Did anyone catch the Persolaise interview with Antoine Lie on YouTube? It is really interesting, and Antoine Lie mentioned the perfumer he most admires is Jacques Cavallier, the nose behind all of these. Antoine said the Jacques Cavallier has technical mastery and artistry and that it is uncommon for perfumers to be great at both. Has anyone smelled any of them? I like the simplicity of the bottles.
I have never smelled a single one.
And probably not worth putting a nose on. Too many and when I see this I always fear the spaghetti theory of fragrance and that is release a whole bunch of sub par fragrances and hope one sticks to the wall. We should probably all pass. What a waste of the talents of Monsieur Cavallier…..
I just watched that interview. Antoine is my new crush now, lol.
