Ferragamo by Salvatore Ferragamo ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 21 January 2020 7 Comments

Salvatore Ferragamo has launched Ferragamo, a new fragrance for men. Ferragamo is fronted by British actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin.

FERRAGAMO is the new fragrance for men that embodies elegance and modernity, breaking stereotypes and embracing a creative and sensitive soul, sending a message to today's man: be whoever you want to be.

FERRAGAMO redefines masculinity, outlining the personality of the Ferragamo man, a polyhedral soul whose vigour comes from his internal contrasts: strength and sensibility, creativity and pragmatism, confidence and vulnerability. Free-spirited and daring, this ideal man is the master of his success and a symbol of authenticity.

[...] The radiant explosion of Mediterranean citrus with vibrant bergamot and lemon paves the way to an unexpected core. The floral violet accords combine with the intense FERRAGAMO leather note, in a blend that immediately evokes Ferragamo’s artisanal heritage. The intense notes of musk and vetiver complete this creation, in a heightened sensual dimension.

Uomo was developed by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu.

Ferragamo by Salvatore Ferragamo is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

This sounds pleasant enough, and I quite like the bottle (something with which I’m generally unconcerned).

Agree, the packaging looks really smart.

It is so refreshing that is NOT a launch of a flanker. I agree the bottle is very well designed. The juice sounds like it will be well done, although not totally original. I’ll be sure to give it a sniff, if I see it at a counter.

But there will be a flanker, I’m sure!

“FERRAGAMO redefines masculinity”… Sure it does, heard that before and not just once.

About once a week, I should think.

The notes are super-meh; the copy is ludicrous (but no more or less so than any other I’ve seen lately); and the less said about the boy-model the better….
