It's Friday! Our community project for today: wear a fragrance by Heeley, Hiram Green, Histoires de Parfums or Honoré des Prés, if you have one. Partial credit for any other small-ish brand that starts with the letter H.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I'm feeling better than yesterday but will probably sit out another day of perfume wearing. If I was entirely recovered from whatever virus I've picked up, I'd be in Honoré des Prés I Love Les Carottes.
Reminder: on 5/17, it's the cheap thrills special, brought back by request. Wear something that costs $50 or below, double bonus points if it costs $25 or below. No points for wearing something expensive that you bought cheaply via a sample or decant or somesuch! We're trying to find real bargains here.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2019, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Heeley Iris de Nuit.
Happy Friday, everyone!
And to you!
Hello scent twin!
Hi twin! We smell wonderful!
I don’t have any lower-case aitches so I’m going with the big one instead: Hermès Rocabar, all woody-piney-resiny outdoors until the base reveals soft comfy vanilla (appropriate for a bottle wrapped up in a tiny blanket).
Would that be similar to the tiny sleeping bag someone else mentioned? Both sound very cozy.
It’s a li’l striped blanket with actual blanket stitch, beautifully made, wrapped around the bottle with a fine leather cord. It’s gorgeous. Even the bottle itself is nice, but the blanket takes it to a whole new level.
Yes to Hermes!!!
Scent twins!
April showers bring May……..showers. Enough already!
1740 HdP
I agree! Dark and rainy here too.
Twins!
Sicknin’ isn’t it? ?
We’re expecting rain all weekend here in Atlanta….so I’m planning to watch movies and do a bunch of nothing if I can get away with it! 🙂
You smell great! Woulda worn that if I weren’t working.
I hope this doesn’t bleed into summer. I felt like I spent most of last summer waiting for the rain to stop so I could do something summery ?
I’m getting some sun today. I will try and blow some your way!?
Danke schoen lillyjo!
And before I saw him sing it on TV, I thought Wayne Newton was female. LOL
Lol!
*gets in line*
It’s even raining in New Mexico which is super rare. And not welcome at all. Ugh.
Hiram Green Slowdive. Have a great Friday!
Hi twin!
Don’t we smell great? 🙂
Triplets! I think we will be numerous.
Quadruplets!
Happy Friday! I haven’t sniffed that one, but I love Moon Bloom and Dilettante so I need to get on it!
I’m wearing HdP 1969, which so far is my favorite of the HdPs I’ve tried this week.
I think I like 1899? Can never keep the dates straight…
I’ve tried 1899 (Ernest Hemingway) and it is another favorite.
Hi NST! This week has been…a lot. Work stuff and relationship stuff. Hoping to have a nice, relaxing weekend to recover and settle in with a good book.
I’ve been wearing my big H’s this week: Hermes Eau de Neroli Dore and Eau d’Orange Verte, plus a little H: Perfumer H Orange Leaf.
Today I’m back in Orange Leaf. It’s maybe the best petitgrain perfume I’ve ever tried. I don’t think FBs are easily had in the US, so I’ll enjoy the heck out of my decant (thanks Pixel!) while I can!
Hope work and relationship stuff calms down quickly!
2nd that!
And Orange Leaf sounds great.
Petitgrain is so refreshing.
You’ve smelled great all week. Hope things settle down for you this weekend.
Wearing Heeley Menthe Fraiche. Might do a spritz of later in the day with this and Covey. Going to be warm today, so perfect for mintiness.
Warm here too, and looks like the sun might even peek out…
Hiram Green Dilettante. From a sample. I allowed myself to buy one Hiram Green after sampling the line last year and Shangri La was my pick, but this came in a close second. Love me some orange blossom.
Yes, and yes. I adore Dilettante. I love it, in part, for its density and richness. The Hiram Greens pull this off exceedingly well, I think. Somehow they avoid being cloying…..Off to spray on some Dilettante for my Friday!
Twins. We smell great.
No h today big or little
Volutes and the bottle is….empty! Thunk!
Wow, now you can replace it!
The BUB In in the emergency cabinet, Petunia!
Congrats on your thunk! So satisfying.
Thumbs up on that “thunk”!
Many other perfumes tried to grab my attention this morning on my way to my planned Heeley Sel Marin, but I held fast and am glad I did! I don’t wear this tangy little weirdo often enough.
