Guerlain has launched Imagine, a new entry in the brand's Les Parisiennes collection of reissues.
Imagine is a nod to the John Lennon song, and brings back 2011's London, from the Une Ville, Un Parfum series. The notes include bergamot, grapefruit, cardamom, rhubarb accord, roses, violet, black tea, cedar and vetiver.
Guerlain Imagine is available in 125 ml Eau de Parfum, €230.

So it’s London in a Bee bottle to put it simply?
You got it.
But I do assume these must get at least somewhat reformulated, like everything else does.
Yeah, reformulation surely is included in the package.
The notes sound nice and summery, but that bottle size is huge!
Yep! Same size for this whole series, IIRC.
I would actually love a Bee Bottle with purple juice. I’ve got Bee Bottles for the 4 original colognes, and I treasure those.
I bet they look gorgeous 🙂
HA — my main interest in this one is the color. If it was 30 ml I’d probably have to buy it.
I got a supercute set of 3 mini Bee bottles with my last perfume purchase. Imagine 3 mini Bees with purple juice 🙂
Not what Lennon was imagining, but I’ll go for it!
Robin, did you try London? I know this has likely been reformulated, but I liked London more than I was expecting to. I finally tried it earlier this year when a kind NSTer included a small decant in a swap. It’s citrus, rhubarb, tea, and musk, but a pleasant musk to me. I could see you enjoying it.
IIRC I did not. It does sound like something I’d like, but can’t imagine I’d find it worth that price? Do you think it’s *that* fabulous?
Well, no. A 10ml decant would hit the spot though.
Mini bee bottles! Where?
Place VendĂ´me in Wevelgem. To be precise they are the smooth Bee bottles with 7.5 ml of Eau de Lingerie, Eau de Lit and Eau de Cashmere.
I’ll never use them.
I actually liked London more than I expected to. It’s a great summer perfume of citrus, rhubarb, tea, and musk. I’d love to try Imagine. I’m hoping someone will eventually split it.
The Guerlain boutiques don’t have this – said they aren’t getting it either. This was the best (imho) of the Les Voyages Olfactifs collection – Paris to London. Now they are bringing it back under a new name and exclusive collection Les Parisiennes. If anyone knows where it’s available, I’d love to know!
