The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 15 October 2019 4 Comments

Strange Invisible Perfumes lowered their prices this year. I am not paying enough attention to know by how much, but the price on their 15 ml bottles is now about in line with many other niche brands — shown are two favorites, Black Rosette and Magazine Street, $70 each.

I was actually kinda stunned by this, but pleased. I meant to share it here but forgot. I have 50ml of some of my faves, back from MUA swapping days and eBay deals, so I don’t really need more for a long time (or ever). I’m kinda curious about some scents in the zodiac line even though I’m not into astrology.

So do you know how much she lowered the prices?

I was wondering if these prices just seemed reasonable to me now because everything else has gone up 🙂

Looks like the zodiac 15ml used to be $125 and are now $90. I believe the standard collection 15ml used to be $90 and are now $70. I believe the 100ml bottles were over $400 and some were even over $500, though that might have been just the reserve series. They also used to have varying prices among the perfumes and now they’re all the same price.

Thank you so much, that’s really interesting.

A couple years ago I would have thought $70 for 15 ml was crazy and $90 outrageous. I am being desensitized to high prices 🙂