Oooh, twins! Good on you for not getting distracted, haha
Ya gotta love a tangy little weirdo, at least once in your life??
Either that or BE a tangy little weirdo 😉
Ha! Good one?
Ha! In fact I’m pretty sure that’s what I am. 🙂
I am wearing Ophelia, by Heeley
Lovely soft white flowers.
I hardly have time to read NST these days and I miss you guys 🙁 but other stuff (work, social) is bothering me.
But yesss….. almost weekend!!!!
Boo to all the other stuff!
Histoires 1826, which is one of my favorite fragrances for spring, too. All that lovely, damp, cool patchouli. The notes say it also has “white flowers”, but to me those flowers smell very much like the flowering crab apples and viburnum; thin and sweet with just a touch of vanilla.
Didn’t get a chance to comment again yesterday, but thanks everyone so much for the sympathy re: tooth/ stomach virus. Happily, I am on the mend.
Glad you are feeling better!
Thank you!
Wow I am rushing to find my sample!
That sounds unforgettable!
Get well fast, Robin!
I am in Lostmarc’h L’eau de l’Hermine for kinda sorta points on the Hermine part. It’s sweet and clean and I esp enjoy wearing it to bed on warm nights after a cooling shower.
Thank you! I do feel crap, but so much less crap than yesterday 🙂
Wearing Heeley Oranges and Lemons Say The Bells of St. Clements.
I like that name. How is it?
I like it. A classy neroli cologne, soapy, but in a nice way. A ‘white shirt’ cologne, great for professional enivronment. Sparkling clean.
Me too…one of the all time great citrus fragrance names.
Oh, and I am so ready for the haiku challenge tomorrow. I wrote several and look forward to reading yours!
Wearing my favourite HdP, 1740. It has a great soothing vibe, like a lot of Histoires de Parfums. I’ve been enjoying wearing them this week.
Tea is a sophisticated Chinese Black Tea that I am almost enjoying 😉
Hope you get well again soon Robin!
Is it sophisticated but not delicious?
I rather think so!.
I’m out of little H’s, so going with the big one today: Eau des Merveilles.
The sun is finally out and it felt so warm on my back as it came through the dining room windows this morning.?
TGIF!
EdM 4 ever! u smell fabulous ?
Enjoy the sun! We’re back to gloomy skies and rain is imminent. You smell wonderful!
Until Robin is completely recovered, I’m holding down one of the H forts in Honoré des Prés I Love Les Carottes. I smell charming.
That name is completely charming too! You smell great?
Lol, typo! U smell great!!!!
You smell fantastic!
Yay, thank you!
Hilde Soliani “Il Tuo Tulipano” (the red tulip) in pure perfume oil
Oh, nice one!
Cuir Pleine Fleur. I really love this scent and don’t know why I only have a large dabber sample. Must remedy, I should at least get a decant.
Phew! It’s Friday!
Such a shame it is only in 100 ml! Do get a decant.
I hope you are feeling a little better today.
SotD = Hiram Green Slowdive
Honeyed white florals, just a few dabs from a sample are hypnotic. I love it. Thank you to the fabulous perfumista who sent me this sample. NSTers are wonderful.
My young adult son moved out and on to his first apartment this week. He will struggle, but dad thinks it’s time. My heart and head are at odds.
This past Wednesday I received a perfume compliment at school. I gave a decant of Terracotta plus some samples to that admiring nose on Thursday. She was so pleased, and got a bit verklempt. We hugged then laughed when we realized how badly we both needed a bit of kindness.
Happy Friday to everyone. I hope Robin and NovemberRose and anyone else who might be feeling peaked or a bit ( or a lot) beaten down by this past week gets a hug!
That sounds tough, and I hope he does well. Hugs to you, tiffanie!
And super sweet on the perfume gifting. I love when perfume brings people together ?
thanks, Elisa P, hugs right back at ya!
It is amazing how small acts of kindness make us closer. It’s like we all go around wearing armor and these little gestures say “I’m safe! you can come out now!”
I love this. 🙂
that’s perfect! i feel that way too. 🙂
I hope your son does better than expected! And I love your little perfume sharing story.
thank you, cazaubon! my son texted today for the first time in a few days. it was a bit of a relief to hear from him 😀
I feel for you tiffanie. Sending good wishes to your son, and a hug for you?
thank u, lillyjo, and hugs to you. we know our kids better than anyone, but it’s still so hard to know when they’re “ready”, don’t you think? 😀
It’s a big step but you will adjust well I’m sure if your son is happy.
