The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 13 February 2020 16 Comments

Please, someone tell me if this ever goes on mark down: "A body wash with the Haute Couture fragrance of Armani/ Privé Bois d'Encens. Start your fragrance ritual in the shower, bathe in luxury with a body wash inspired by the secrets of the Armani hotel. The Bois d'Encens luxury eau de parfum showcases Somalian Incense, an olfactory reflection of the hours Giorgio Armani spent with his grandmother in Italian churches." $50 for 200 ml at Saks.

I would love to spend a holiday in Lapland and have this for a showergel. :)

Let’s both get bottles, and you go to Lapland and I’ll stay put on the beach, ha!

I would consider $25 for 200 ml a splurge already! You are the black belt, so probably better you tell me what the best is that I can hope for ;-)

Why is this post a ‘lemming’?

A “lemming” is some product that sounds so delightful that some number of us leap on the band wagon and do silly things like buying it unsniffed, or just moaning about the status of the bank balance that makes impulsive purchased prohibitive, or we go on and on about how good it is, or could be, etc. etc.

Scroll back through old posts to see previous examples…

      :-)

LOL – okay… my interpretation of a lemming was a bit more restrained, but now it’s clear. I had seen the dish liquid up on the site for a while and that made complete sense. I suppose I’m a lemming too because this description sounds lovely.

        Thanks for clarifying, meredifay!

Amazing!!! This is a fabulous-smelling galaxy all on its own.

I tried a sample of a rose shower get from Armani and found it under-scented. Bather beware.

Several reviews on other sites say this exact same thing, under scented. Or faint. That’s not a positive in a shower gel.

At least one for that price – unless the bubbles are extra-frothy or the like.
