Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisee ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 29 February 2020 3 Comments

Givenchy has launched Gentleman Boisée, a new fragrance for men. Gentleman Boisée is a flanker to 2017's Givenchy Gentleman.

Gentleman Givenchy reveals Eau de Parfum Boisée, a new woody interpretation for the most sensual Gentlemen.

A passionate and caring gentleman whose appeal comes from both his strength and gentleness — a surprising contrast that reflects into his fragrance.

The olfactory encounter begins with the spicy contact of black pepper with coriander, followed by a warm embrace between cocoa’s addictive accents and the sophisticated elegance of iris. A sensory experience enhanced by the woody notes of sandalwood and an oriental accord.

Revealing a captivating character, this woody-floral-spicy fragrance heightens the sensuality of any gentleman.

Gentleman Boisée was developed by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson. Additional notes for the spicy woody floral include geranium, cedar, burning woods and patchouli.

Givenchy Gentleman Boisée is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Wasn’t Boisee the name of the gentlemen lover of Oscar Wilde, whose father sued Wilde for libel, ultimately leading to Wilde’s imprisonment?

No wait, it was Wilde who brought the incredibly ill-considered libel suit against the father.

I don’t know, but in this context it just means wooded or woody.