Glad for you about the perfume togetherness, these moments are great.
u r so right, Aurora 😀
Thanks for the kind thoughts, tiffanie! I’m sending some to you and your son. I am not a mother, but I imagine watching a grown child striking out on their own must be bittersweet. And nerve-wracking.
yup, mostly nerve-wracking! thanks for the kind thoughts, NovemberRose. 😀
Very good luck to young adult son!
thank you, Robin!
Wishing the best for your son and sending hugs for you, Tiffany.
thank you and hugs to you too, Petunia! 😀
Very very very happy to announce Happy FriYAY…..it’s been a long week around here! 🙂
Joining in with Heeley Blanc Poudre. Not loving it though….on my skin there’s a cold, sharp note (maybe the musk?) that just doesn’t do it for me. But hey! That’s the joy of sampling! You try stuff, and either love it or keep it right on moving….
Have a great weekend everyone!
Does the Heeley remind you of any others?
Heeley Note de Yuzu and wishing they made a 30ml bottle of this one. I really like it and am trying to save my decant for warmer weather.
Oh yuzu, great note.
It’s very refreshing!
Love this one, you smell great 🙂 I too wish for a small bottle of this.
Thank you! Hopefully he’s reading…
Just added this one to my need-to-sniff list.
HdP Blanc Violette
Happy Friday!
Sending healing vibes your way Robin
Thank you PekeFan!
I’m project-ready.
Wearing Lustre by Hiram Green.
And I am Green with envy! Can’t wait to try it.
It’s gorgeous.
I just looked that one up. Oooh, a rose from Hiram Green! I will definitely be sampling this one.
What do you think of it so far?
I think it’s lovely. A nice and rich rose, quite jammy.
That sounds lovely! I wish he still made travel sprays
Any review coming up soon?
Who knows, maybe? I don’t have a plan as to in what order I will be reviewing some new fragrances.
Best I can do is a big H: Twilly.
Olympic Orchids discovery set came in yesterday. Too fun sniffing every little bottle. Will try some out over weekend.
I love my OO samples – I think they’re so unusual.
Do you have Mardi Gras? My favorite OO.
Yes! Haven’t sampled on skin yet, but this one jumped out as a “like” based on all the bottle sniffing I did last night.
On brand today with HG Slowdive, thanks to a very kind NSTer.
Today would’ve been Mayhem’s eleventh birthday. Well, it still is Mischief’s, so we will have to spoil her rotten. She seemed pretty confused when we sang to her this morning, but enjoyed the belly rubs.
Happy kitty birthday to my scent twin! I always remember my departed furry friends on their birthdays.
<3 I think I will always remember their birthday.
Thinking of you on Mayhem’s day – and Mischief’s too! I’m smiling while I try to imagine her reaction at being sung to.
Hahaha. She’s nervous, even by kitty standards 🙂 but she tolerated it!
A bittersweet moment, so glad you have Mayhem, I too enjoy my cat’s expression when she is confused.
Hahaha <3 My little girl is very often confused.
Happy Birthday to Mischief!
She’s having a frankly terrible birthday! We put some tuna-flavored laxative on her paw, and despite the vet’s suggestions, she is Not Into It.
I haven’t been on enough lately to say this but I’m so very sorry that you had to say farewell to your beloved kitty. I hope that you felt the goodbye was a peaceful one. I do know how hard it is. I’ve got a little shelf with favourite photos of each of my departed feline friends, all in very pretty frames, and I feel happy when I view them all. I’ve even on occasion made a small altar for a period with some candles and flowers, because sometimes these ceremonies are helpful and healing. I’m glad you still have his sister.
Thank you, Calypso <3 It was indeed a peaceful goodbye, but it's still so hard. We made pawprints of our dearly departed Mayhem, and I get a lot of comfort from those. Photos are also a great idea, as are altars.
Happy Birthday to Mischief!
Thanks NovemberRose <3
Awww, happy birthday to Mischief (and Mayhem- it’s still his birthday) ??
Thanks, Elisa P 🙂 You’re right; it is. And we have celebrated his life today.
My condolences on the loss of your beloved Mayhem; I’m glad you have Mischief to celebrate and comfort you. And congratulations on your recent engagement!
