Victoria’s Secret Tease Creme Cloud ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 20 July 2021 13 Comments

Victoria's Secret has introduced Tease Crème Cloud, a new "airy gourmand" fragrance. Tease Crème Cloud is a sort of flanker to 2007's Sexy Little Things, via 2010's Sexy Little Things Noir Tease (which became Noir Tease for short), and which was a flanker to 2008's Sexy Little Things Noir.

Don’t quit your daydream. Introducing Tease Crème Cloud, the soft and dreamy new sister to the Tease fragrance you love. The fragrance starts with a creamy, light-as-air sweetness: whipped Vanilla Meringue. Then it opens up to a luminous floral heart of exotic Santal Flower—the rare bloom of the Sandalwood tree. At the base, sheer Amber and a bare musk accord add warmth that softly floats on skin.

Victoria's Secret Tease Crème Cloud is available in 7, 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Their flanker-naming system is turning into one of those immense family trees where everyone has eight children and all the second cousins once removed are marrying one another.

At least they know when the names get too long! There is a fragrance called just “Tease”, but it was not released under that name.

I have never stepped into a Victoria’s Secret store nor do I recall ever having experienced any of their fragrances. Am I missing anything? This one sounds a bit like Ariana Grande Cloud, which I do like.

Victoria’s Secret fragrances remind me of my high school days… Our locker room always smelled like a mix of all Victoria’s Secret body mists and perfumes!!

In general they are not perfumista bait, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Just depends on what you’re looking for.

In the old mall days, the VS beauty section was so highly scented it was hard to try the actual fragrances, so I usually got discouraged and left. Maybe it is better now.

(But will add — many people say this about Lush too!)

I say it about Lush. I’ve bought solid perfumes there and gotten them home to discover they smelled literally nothing like I thought they did. A Lush store is the olfactory equivalent of the entire orchestra playing different tunes at the same time fortissimo.

I already love this one. Milky toned bottle, cloud creme – yum!! Totally right up my alley.

These names are now getting to the MCU movie naming conventions!

Oh good Jalapeno, I am not the only one. Lol! The boys at my high-school would have had a field day with this name.
