Lush has launched Shade, a new unisex fragrance.
A warm, woody, gender-neutral perfume with the comforting pairing of sandalwood and olibanum at its heart. This fragrance is the newest addition to the Lush perfume range.
Using sandalwood extracted from protected and sustainable trees in West Timor and olibanum sourced from the Dayaxa region in Somaliland which has full traceability down to harvester level, Shade is a fragrance with a conscience.
Lush Shade is available now at Lush in the UK, in 30 and 100 ml, or in a 6g solid. There is also a matching washcard.

Not available on the Canadian Lush website yet, but when it shows up, well, the chance of my buying the solid is pretty high.
I see they’ve brought back Ectoplasm for Hallowe’en, even if only in the form of their Shower Slime. It’s an incredibly bright citrus scent that I love.
I have been meaning to go to a Lush store for ages, but so far have not been in a mall since pre-covid. If this gets to the states, I’ll go…am all out of happy hippie anyway.
I’d really want to sniff. It sounds great, but I have been Lush perfumes have been really hit or miss lately. They used to all be hits for me and now the prices are exorbitant.
The prices are really so much higher. I know they use decent raw materials, so I don’t feel as insulted as I do by many luxury brands, but still.
I love how you put it Robin- “I don’t feel as insulted” That’s so right!
This one sounds very nice.. I also miss the little 30 ml bottles.
Lush used to do 10-mL bottles: I have one of Lust. I wish they packaged all their scents that way, and then did coffrets….
The Olibum is a rare commodity. Tigerlily’s natural perfumer is practically begging people to practice conservation of it.
Thank you Robin, this sounds very good, two of my favorite notes.
