Monday, alas, and Vita Sackville-West's birthday. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm trying Diptyque Eau Capitale, courtesy of hajusuuri.
Reminder: 3/13 is National Jewel Day...wear your blingiest, most attention-grabbing perfume.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2020, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Gorgeous picture! In a roundabout way, it reminds me of Eeyore, who was always rather sad and would eat thistles.
It’s sunny here today, for once. SOTD is Encens Flamboyant, as I couldn’t find my Musc Nomade.
Ah, that is roundabout! I picked it just because it was taken at Sissinghurst, Vita Sackville West’s garden.
It’s a perfect illustration of how my mind works! Randomly roundabout 🙂
Oh, I’m wearing AG’s Musc Nomade today, we were nearly twins!
I love Musc Nomade, you smell gorgeous.
Thank you!
One of my HG incense scents. You smell(ed) gorgeous today!
Good morning Y’all!
Going bright and fresh in Versace Versense. It finally feels like spring might be just around the corner, and Versense always feels springy to me!
Yep, seeing a lot of buds and greenery around here, too! ?
My wisteria is blooming! 🙂
We are expecting a high of 69, yay!
#PerfectWeather 🙂
Not on CP, wearing L’Artisan Piment Brulant. I feel sleepy and tired today, and this fresh peppery scent is an excellent winter/early spring tonic.
Sleepy and tired due to the time change? I think there will be a lot of that going around today.
No, the time change is in three weeks. It never affects me.
Just overworked, I think. Things should get easier on Wednesday.
Ugh, sorry to hear that. I hope things do get easier on Wednesday!
I’m wearing Smell Bent Florist’s Fridge. With warmer weather I’m craving some spring florals, other than roses.
I might join you in La Chasse before the day is out 🙂
SOTD Chant d’Arômes
Shalimar tea..
Having a Guerlain morning
Sporing a new tartan blazer in blue, trying out my first Charlotte tilbury lippy
Which lippy? My Sephora has a limited selection of CT, but matte is no bueno for me.
Still trying to finish more decants that are 2mls or less left. I may stick with that project for the rest of the week.
Today, I am wearing and saying goodbye to Tauer Lonesome Rider. Never thought it was going to become a skin scent after 2 hours. I remember it being stronger, or maybe not! ?
Happy Monday, everyone!
Congratulations on continuing your No Buy! That’s awesome!
Thank you! Trying my best!
Apres L’Ondee…so pretty, but not jewel like, I heard it is being discontinued? Why stop now? Hold on Guerlain and it will come back in fashion? Maybe not.
SOTO…I’m lucky I can scent my office. I bought a Trapp wax melt – florist fridge. Very potent, so I have kept burning the same chip. Very fresh and enjoyable, I might put a base oil in next time and put in a smaller chip.
Seriously, they are discontinuing AlO??
Well, i’m pretty sure I read that here in the comments, hopefully I’m not spreading rumors ?
I’m wearing Parisienne, which I like very much, but not really participating in the CP. The thing is that I don’t generally like big, blingy or loud perfumes on me and anything I have that could be big, I just wear a tiny dab. I’ll think what I can do for Friday. It’s fun because it makes me think about my collection and how to look at it in different ways.
In other news, I’m starting my WFH period – we’ve been asked to work from home until April 3rd (I’m in Seattle) unless absolutely essential. (What’s essential? Life and death? Will anything be better after April 3rd??) It was nice not to commute this morning, but I’d rather keep work at work for the most part, even though I often finish things up at home. There may be a little perfume-ordering going on during this stressful time– just sayin’, Donatella.
Is it just your employer or Seattlelites (??? is that the right term?) in general?
We are expecting that our campus will eventually close down, this week is spring break anyway, but we’re all supposed to think about we would carry on remotely…
I work for UW, but on the administrative side of things. My Facebook and Amazon sons who live in Seattle have been asked to work from home as well.
And the county (King County) asked those who could work from home, to do so.
Ooooooof. Good luck getting thru your WFH period.
Up bright and early this morning to get my van serviced. Sitting in the waiting room, fanning some some SB Incensed over motor oil and gasoline fumes, doing my best to beautify the automotive world. ?
Apropos of nothing, I have become obsessed with thru-hiking and have been thinking about doing part of the AT when I get to NC. But then, I honestly evaluate my Fluff Factor and my aching knees and hips, realizing that particular horse may have left the barn long ago.