Thanks for both <3
Testing Heeley Sel Marin today. I’m certain I’d be more into this on a hot summer day instead of a wet and cloudy one, but it’s leagues above most aquatics for me. Smells like exploring tidepools as a kid, with the fishy parts scrubbed away.
I need to try that one. I have a thing for ocean/beachy scents in the summertime.
You smell great!
I also need to try this one of these days.
I pulled out a few CP-compliant samples for today but couldn’t resist wearing EL Private Collection, an old favorite. It’s perfect for spring.
You smell green and lovely, I don’t know why I haven’t a bottle of PC yet.
The sun is out, and turning me into a goofball! Sotd is Hiram Green Shangri La
Song of the day https://youtu.be/b5aQ2dLzzXs
Love the sunshine and that song!
Thank you for the song Lillyjo. Happy for you that you feel goofy.
Enjoy the sun!
It’s crazy how different I feel when the sun is shining.
Smelling great in Shangri La!
My mood is very sun-sensitive too. I need to do my research on how to cope with winter grey better
Claiming full credit in HG Dilettante, which I’ve almost decided I need a bottle of, or at least a large decant. Also, that Orange Sanguine bottle on the Daily Lemming post is seriously calling my name.
TGIF, friends! A weekend of yard work and graduation parties are in my future. One friend graduating with her masters in speech language pathology and the other from law school (technically graduated in December but they don’t walk until tomorrow). Woohoo, girl power! Proud of them and look forward to eating some good food and celebrating.
Enjoy the graduation, Kelly.
Congrats to your friends 🙂 Enjoy the parties.
Not participating today but wearing Miss Dior Original. Not the vintage. The dogs are demanding all my free time when I am not at work, so can’t post much.
But hope you are also enjoying having the house to yourself?
Trying to except work is getting in the way. The bigger projects will be tackled on Sunday.
HG Shangri La ~ thank you Oakland Fresca for this lovely scent!
Scent twins! We smell great! And bonus, I think I made my boss sneeze ?
Lol, definitely a bonus! ?
Hello scent twin!! You smell naturally divine!!
Thank you! So do you?
Histoires de Parfums Vert Pivoine. Pretty, full bodied, peony rose that settles to more of a skin scent after 9 first hour. It actually reminds me of the original formula of Creed Fleurs de Gardenia back when it was a limited edition in 2006 or so. I hoard the decant I have of that one and haven’t seen mention of it for many years. Too bad they released a totally different formula with the same name because it makes it even harder to search for the old one.
So glad it’s Friday! We’re in a few day stretch of low 80s in Seattle, and I’m wearing my favorite dress today to celebrate.
You smell lovely! And it is a wonderful summer preview!
Happy Friday!
1) It is gonna be Arrakis levels of hot today, so I am in Florida Water and will re-up throughout the day.
2) Aperol spritz are fine people- but NOT the prices you are paying for them. Make them at home with friends. OR make a pitcher of Paloma- and serve with really good refreshing snacks, like radishes and dips.
1) A little of spice goes a long way! ;D
2) Palomas are delicious
What brings up #2? Did you get charged too much for an Aperol Spritz?
The NYT had an article dissing Aperol spritz. To be fair, they have a point about subpar sparkling wine, but sometimes a cocktail does not have to be deep. My only issue is the price- 7-10 here in PDX, and France and Italy they are like 4-5!
Nice on the Arrakis reference. + bonus for a “water” scent 😉
Apperol spritzes are so delicious and delightfully easy to make! I had to wean myself off them though (carbs). Otherwise I’d be enjoying one every night.
*bows*
And yeah, so easy make and share with friends!
I’m in the last of the sample of Prada Vetiver, same as yesterday, plus HdP 1828. This is the Eugenie, a nice but unassuming citrus floral. Like, not a love.
I really like the Vetiver. You smell nice!
Thanks, ma’am!
I’m wearing HG Moon Bloom. Must get up and do morning chores, but the kitties are on/next to me sound asleep.
I am commenting nearly 10 hours later but envisioning you still stuck in bed because kitties decided to sleep away the day 😉
SOTD = Heeley Sel Marin EDP
I am ON THEME with today’s CP and a quick perusal shows I am scent twins with Regina and Dorsey ? and a proliferation of brand siblings!
If you have time, go check out my @hajusuuri IG post today!
Happy FriYAY indeed!
Scent twin.
Woohoo!
Great picture ??
Thank you!
