Chanel has released Coromandel in Extrait ("...the COROMANDEL fragrance is reinterpreted with the Parfum...Composed by In-House Perfumer Creator Olivier Polge, this spirited scent features a heightened Musk note for added warmth and fullness, while swirls of Frankincense and Andalusian Labdanum convey a deep Amber note with smoky accents."), and you can snap up the 15 ml bottle for $240, OR, for just $9760 more, you can have the coffret: "...this exquisite coffret showcases the unique craftsmanship of two CHANEL Maisons d’art: Goossens, goldsmith-jeweler since 1950, and Lesage, embroiderer since 1858. Nestled at the heart of the box is the COROMANDEL Parfum — elegantly presented in a collectible Baccarat crystal bottle — and a precious jeweled piece handcrafted by Maison Goossens. The coffret is lined with iconic CHANEL tweed woven by Maison Lesage. Limited to only 9 pieces in the United States."

I’ll take two please. ??
I’ll take the remaining 7! ?
How many will there be in Europe? I might need several as well.
I neglected to add that the coffret comes with a 50 ml bottle.
Just checked the French site and they do not say the number of pieces made, so they must have plenty to go around?
Who actually buys these things? Probably the same people that buy Bugatti Veyrons. Wouldn’t mind one of those either, although I have absolutely no idea what I would use it for.
I wonder if one or some will be on eBay shortly, or if this is even in high-demand to see some sort of profit?
I saw an ad today on FB that said there were 40 numbered pieces.
It’s very pretty. I don’t think anyone I know in real life will be getting one, but I’m sure the people who do will appreciate them.
I was curious to find out more about this jewellery house so I Googled them. Wow, they have some gorgeous pieces! I’d swap that pin for these pomegranate earrings…

The jewelry is gorgeous!
Jaw dropped. The jewellery is exquisite. Is “soaked in a 24K gold bath” a more interesting way of saying gold-plated? Makes me think of Goldfinger. Maybe one can scrape off the tweed from inside the box and make a foulard? But that would mean I could afford to buy it, hahaha……