Here’s a treat if you like Natalie Merchant, who I’ve loved since the 80’s.
https://youtu.be/Mx5Iq0LTYw0
You can thru-hike Deva! People of all ages and abilities do it all the time! (Well, a few hundred a year anyway…)
My middle kid Lauren (who’s in my Instagram hiking pictures) is determined to thru-hike the AT after high school. I think it would be a good thing, IF she’s trained on all the equipment and gets all the information she can. She was born to hike and be outside; my other 2 kids can’t stand it! LOL
Anyhoo, she and I have a little goal to section hike the Pinhoti trail in a year or two. It’s a 335 mile hike from Alabama to N.Georgia, and would be a good starter thru-hike for the inexperienced! We’d like to do a few days of it anyway to see if she really has what it takes…. (I probably don’t have what it takes, but I will do it to help her learn…) 🙂
A 335 mile hike is huge. How long can you take off work? I started hiking again two years ago after a 20 year hiatus. What I found, but this is as always subjective, is that I could do difficult days of up to 22 kms per day of hikes that are labeled “for the experienced hiker”. What I struggle with are LONG days, even if only of moderate difficulty. After 25km my body just goes: enough already. As well, I don’t want to be lugging a tent and lots of food. The old back, you know.
I would definitely section hike it….I don’t think I’ve got what it takes to do a thru-hike? I think it’s as much mental preparation as physical in some ways. The Pinhoti is about 3 weeks for an experienced hiker, and we are definitely rookies! 🙂 Would definitely take me a month or more to do the whole thing!
Good luck. Wishing you great adventures and bonding time with your daughter.
I’m so excited for her! I know she can do it, especially with your encouragement when she has bad days on the trail. When I was in Greenville, SC, I met an RN who hiked the entire trail with her brother after high school and before college. I asked for her autograph because to me, anyone who can do this type of journey is made of some magnificent stuff. Ask Lauren if I can have her autograph when she’s done! ?
I’m her biggest fan! LOL The hubs and I have promised to meet her in some of the bigger trail towns and make sure she resupplies and gets the occasional shower and hot meal….. 🙂 If she can do it, we will help!
I’m rooting for her! Go girl! ??
Deva, the PCT is so close to Portland I’ve been section-hiking bits since I moved here. I can’t imagine thru-hiking, though, not with my aging knees. If you come back to the PNW I’ll hike with you.
Deal! I will get back to Oregon, maybe this summer or fall. My favorite state so far, although Arizona is a close second.
Oh, and Lauren has probably already seen many YouTube videos, but I HIGHLY recommend she watch Homemade Wanderlust. This is the channel of a young lady from Alabama who had completed the Triple Crown. She never backpacked EVER, them decided she would do the AT, and just did it. Great gear reviews and ideas, as well as common sense and safety info for women backpacking in remote (and populated) areas.
LOL! WE LOVE WANDERLUST! We also watch Darwin on the Trail and just started watching Wild on the Trail. I’m telling you, Wild is gonna make it! He has the right attitude and he’s just so grateful to be there! You and I should section hike sometime….we have a lot in common methinks! LOL
Omg, we are backpacking YouTube twins! I love Darwin on the Trail, too! Wild on the Trail sounds familiar, so I may have seen one or two front that channel as well.
Also, if I’m in your area anytime, I’ll give ya a holla✌?
Oh, that sounds like fun! I’ve hiked Smokemont and Elkmont mountains back in HS (when I was in far better shape). I’ve done it in the Fall and also in May when the azaleas were in bloom – it was glorious.
LOVE Natalie! I’ve seen her numerous times, both with the maniacs and solo. Her voice is like butter. Once when I was at a concert she was singing My Beloved Wife and the lady in the seat next to me had tears streaming down her face. That song combined with her voice is so moving.
Isn’t she amazing?! I’ve enjoyed her music since forever. Lucky you to have seen her live so many times! Her voice, combined with her lyrics and music, really gets you in the heart. ❤️ I was working in a surgery center back in the early 90’s and I would often play her softer songs as patients were being sedated.
Good luck. I only want to do easy trails so call me a more difficult than beginners’ trail dropout ?
In my mind, I am a inspiring thru-hiker with thousands of miles under my belt. In reality, I’m with you on the easy peasy trails. ?
I’m wearing Rose Cardin by Pierre Cardin, which is a chypre that falls on the cheerful side of the genre.
That sounds nice — I don’t think I ever smelled it.
