French ready-to-wear line Zadig & Voltaire has launched This is Me!, a new unisex fragrance for children.
Kids' perfume This is Me! 30ML, fresh, addictive and comforting with tender notes of vanilla milk musk that melt into the softness of cashmere and sandalwood. A carefree spirit, the affirmation of a relaxed lifestyle: the desire to be happy, to be happy together. At Zadig&Voltaire, children are also rock 'n' roll. #JOINTHEZADIGTRIBE
Zadig & Voltaire This is Me! was developed by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui. It is available in 30 ml Eau de Toilette.

Good grief…children don’t need to be wearing perfume…especially musky ones! Where are IFRA and FDA when REAL issues of toxicity are at stake?
Kids should smell like Play-do and cookies!
If you’re going to worry about children’s exposure to synthetic musks, this is in all truth probably the least of your worries. There are musks in so many consumer products…and many, many scented products are marketed to young children.
R: so true…thinking scented laundry detergents, fabric softeners, dryer sheets…all that is right next to their skin in clothing, blankets, etc. Next time I cut myself I’ll see if my blood smells of white musk…with all the perfume I wear.
Strange to have a perfume aimed squarely at children that brags in its ad copy about it being ‘addictive’ !
Ha, true!
Vanilla musk, cashmere, sandalwood? Pretty sure I’ve seen this combination many times in other adult oriented niche releases 😀
It could be so much worse…like the Star Wars perfumes Zara was selling about 5 years ago. My little Star Wars geek saw that and had. to. have. it. And, man, does that stuff REEK. Allegedly it is a floral fruity, according to Fragrantica…but I honestly can’t tell, because it’s so screechy, like the fragrance equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. And I cannot get rid of it (though fortunately she never wears it any more), because it reminds her of Germany. It is a curse.
So I’d happily pay about 5x more for something halfway decent for a kid who thinks she should have perfume but at 6 doesn’t really have any clue yet.
(Now that she’s older, there’s actually hope for her, thank heavens…she likes a lot of what I wear.)
