I was able to smell Rose n’ Roses and thought it was pretty nice. This song though bothers me, because the lyrics are pretty sad, if you listen to it. Dior could have done Natalie Portman more edgy in denim and leather, with just the opening guitar of Sweet Child O” Mine. Maybe buying roses from a market. No motorcycle though, lol.
I think generally speaking they gear Miss Dior to a younger woman than J’Adore, but not a *very* young woman — the one with Natalie Portman escaping from her wedding is likely as edgy as they would go? They’re still going for romance.
Poison Girl got edgier advertising; Joy got only slightly edgier / sexier advertising.
Miss Dior always seemed to be a non conformist type of woman to me, but still highly in tune with her feminine side, a little bolder. You see the same characteristics in her friends, but she’s the one who’s a bit rebellious. In the ad’s like where she leaves the guy at the alter of a big wedding for a different dude, makes me feel like she wants to be a traditional woman to an extent, but go down her own path. Translates to how Maria Gracia Chiuri probably wanted a new signature MD EDP, change of direction.
