Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 July 2020 2 Comments

Italian niche line Acqua di Parma will launch Colonia Futura, a new unisex fragrance. Colonia Futura is a flanker to Acqua di Parma Colonia, and is intended to preserve the traditions of the house while moving towards a sustainable future.

The composition features ingredients that are of 99% natural origin, and the packaging has been updated with recycled and/or recyclable materials.

The notes for the aromatic fougère include bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, pink pepper, lavender, sage, woods and vetiver.

Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura will be available in Eau de Cologne and matching body products.

Update: the description from Acqua di Parma...

Colonia Futura is Acqua di Parma’s declaration of love for nature where a vibrant explosion of wonderfully combined yet individually distinct natural ingredients brings a transparent essence that is vibrantly alive. The fragrance opens with a luminous spark of bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon with touches of pink pepper. A dynamic opening that softens in the heart where the herbaceous freshness of Lavender duets with the aromatic Clary Sage. A harmony that concludes perfectly with a base where the Vetiver brings its woody touch through earthy and textured accents.

Colonia Futura is available in 20, 50, 100 and 180 ml.

I have never smelled the original.
Is this something I must sniff out?

It is a great scent that I don’t love. If you haven’t already, I’d read Kevin’s review (linked above in post), it’s accurate.