I woke up in last night’s Pleasures. It’s what I remembered from high school. Pleasures reminds me of MDCI In Coeur en Mau, which I will have to dig out my bottle of. Wearing LADDM today even though it’s spring like outside.
LADDM is good in any weather, you smell great!
I’m in Chanel 1932, not blingy but definitely sparkly. It’s a good contrast to today’s gray, rainy weather. Of course it was 60 and sunny yesterday when I was at work.? Oh well, at least the snow piles are melting.
I survived the time change, barely! Lol. Madtownteen was quite cranky when I got her up this morning.? This time change really messes with a persons sleep schedule.
Have to retry 1932 one of these days…and 1957 for that matter.
Am allergic to Spring Forward and overslept this morning. On the plus side, turned over all my tax p/w to the accountant’s office!
galbanumgal, happy to share some 1957. You know where to reach me ?
You rock, h.
Crocuses are blooming! It will probably get up to 70° today! Spring! Glorious spring! I am in Byredo Green which is very much a SPRING! fragrance
Our crocuses are not out, but the daffodils are blooming.
Crocus blooms precede daffodils here
Tea for Two. Just because.
That’s enough! ?
As Not A Morning Person, this is my least favorite week of the year. (I first typed “day” but then realized I had to be more inclusive!) Olene and strong jasmine tea to see me through!
At first I thought As Not A Morning Person was your SotD and I wondered what it smelled like.??
My version of Not A Morning Person, the perfume, would probably smell like lots of Silences and lots of black coffee. Not sure that would be a market success though
I’m easing into the week in Cuir d’Ange. I’m thinking of doing a week of leather fragrances other than in Friday when I’ll participate in the CP.
Count me in to the sleepy from time change club.
At least we smell goozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
😀
Monday after the time change and feeling cranky along with my not-so-DH. I need to win the lottery so we can have separate residences. Wearing Profumum Vanitas so I can smell like a big marshmallow and pretend I am somewhere else.
Is he still trying to quit smoking? I’m sorry things have been trying for you.
High five for Big Marshmallows! ?
Man, I just love smelling like a marshmallow. It is so cheering.
Occasionally I think separate rooms could be nice…
Oh yeah, he snores too!
Oh yeah, there are days I would like to exile DH to the guest house. Now if only we actually had a guest house…
Exactly.
Maybe you should wear Tea for Two for your hubby? 😉 My husband ALWAYS complains that I smell like an ashtray when I wear it.
He has been wearing Tobacco Vanille. Maybe I’ll start hitting the Tea for Two.
Wearing a few dabs of NVC Niral, along with some lovely FM iris hand cream.
The time change is disruptive but i am excited for the sun to set much later 🙂
Niral is so beautiful!
I’m rosy today in AT Rose Delight oil and FM Une Rose.
Thanks everyone for the sweet birthday wishes yesterday. ???
Happy belated, Nancyleandros! Hope it was a wonderful day!??
Belated Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! See, we are helping your birthday continue…
I might just celebrate all month long…?
Whoo hoo! ?
I do, plus half birthdays ?
A belated Happy Birthday!
Happy belated birthday Nancy!
Happy belated birthday! You smell great.
Still nursing my cold and can’t smell much – I’m wearing AG’s Musc Nomade today. A warm fuzzy musk feels good and not too overwhelming.
Oh, I feel you! Hope the bad bugs say “Adios” soon!
Hope you feel better soon! Musk makes me feel comforted when I’m sick.
You smell wonderful today. Get well soon!
Hope you feel better soon!
I’m wearing Olfactive Studio Iris Shot today.
This is one I have yet to try!
SOTD = Memo Paris Italian Leather
I got my travel spray with the Twisted Lily 30% off discount. I oversprayed and am wafting a green tomato leaf and I GOT A COMPLIMENT! Woo hoo!
https://www.instagram.com/p/B9gkSGcB2-N/?igshid=6y1ii0jheeo2
In other news, I did login to do work on Saturday, but it took me a while to get through and of course I found out my anti-virus software just expired on 3/3. Got that straightened out. Logged in on Sunday, was almost done with something, then poof, lost connectivity and it took me a good 20 minutes to be back up and running. Needless to say, I am in the office today as I did not want to chance having the same issue!
For those who responded to my comment yesterday re: L’Heure Blanche split, it’s a big honking 125 bottle so most definitely, I can fulfill all who expressed interest to date. I’ll split up to 75 mLs. Will let you know cost next week.