Wearing a Hiram Green that I don’t think has been mentioned yet today: Arbole Arbole. The color of the juice fits the name.
A freezing Friday here but I got my warm weather clothes out of storage defiantly. Enough winter nonsense already!
Scent twin – didn’t think we would be the only two.
Yes I am surprised
Who knows, maybe?
Chanel Beige! Am trying it out for my office summer scent.
What are your thoughts? I’ve been resniffing some Chanels the past few days. I spritzer Verte V. and love that same violet note.
I suppose a combo might be nice!
Sampling HdP Irreverent. I like it and find it quite sniffable (esp compared to the Heaven’s Alchemy Milan that I sampled yesterday)
Heeleys Iris de Nuit, just as much violet as iris, and it has a lovely silage and lasts all day, it’s one of my spring favourites, thanks to mrsdalloway who first sent me a sample!
That sounds lovely, Mayfly.
My SOTD is HdP 1873, Colette. It’s so beautiful and refreshing. Tangerine/citrus/florals/caramel–very upbeat and sensual in a light way. Plus, I adore Colette’s writing. We’re having an interlude in our sequence of forecasted thunderstorms and “rain events”. Last night was really bad. I hope to get around today amidst the showers to go to physical therapy and visit my mom before more rain and flooding occur.
I’m a great admirer of Colette too and I bet you smell great. Hoping you manage to avoid the rain.
I think that one is my favorite HdP.
I am only somewhat participating in big H Hermes vintage Caleche extrait.
Robin, hoping you can shake off the virus at the weekend.
Thank you! And you smell great.
there was a small item in today’s paper saying that the Russian adventurer Fedor Konyukhov who set out from NZ last November has arrived at Cape Horn, 155 days solo rowing through the massive 5-6 metre swells of the southern seas. I would love to know what land smells like after being so long at sea…would he get a smell of earth and green from some distance? I remember noticing ‘green’ scents when I came home from the Antarctic …how sweet the evening air was. His rowing boat looked so small when I saw it here in port. Got to brush my hair today ( literally) as I am having lunch with my publisher who is in town for the weekend writers festival. Wearing Le parfum de Jeanne . Get well Robin.
Cannot for the life of me remember where I read it, but it was about sea travel in the 1700s–a comment about sailors being able to smell land as they approached it after a long voyage. Hmmm… I think it was about the American whaling trade, when it ventured into deep seas.
What a brave soul. Cannot even imagine how terrifying that must have been. I’m sure the sight and smell of land must have been heavenly.
I can’t imagine either…I would think the smell of land would hardly register, I’d just be so overwhelmed to have made it.
But then I would never attempt such a thing so I don’t know what I’d feel!
I have a Saturday morning hair appointment shortly, I’m not getting it bleached this time, so my perfume won’t have to contend with quite such harsh chemicals. I’m planning on Hermès Hiris, nothing niche about that, but good focus on the ‘H’ aspect of the community project 🙂
Looking forward to reading everyone’s comments, while I’m at the hair dresser.
Go Hiris!
Based on the notes, I thought I would love Hiram Green Moon Bloom, Shangri-La, or Arbole Arbole and was surprised to find that I didn’t. I decided that Hiram Green just wasn’t a house that worked for me.
Then Kevin’s review lured me into trying Slowdive and, despite never having particularly liked honey as a note, was completely captivated. And here I am, wearing Slowdive–one of my favorite new scents.
I do really like Moon Bloom and quite like the orange blossom one, but by and large his style isn’t what I like best.
No doing the CP today–just went for something tame, a very small dab of Shay & Blue’s White Peaches from a Luckyscent sample. Not much sillage, but the scent is still going strong six hours after applying, which is saying a lot as I have scent eating skin. It is a big peach scent–very clean, almost virginal if I can say that. It was appropriate for the setting. I was on a very VIP tour of Oakland’s Mormon Temple, opened for the first time in 50 years to non-Mormons. It was a fairly intimate tour with church leaders. We got to see many of the inner sanctums and I learned a lot about the Church. Tomorrow they are expecting 25,000 visitors (only a few rooms will be open to them). While the Church is not always simpatico with some of the culture/politics around here, I really appreciated the spirit of welcome from congregants and am very glad I got this opportunity.
Back to perfume news–last night I tested Byredo’s Sundazed (also from the Luckyscent May pack) and hated it. On me it was a total scrubber. While I have yet to fall in love with any of the Byredos, I have found them mostly inoffensive (favorites among those I’ve tried are Rose of No Man’s Land and Bal d’Afrique). Sundazed to my nose was a definite NO NO.
