Penhaligon’s The Inimitable William Penhaligon ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 17 November 2020 5 Comments

Penhaligon’s has launched The Inimitable William Penhaligon, a new addition to their Portraits collection.

Majestic and chic. Like a good friend, stimulating and comforting in equal measure. Like great art and music, uplifting. Composed in expert, meticulous detail, but with strong, confident brush strokes - William Penhaligon's own scent.

Beyond distinguished. A timeless classic, since 2020. Created with Vetiver, one of perfumery's master ingredients. Earthy, warm and fresh. Woven inside an Oriental structure, one of perfumery's mistresses of sophistication.

Additional notes for the woody oriental include bergamot, jasmine, incense, cedar, sandalwood and ambrox.

Penhaligon’s The Inimitable William Penhaligon is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

A timeless classic since 2020 ?I do like the way they get away with a satire of their own audience!

Penhaligon’s is not among my favorite houses. That said, I’ve never turned my nose away from anything with vetiver and Incense. ?

I dislike this bottle enough that I’d just as soon not love the juice…but yes, vetiver and incense always sounds good.