Sale twins! I succumbed to the lure of 30% off and sprang for a FB of Italian Leather last night, finally spending last year’s birthday $ from my mom (lost check, long story). Hoping to spend THIS year’s b’day $ today – Mom and I are heading to the Chanel counter at Saks in just a few minutes. Woohoo!
Grab me some samples LOL. Specifically of the Riveria haha, have fun
Woo hoo!
I was so tempted to go over to Twisted Lily today to see about testers. But, I resisted. But then I bought some items in fragrancenet….LOL.
I saw on IG today is their last day ?
Yay for perfume compliments! That’s a great way to start off the week.
It is and I kept smelling something good and finally said out loud – it’s me and the person sitting next to me today – Ms. OTT La Vie est Belle LOL’d ?
Demeter Dandelion – I’m starting out low-commitment. Everything else felt like too much.
Rain today, but it’s spring rain. Yay!
All uphill from here? ?
No scent yet since the sniffer is clogged up, still. Hoping we get some rain later on today, we are woefully short on the wet stuff this year.
Sleepy though. Joining Regina on the Not A Morning Person team. My management scheduled a 7am meeting this morning, which I did not call in for. Who schedules a 7am meeting on the first day after Spring Forward?? Bah.
7am meetings, especially right after the time change, are evil. Good on you for ignoring it.
I had 2 days of 6am meetings last week. Talk about not making me enthused to be back from vacation.
There oughta be a law.
morning people are sadists
🙂
Yuck! That’s even worse that 4pm meetings on a Friday afternoon.
Can anyone top 7PM on Sunday?
Spring-like weather and birds, yay! Clocks set 1 hour ahead, boo!
Wearing lots of Silences and drinking lots of coffee to counteract sleepiness. Seriously considering moving to Arizona.
May Monday decide that it’s too tired to be mean to you all!
Silences will keep you awake. It’s the perfume equivalent of a brisk morning walk!
I think you are right, Monday was too tired to cause trouble.
I tnink I might join Amyitis in Tea for Two.
Welcome to my corner!
Sampling LM Malefic Tattoo this morning. It was a blast of oud (the sour kind) in the top notes but now it’s a meh quiet spice/vanilla thing. Not a must-have.
To the person who recommended the Ruth Galloway series, thank you so much! I’m on book three now and really enjoying them. Some of Nelson’s inner dialogue is LOL funny.
Yay, and you still have quite a few to go, although I’ve lost count.
It’s 70 degrees here in March. I don’t ever remember the weather being so warm at this time of year. In the past, March was the time that we watched the snow melting. It’s very nice but weird. I went with Ganymede because it feels like spring.
We hit 65 here yesterday, but the weather man reminded me that our record is 78 from like 7 years ago. That made it feel less weird.
It’s the continuously warmer temps. We’re usually watching the winter snow melt right now but still have occasional snow storm. Plus we don’t usually see 50-60 degree temps until April or May. Not too many winters ago, people in my area were buying roof rakes because the weight of snow and ice caused some roofs to cave in. One extreme to the other. Although, I prefer the mild weather.
Crazy warm winter weather twins! It’s what, 3 weeks to spring?
It is too warm for me. What do you think of Ganymede? I have a big honking sample ?
It’s a love for me! Osmanthus leather!
Missoni Gianduia, I’m not very much into smelling like chocolate but this one is different, a labdanum-amber incensy chocolate and the one chocolate perfume of my collection.
A lovely sunny morning, it clouded over in the afternoon but there was still a springtime temperature
That sounds like a nice scent! I wear 4160 Tuesdays Over the Chocolate Shop.
Thank you, it’s quite delicious, I bet Over the Chocolate is great too, I will put it on my list of scents to try.
Is this a vintage? You seem to have a great collection of the vintage designer perfumes! Even if I’ve never smelled some, I’m always imagining the smell ?
No Lillyjo, it’s oldish but too recent to be vintage, I have two Missoni only but I love them (the other one is Molto Missoni, a cinnamon scent).
One day when my brother comes over again I will make you decants.
Don’t worry, you’ll be getting more sunshine later on this week! Since I had plenty of it today, I figured I’d share. ?
🙂 I have noticed it usually works when you send me virtual sunshine.
Jicky EdP today. I felt like citrus and lavender to wake me up.
Hope you all have a good week.
You smelled great today tannina!
citrus + lavender = the perfect wake up!
