Mexican botanical niche line Xinú has launched Ummo, a new unisex fragrance.*
Inspired by the scent of smoke given off by burning dried tobacco leaves during sacred rituals, healing, purification ceremonies, and the induction of deep states of trance.
Ummo was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Additional notes include jasmine tobacco flowers, liquidambar, tonka bean, cedar and honey.
Xinú Ummo is available now at Smallflower, $220 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

* Ummo may have launched in Mexico in 2018, I am not sure.
Sounds lovely! Their bottles are cool. Wish the price was a bit less painful.
Plus, I really like Rodrigo Flores-Roux. But yeah, seriously, too spendy.
220 USD for 50ml? Is there some rare ingredients used in this composition?
For some reason, I imagine the brand Arquiste when I see Rodrigo’s name and the bottle.
