Van Cleef & Arpels Santal Blanc ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 30 April 2019 5 Comments

Van Cleef & Arpels has launched Santal Blanc, a new addition to the brands′s Collection Extraordinaire.

Symbolizing purity, softness, and perfect balance, “White” is a truly inspiring theme for the Collection, whose values are based on minimalism and olfactory excellence. This approach gives rise to the new fragrance: Santal Blanc. A velvety texture for a marvellous [sic] Sandalwood. Combined with a note of fig milk and a delicate powdery musk, its trail reveals a tender addiction...

Additional notes include mandarin, violet and tonka bean.

Van Cleef & Arpels Santal Blanc is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

(via worlddutyfree, additional information via galerieslafayette)

Update: Santal Blanc was developed by perfumer Michel Almairac.

Thank you for the info, Robin, I’m excited about this one. It’s been overall an outstanding collection, I have Bois d’Iris which I know you love and Gardenia Petale which I enjoy so much as it is one of those rare gardenia which is not tuberose forward.

I have Bois d’Iris too, and lovely it is. Am less interested in trying Santal Blanc: when a perfume is called minimalist I always think well then, why don’t we just put on some scented lotion…

It is worth a shot, but I think I am now behind on this collection by 4 or 5 perfumes…I will never catch up with everything!