That’s strike 2 for Sundazed and I will probably skip it.
And how cool — I think they have done that at the DC temple but I’ve never been.
After reading your comment I went looking to see if Sundazed had been reviewed on NST. I somehow missed Kevin’s review. I have to say, his response to the scent was much tamer than mine. I HATED it. Something in the perfume made me recoil–and I am fine with many blah mainstreams and perfumes with “white musk.” It might be the cotton-candy note? I’m interested to see what others think and how well it sells (not that I have any idea how I would know ‘how well it sells’! :-P)
SOTD is Heeley Sel Marin. I’m not fond of aquatics and only occasionally wear beachy scents, but I love salty fragrances that smell of the rocky seacoast, so I enjoy this one as well as JM Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I’ll have to try the Profumo Roma that Bear mentioned yesterday. My favorite ‘salt’ comes from Hermès EdM.
Busy day today filled with two of my passions, history and nature. Today is the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad. Our library’s resident film historian hosted a fantastic matinee showing of the 1924 silent film, Iron Horse, about the construction of the railroad. Would be a great film for anyone taking a train trip out west! Tonight we’ll be celebrating Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday with a special tribute concert by one of Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music’s finest troubadours.
A double dose of nature’s beauty blessed me today, too. Finally, the sun is shining after a week of rain. And all the migrating birds are here gracing our garden with song and color. A whole flock of orioles, their brilliant orange and black feasting on the oranges and grape jelly we provide for them, the beautiful rose-breasted grosbeaks are here, too along with the deep indigo blue of the bunting I saw yesterday and the glorious yellow of the goldfinches. White-crowned and white-throated sparrows with their soft whistles and my favorite little brown wren’s cheery all-day song are music to my ears.
Wishing blessings your way this weekend!
How fun about the tribute concert! A friend invited me last Friday to a group that meets up periodically to sing rounds, and last week they were doing Pete Seeger for his 100th. Sadly, I couldn’t make it.
And your garden sounds magical!
Pete Seeger was all about everyone joining in, so that was a great fit for your group, sorry you were unable to make it. We have numerous events commemorating this occasion here, so perhaps you can find another. Tonight’s event was spectacular, the musician had actually performed with Pete numerous times, is a favorite of ours we follow anyway, and he night was highly interactive. I left feeling positive and hopeful for mankind.
Scent twins for the first time ever, methinks!
Just goes to show there’s a first time for everything. I think we are actually quadruplets today!
Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday? Does that ever make me feel old.
I know what you mean. ‘If I Had a Hammer’ and ‘Where Have All the Flowers Gone?’ takes me right back to those long-ago days like they were yesterday!
If I can’t remember what I wore this morning, I am going to spray wear Happy Heart. Double H’s. I’ll bet no one has heard of the brand, Clinique, nor its parent company. ?
Very sentimental perfume.
Who???
🙂
Checking in late, as usual. Another warm, lovely day here. Its about 85 degrees, 30 celsius. Summer has arrived! Its supposed to be as good tomorrow!
I accidentally sprayed on some Heure Exquise after my shower at 4:30am today; I must have not been totally awake and thought it was the weekend already. Thankfully no one noticed or ‘said anything’, as we are a no ‘fume office. I kept getting lovely whiffs every once in awhile thru the day; maybe I can get thru my 2 bottles yet!
+30!! We are lucky to have +13. Enjoy it for me.
I will, thank you! I’ve sent some warmth your way too, happy to share☀☀
Chiming in late, as usual. Scent tried in the afternoon: HdP — I think it was 1826, Imperatrice Eugenie. It wasn’t a scrubber, but it didn’t strike me as really my thing, either, at least not at that particular time.
I put on a bit of HdP 1969 later, right before going out to dinner. I really liked the peachy top notes. I was a little self-conscious about the patchouli and other base notes at dinnertime, but fortunately I wasn’t sitting with someone who was super-sensitive to scent. She couldn’t smell it sitting across a table from me. When she walked close by me, she said it was fine. I liked the patchouli/chocolate/coffee heart and base quite a bit myself.
Heeley Chypre 21. Turned a little sour on me in the middle. Nice before and after!
I wore Heeley Vetiver Veritas. A very true to the roots vetiver.
