abundance. [...]
A blast of Grapefruit perfume gets you out of a dark mood… an uplifting, full of light, fresh and powerful fruit bomb with a touch of silky woods. Tobacco, barely noticeable in the dry down and a special Rose from Uhuru land. This fragrance is succulent, opulent, and seductive, with a hint of enchanting coconut. Summer at its peak reminds the darker season will come, and this kissed by the sun, natural, perfume creation is what our minds and spirits long for. This scent can bring relief from extreme heat or will transport one into the heat of a singular, spectacular, summer night, while remembering the feeling of being in love… your summer crush.
Additional notes feature mandarin, green tea blend, fruit peel, neroli, yuzu and silky woods accord.
April Aromatics Wild Summer Crush will be €159 for 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

Sounds very nice, but ouch, that price… Just checked their website but even samples are very expensive. Haven’t heard from this brand but I’m interested – saw there is one very positive review on nst. Would like to check them out. I read they are Berlin based but there is no Berlin stockist listed on their website. Does somebody know if they have their own shop in Berlin? I happen to be there around Christmas, could get dangerous ☺️?
They are not cheap, but they do nice things. Sorry I don’t know if they have a shop!
I’m still chewing on the phrase “succulent, opulent, and seductive,” trying to decide if it’s brilliant or stupid.
LOL…best not to think about it.
I have mixed reviews for this line. I love Calling All Angels, but they have a couple that I could barely smell. This one sounds interesting to me, I guess lots of natural green, some big flowers and a goodly dose of musky musk would be good if it lasts – being an all natural line, I find these offerings to be pretty transient for the price, which is why I don’t own a bottle of Calling All Angels right now…
I’ve split a bunch although not lately. This sounds interesting.
