The (almost) daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 10 July 2020 12 Comments

From Corpus, natural deodorant in No. Green: "Corpus is made for people who don’t want to sacrifice quality for the sake of going natural. Corpus has refined and redesigned what a natural formula can be. The result is a deodorant that goes above and beyond what you may have come to expect from “natural" - a deodorant with elevated scent profiles and a no-compromise vegan formula using only plant and mineral based ingredients." With bergamot, pink lemon, orange blossom and cardamom, $24 for 75g at Beautyhabit.

I was given a three pack of their mini deodorants by my rich sister-in-law and ended up buying one full size. They’re really good!

I very much felt like, “Are you KIDDING?” with the price, but I can go through a whole day of 90 degree, 80% humidity weather in this and follow it up with a workout and…NO stink. None. And no rash, which I basically usually always get from deodorants (natural and not, baking soda and not, my body is just into rashes). Zero staining or white marks, even on Black silk tank tops. ? And I only need like two swipes, so it’s lasting forever. I’m honestly shocked by how good it is and sad that I’m now the lady with the $24 deodorant (and beat-up 17-year-old car). ?

OK, same question that I asked sistine…which scent did you love?

I have both Third Rose and California. Third Rose reminds me of Stella, which I like, so that’s a good thing. ? I don’t have a frag comparison for California, but I like it even slightly more? Both are pleasant and actually stay all day, but not overwhelming (so they don’t compete with my perfume! the important things…). They’re subtle without totally disappearing.

Okay…so I bought it. I got the “Third Rose” scent. I have to use aluminum-free deodorants and Tom’s is not that effective. If it works, the price will be worth it.

I use the “natural” one from Nivea, I have been using that one for years but I am tempted by this one

Totally sold, the price is absurd but I’ve just bought one from the European site. Just hoping it lasts for 6 months…

I make my own deodorant but it stains and it’s not as effective as I would like it to be.
If this deodorant works, I’m a happy girl. Bought the green scent one, promise to report back!

I think I’ve been paying that much for my Donna Karan Cashmere Mist deodorant. If it works well I’d buy it!
