Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2020 ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 20 February 2020 5 Comments

Calvin Klein has launched the 2020 version of CK One Summer. As with 2019, the packaging includes stickers you can use to decorate the bottle. CK One Summer is a flanker to 1994's CK One; you can see last year's model here.

Exhilarating and fresh, the new limited-edition CK One Summer is a genderless fragrance that is reflective of the sunny season. The newest member of the CK One tribe celebrates summer with a bright citrus woody scent. The energizing fragrance evokes the ocean breeze, sparkling with top notes of mandarin, ginger and sea salt. Layered with a heart of sage, the base of sandalwood and amber imparts an intriguing and sensual ephemera. Effortless and youthful, CK One Summer represents the endless pleasure of a long summer day at the beach. In a vibrant reflection of the summer sky, the turquoise bottle can be customized with an assortment of playful stickers, creating a personalized beach scene that embodies the spirit of the season.

Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2020 is available as a limited edition 100 ml Eau de Toilette. You can find it now at Macy's, $65.

The stickers are weird, but I like the bottle and I like citrus, orange and lemon in particular. I would test if I saw it, but I often say that and never see those things.

Are these always the same fragrance with just the bottle changing? I don’t think I’ve ever tested a ck one summer.

No — I would not be surprised if they rotate between a few, and they are all in the same general theme, but there is more than one iteration. Last year’s notes are completely different.

I really liked the ’15 version, I think it was. A girl at my work wears last years version and all I can smell is ambroxan.