Bois des Iles. I have decant but wish I had a bottle. Happy Monday to all!
EDP or EDT?
Edp! I had to admit I had to check the decant. I have a vintage bottle of BdE cologne but it has faded enough to be recognizable Chanel, but not recognizable BdE to me (unless it smelled different).
In Akro Dark since almost as soon as I dragged myself out of bed. I thought really hard about getting up at a reasonable hour and then couldn’t, so chocolate is the answer. Two coffees in and definitely not loving this spring time change yet!
In good new, my samples from perfumeniche.com arrived today and based on the love it’s getting in this thread, I believe I will start with Tea for Two tomorrow!
Hope it works for you!
Eau de Merveilles today because I had a strong craving and it’s perfect for this weather. Husband commented, “You should wear that more often. I love it…you should get more.”
Time change usually doesn’t bother me, but it just about killed me yesterday. Couldn’t get to sleep Sat night, so got back up and read for a while. Finally asleep around 3 am to get up with alarm at 7:30. Early church so I could hear a lecture and then do brunch. Slept over 9 hours last night…
My husband’s class was moved to Zoom for tomorrow night, so I’m thinking of going to movies. I’ve looked online, and the movie I’m interested in looks to be showing to a virtually empty theater.
Eau des Merveilles really is so good, that’s on my list of “sparkly” scents to wear this week.
Yes. My husband could not understand when I said it’s a sparkling scent.
That’s pretty cool getting the perfume thumbs up from your husband! And the “Get more”!
Sounds like a winner!
😀 yay for Eau des Merveilles! 😀
It was a California Reverie kind of day today ?
Ooh, it must have been sunny and beautiful there today!
Gorgeous. I went down late afternoon to a park near me by the river. They obviously haven’t changed anything since DST. Kicked everyone out at 6 pm!
As LizzieB said, it was gorgeously perfect weather. I would love it all year round.
Tomorrow is supposed to be nice too!
An unexpectedly busy weekend, plus the time change REALLY messed me up this year, so no time to post on the weekend SOTD thread. I was just flattened by that hour, and I don’t know why.
However, a quick answer to at least one of the questions: not really lemming anything right now. I was naughty and ended up getting 6(!) of the perfume oil that Soivohle has on closeout right now. I haven’t tried any of them yet, but will sing out when I do.
I also did a fair amount of wedding chat with my engaged friends yesterday. Still sorting out all that we talked about. I think we did finally manage to dissuade the bride from wanting indoor pyrotechnics at the ceremony. NO sparklers!!!
SOTD = Ann Gerard Perle de Mousse EdP, from the sample stash. So pretty, and a perfect match for the warm, sunny, and decidedly springlike weather I have today. ???????
The time change really messed me up too! My butt was dragging yesterday.
Indoor pyrotechnics?! Last time I saw those was at a Motley Crue concert.??Good job dissuading her!
Yeah, I was not at all a fan of the sparkler idea. Especially since the wedding will be in December. Xmas trees are flammable! ??
Ah, Perle de Mousse. I will wear it when the weather gets a little warmer.
It was 72 degrees F here today, so plenty warm! It’s not going to last, though. I’m not quite ready for the spring pollen season.
Yikes! Makes me think of The Station Nightclub fire. The band Whitesnake was using pyrotechnics. Many people were killed that night.
I’m dragging today too but I slept poorly last night. I hope we’re both more with it tomorrow.
And I’ll be waiting for your report on your new oils!
I also slept badly last night, but it was too much caffeine too late in the day for me. I know better than to do that, and did it anyway.
It was too warm too early and yes I am complaining! Glad you were able to dissuade the bride from doing indoor pyro!
* = “oils”. Ooops. Typos are back for Monday. ?
I’m wearing HdP Tubereuse 2 because it caught my eye as I rummaged about in a drawer. This is the “Virginale” version. It goes on a bit thick and syrupy but as it dries down, it just gets better and better, with a fair amount of spice to temper the sweet. I feel as if I’m wafting fairy dust and good cheer wherever I walk in it—even in the aisles of Home Depot. I visited there and two garden centers in my fruitless quest for the ideal birdbath, which I’m suddenly lemming for my tiny yard or outdoors hedge area. Imagine the hours of entertainment it will provide my kitties later on! I also want to plant, at least in pots, some flowers that bees and butterflies will enjoy.
