The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 24 January 2019 18 Comments

And still more budget options to rose up your hair: Pantene's new Rose Water Pro-V duo. "Pantene’s Rose Water sulfate-free shampoo gently cleans and soothes dry hair by infusing it with the nutrients hair needs to hold onto moisture. The Soothing Moisture Wash with Rose Water Pro-V Blend is a rich, creamy formula free of sulfates, parabens, dyes and mineral oils. Dry, dull hair turns into shiny, touchably soft. Pantene’s Rose Water sulfate-free conditioner provides instant relief for dry hair by replenishing hair inside and out with a blend of moisturizing nutrients. The Restoring Moisture Milk includes rose water, antioxidants, and our legendary pro-vitamin B5 in a creamy formula free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, or mineral oils." Both items are available in 2 sizes, 300 ml for $5.99 or 530 ml for $9.99, at Target.

    This sounds lovely!
If I can add to your budget lemming, a similar product that I use is another Rose shampoo from Love Beauty & Planet. https://www.lovebeautyandplanet.com/us/en/hair/products/shampoo/sulfate-free-murumuru-butter-&-rose-shampoo.html

I also use a rose conditioner that my french neighbor brings back from France for me that is impossible to find here, its a niche brand but that one and the LB&P smell very similar and are very natural.

I may buy this when I need another shampoo, though it doesn’t seem my closest Target carries it right now.

I’ve got the Suave Rose Oil Infusion Volumizing Shampoo in my shower currently. It’s a dupe for Matrix Oil Wonders Volume Rose. I really like the scent and it seems to treat my hair well even though I don’t really need a volumizing shampoo.

Ooooooh, a volumizing shampoo that smells like roses! If it works for hair on the oilier side, that might be worth taking a look at. ?

I don’t find it to add any oil to my hair, though only my roots and my hairs that touch my face get oily in general. I tend to get oily around the roots and dry at the ends.

I’m not sure why a conditioner would have sulfates in the first place.
