The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 21 February 2019 13 Comments

Another of my favorite sort of lemming: one I don't want but you might. Kilian's new Le Rouge Parfum lipsticks are scented with orange blossom and marshmallow (according to the website) or neroli and vanilla (according to Facebook), so perhaps borrow from the brand's Sweet Redemption? There are six shades of red, in matte or satin, $55 each.

I’m going to choose to believe you are supposed to roll the case over your lips just like this to make a pattern.

LOL, a new trend in makeup – patterned lips.

That might get me to wear lipstick again!

I love it. I look forward to seeing patterned lips on the next runway.

The smell sounds nice but not for $55.

      Hey, they’re a bargain — Serge charges $80 😉

    $55 each

So I do not doubt how lovely these lipsticks would be, and the scent sounds wonderful, but at this price point this is just flexing.

My favorite lippy costs $9 at CVS. L’oreal color rich in cinnamon toast. Just as good as if not better than any of the luxury brands. I get many compliments on the color.

    Does anyone else remember
    Dana tabu scented lipstick?
I can see it on my mother’s makeup table thinking it was the height of elegance.

$55 for a lippy? Can’t do it….that’s money that could be spent on a bottle of perfume! 🙂

Fave lippy is Revlon Cherries in the Snow…. $8.99! $6.99 if you clip a coupon outta the paper….. 🙂

I will check these out someday, although the red is probably a bit much for me.

By comparison, Tom Ford lipstick, which has my perfect color, is also $55.