I have wild growing mint in my back yard, and the bee’s love it. I don’t love the bee’s though.
SOTD is Jaipur Chai by Ineke.
This becomes much more cardamom/vanilla on me than I’d hoped. I love black tea scents, which is what this was like on a friend.
Still a lovely scent though, and perfect for gloomy weather!
I’d definitely like to try that one. Sounds interesting.
SOTD–I tried Tauer Incense Rose but wasn’t loving it so scrubbed it off and spritzed on some 1000 Flowers Orange Blossom Petals. So spring-like and much easier for me to wear. I’ll keep trying to develop an appreciation for scents out of my comfort zone though.
Good for you trying the difficult scents!
I’m new at this so it will take some time and experimenting to learn more. Am loving the little samplers that can be purchased. Its a fun new hobby!
No need to rush the fun exploration stage! I’m still there, and it’s been 11 years since I fell down the perfumed rabbit hole.
Swapmeet is coming up and some people post freebies too so watch for those!
Definitely!
Whispers…It didn’t work for me either. I got rose flavored Tang.
I’m not even sure what I was getting. I’ll try it again someday, maybe some cold rainy day (doesn’t happen often in Arizona).
Just wanted to say hello!
Hi yourself! Waves as well.
SotD = Gypsy Water . . .
. . . which smells a lot like Vanille Insensee on me. I guess that’s another perfume pair I should wear and compare for sniffs and giggles. 🙂
I like to think that Vita enjoyed many perfumes that came her way. So perhaps Byredo’s all-inclusive vibe would appeal to her. Or maybe she smelled like Jardin d’Ecrivain’s Orlando? 😉 I should seek that one out.
Lovely photo up top today. I would dearly love to visit Sissinghurst. The idea of planning and caring for the White Garden haunts me. I love gardening with an anything goes approach. Limiting colors to white, green, gray, and silver would be interesting to say the least.
Hey girlfriend – I got the same type vanilla for both!
snap! I love it when perfume noses agree. 😀
I tried to do my front yard in all whites and silvers, but my husband is hard to control. He keeps sneaking things in, and I keep moving them.
It does not rival Sissinghurst by any stretch of the imagination, though…
This made me LOL ?
I saw a flower garden all in white one time, it was incredible at sunrise.
And it seems to shimmer at dusk. One year I did all-white plants in my back yard; it was beautiful!
I’m with your husband – right now, we have a riot of hyacinths that are almost done in pinks and purples against a backdrop of red tulips. No color discipline whatsoever. I can certainly see how beautiful a more coordinated approach would be.
I like that too…we have a small front yard and a large back yard, so he has plenty of space for no color discipline 🙂
sounds like you and your hubs are a perfect gardening pair – it will never get boring. 😉
Ha, that is one way to look at it 🙂
I pair Vanille Insensée and Gypsy water hair perfume all the time! Defo similar. On me Gypsy Water is more lemon where Vanille Insensée is more lime with the top, and Vanille Incensee middle notes for me last longer and are more my style, but the vanilla-sandalwood-amber base is very comparable.
agree agree agree! 😀 i love the lemon – lime comparison, both are great to my nose. I live for citrus top notes, lol. And like you I noticed that VI’s middle notes last longer than GW’s. I can’t decide which I like better, they’re both wonderful scents.
Robin – I just saw you tried Diptyque Eau Capitale today! What did you think of it?
I am surprised at how bold it is, since Diptyque rarely goes bold anymore. But I also don’t love it! Did you?
Unremarkable and won’t be joining the family.
Busy day today, plus feeling under the weather. I was twins with my daughter wearing SL something dulce? I’m too tired to get up and look. In my ongoing effort to buy perfume on a budget, I’ve been bidding at some auctions, but I keep getting outbid at the last minute. Even though I’m bidding at the last minute! I’m getting discouraged by the whole thing. Mainly because I think the people outbidding me are just going to resell at a profit, instead of giving it a loving home like I would ?
Tired twins! I hope this is the last time-change we have to endure.
I hear you on the auction bidding. I almost gave up on them due to being outbid at the very last second, like you. Someone told me that people are probably using a ‘sniping’ app where they can outbid even the highest bid at the very last second. I’m not about that; if it’s something I really want I usually get the ‘buy now’ auctions so there’s no disappointment!
If this happens to your frequently, check into Gixen – it’s a free auction sniping software. It will only bid as far as your maximum bid, so if you really want something, the maximum bid is still your best bet.
